यु॒जे वां॒ ब्रह्म॑ पू॒र्व्यं नमो॑भि॒र्वि श्लोक॑ एतु प॒थ्ये॑व सू॒रेः । शृ॒ण्वन्तु॒ विश्वे॑ अ॒मृत॑स्य पु॒त्रा आ ये धामा॑नि दि॒व्यानि॑ त॒स्थुः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हवि धारण करने वाली गाड़ियो! मैं प्राचीन मंत्रों का उच्चारण करके एवं तुम्हारे ऊपर सोम आदि लादकर पत्नीशाला से ले जाता हूं. स्तोता की आहुति के समान मेरी स्तुतियां देवों के समीप जावें. दिव्यधाम में रहने वाले देव एवं अमरपुत्र इस बात को सुनें. (१)
EN English Translation
O cars that wear it! I take it from the wifeshala by reciting the ancient mantras and putting som etc on you. Like the sacrifice of the Psalms, let my praises go to the gods. The gods and the immortal sons living in divyadham should listen to this. (1)
य॒मे इ॑व॒ यत॑माने॒ यदैतं॒ प्र वां॑ भर॒न्मