उ॒भा उ॑ नू॒नं तदिद॑र्थयेथे॒ वि त॑न्वाथे॒ धियो॒ वस्त्रा॒पसे॑व । स॒ध्री॒ची॒ना यात॑वे॒ प्रेम॑जीगः सु॒दिने॑व॒ पृक्ष॒ आ तं॑सयेथे ॥ (१)

हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम हमारे हव्य की कामना करते हो. जुलाहा जिस प्रकार कपड़ा बुनता है, उसी प्रकार तुम हमारी स्तुतियों को बढ़ाते हो. यजमान तुम दोनों के एक साथ आने के लिए स्तुति करता है. तुम सूर्य एवं चंद्रमा के समान अन्न को अलंकृत करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! You wish us a happy one. Just as the weavers weave cloth, so do you increase our praises. The host praises you both for coming together. You adorn the grain like the sun and the moon. (1)
उ॒ष्टारे॑व॒ फर्व॑रेषु श्रयेथे प्रायो॒गेव॒ श्वात्र्या॒ शासु॒रेथः॑ । दू॒तेव॒ हि ष्ठो य॒शसा॒ जने॑षु॒ माप॑ स्थातं महि॒षेवा॑व॒पाना॑त् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बैल जिस प्रकार घास के मैदान में चरते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम यज्ञकर्ता लोगों के पास आते हो. रथ को चलाने वाले शीघ्रगामी अश्व के समान तुम धन देने के लिए स्तोता के पास आते हो. तुम दूत के समान यशस्वी बनो. जैसे भैंसे तालाब को नहीं छोड़ते, उसी प्रकार तुम भी सोमपान को मत छोड़ना. (२)
EN English Translation
Just as bulls graze in the grassland, so you come to the sacrificing people. Like a quick horse driving the chariot, you come to the stota to give money. You be as successful as the messenger. Just as buffaloes don't leave the pond, so do you also not leave The Sompan. (2)
सा॒कं॒युजा॑ शकु॒नस्ये॑व प॒क्षा प॒श्वेव॑ चि॒त्रा यजु॒रा ग॑मिष्टम् । अ॒ग्निरि॑व देव॒योर्दी॑दि॒वांसा॒ परि॑ज्मानेव यजथः पुरु॒त्रा ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम चिड़ियों के पंखों के समान एक-दूसरे से मिले रहते हो. तुम इस यज्ञ में दो विचित्र पशुओं के समान आए हो. तुम यजमान के यज्ञ में अग्नि के समान दीप्तिशाली हो तथा पुरोहितों के समान स्थानों में देवों की पूजा करते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! You meet each other like birds' wings. You have come to this yagna like two strange animals. You are as bright as agni in the yajna of the host and worship the gods in places like priests. (3)
आ॒पी वो॑ अ॒स्मे पि॒तरे॑व पु॒त्रोग्रेव॑ रु॒चा नृ॒पती॑व तु॒र्यै । इर्ये॑व पु॒ष्ट्यै कि॒रणे॑व भु॒ज्यै श्रु॑ष्टी॒वाने॑व॒ हव॒मा ग॑मिष्टम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम हमारे प्रति वही प्रेम रखो, जो माता-पिता पुत्र के प्रति रखते हैं. तुम अग्नि एवं सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी एवं राजा के समान शीघ्र काम करने वाले बनो. तुम धनी व्यक्ति के समान दूसरों का भला करने वाले व सूर्यकिरणों के समान योग देने वाले बनो तथा सुखी व्यक्ति के समान इस यज्ञ में आओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Have the same love for us as parents have for the Son. Be as bright as agni and sun, and as fast as a king. Be you like a rich man who does good to others and give yoga like suryakirans and come to this yagna like a happy person. (4)
वंस॑गेव पूष॒र्या॑ शि॒म्बाता॑ मि॒त्रेव॑ ऋ॒ता श॒तरा॒ शात॑पन्ता । वाजे॑वो॒च्चा वय॑सा घर्म्ये॒ष्ठा मेषे॑वे॒षा स॑प॒र्या॒३॒॑ पुरी॑षा ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम बैलों के समान स्वस्थ एवं सुखदाता तथा मित्र वरुण के समान यथार्थ-दर्शी, सैकड़ों सुख देने एवं शीघ्र स्तुति पाने वाले हो. तुम घोड़ों के समान हव्य से पुष्ट एवं सूर्यचंद्रमा के रूप में स्थित हो और मेढ़ों के समान भोज्य पदार्थ से पुष्ट अंग वाले बने हो. (५)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! You are as healthy and pleasant as bulls and as realistic as friend Varuna, giving hundreds of pleasures and getting quick praise. You are as strong as horses and located as a sun moon, and you are made of a fleshy substance like rams. (5)
सृ॒ण्ये॑व ज॒र्भरी॑ तु॒र्फरी॑तू नैतो॒शेव॑ तु॒र्फरी॑ पर्फ॒रीका॑ । उ॒द॒न्य॒जेव॒ जेम॑ना मदे॒रू ता मे॑ ज॒राय्व॒जरं॑ म॒रायु॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम हाथी के अंकुश के समान लोगों को रोकने वाले एवं हनन करने वाले हो. तुम वधिक के समान शत्रुहंता एवं असुरविनाशक हो. तुम जल में उत्पन्न पदार्थ के समान उज्ज्वल व शक्तिशाली हो. तुम मरणधर्मा शरीर को यौवन दो. (६)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! You are the one who stops and abuses people like an elephant's curb. You are as hostile and as antithetical as the vamishta. You are as bright and powerful as the substance produced in water. You give the mortal body to puberty. (6)
प॒ज्रेव॒ चर्च॑रं॒ जारं॑ म॒रायु॒ क्षद्मे॒वार्थे॑षु तर्तरीथ उग्रा । ऋ॒भू नाप॑त्खरम॒ज्रा ख॒रज्रु॑र्वा॒युर्न प॑र्फरत्क्षयद्रयी॒णाम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शक्तिशाली अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम वीर पुरुषों के समान मेरे घूमने वाले वृद्धावस्था से युक्त एवं मरणशील शरीर को विपत्तियों से उसी प्रकार पार करके अनुकूल स्थिति में पहुंचाओ, जिस प्रकार जल नीचे स्थान की ओर बहता है. तुम्हें ऋभु के समान शीघ्रगामी रथ मिला है. वायु के समान तेज चलने वाला तुम्हारा रथ उड़कर शत्रुओं का धन छीन लाया है. (७)
EN English Translation
O mighty Ashwinikumaro! Like you brave men, cross my wandering old-age and dying body with adversities to a favorable position in the same way as the water flows down to the place below. You have got a quick chariot like Ribhu. Your chariot, which runs as fast as the wind, has blown away the wealth of the enemies. (7)
घ॒र्मेव॒ मधु॑ ज॒ठरे॑ स॒नेरू॒ भगे॑विता तु॒र्फरी॒ फारि॒वार॑म् । प॒त॒रेव॑ चच॒रा च॒न्द्रनि॑र्णि॒ङ्मन॑ऋङ्गा मन॒न्या॒३॒॑ न जग्मी॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम महान् वीरों के समान सोमरस अपने पेट में भरते हो. तुम धन के रक्षक तथा शत्रुविदीर्णकारी आयुधों वाले हो. तुम पक्षियों के समान विचरण करने वाले, चंद्रमा के समान सुंदर, इच्छा मात्र से सुशोभित होने वाले एवं प्रशंसनीय व्यक्तियों के समान यज्ञ में जाने वाले हो. (८)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! You fill the somras in your stomach like great heroes. You are the protector of money and the enemy-wielding armaments. You are going to go to yagnas like birds, as beautiful as the moon, adorned with desire and admirable people. (8)
बृ॒हन्ते॑व ग॒म्भरे॑षु प्रति॒ष्ठां पादे॑व गा॒धं तर॑ते विदाथः । कर्णे॑व॒ शासु॒रनु॒ हि स्मरा॒थोंऽशे॑व नो भजतं चि॒त्रमप्नः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! जिस प्रकार लंबे पैर गहरे जल को पार करने में सहायता देते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम विपत्ति से पार होने में मुझे सहारा दो. तुम कानों के समान स्तोता की स्तुति सुनते हो एवं यज्ञ के भागों के समान सुंदर यज्ञ में सम्मिलित होते हो. (९)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! Just as long legs help me to cross deep water, so support me in overcoming adversity. You hear the praise of the hymn like ears and you join the beautiful yajna as the parts of the yajna. (9)
आ॒र॒ङ्ग॒रेव॒ मध्वेर॑येथे सार॒घेव॒ गवि॑ नी॒चीन॑बारे । की॒नारे॑व॒ स्वेद॑मासिष्विदा॒ना क्षामे॑वो॒र्जा सू॑यव॒सात्स॑चेथे ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमार! गूंजती हुई मधुमव्खियां जिस प्रकार छत्ते में शहद भरती हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम गायों के थनों में दूध भरो. तुम मजदूरों के समान पसीने से भीग जाओ तथा चरागाह में आहार पाने वाली दुबली गाय के समान यज्ञ में अपना आहार प्राप्त करो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumar! Just as the buzzing bees fill honey in the hive, so you fill the cows' trunks with milk. You get drenched in sweat like the labourers and get your food in the yagna like a lean cow that feeds in the pasture. (10)
ऋ॒ध्याम॒ स्तोमं॑ सनु॒याम॒ वाज॒मा नो॒ मन्त्रं॑ स॒रथे॒होप॑ यातम् । यशो॒ न प॒क्वं मधु॒ गोष्व॒न्तरा भू॒तांशो॑ अ॒श्विनोः॒ काम॑मप्राः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! हम स्तुतियों का विस्तार करते हैं एवं अन्न बांटते हैं. तुम रथ पर सवार होकर हमारे यज्ञ में आओ. गायों के थनों में विस्तृत यज्ञ के समान दूध है. भूतांश ऋषि ने अश्विनीकुमारों का यह स्तोत्र बनाकर अपनी अभिलाषा प्राप्त की. (११)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! We expand praises and distribute food. You come to our yagna riding on the chariot. The udders of cows have milk similar to the elaborate yajna. Bhutansh Rishi attained his desire by making this hymn of Ashwinikumaras. (11)
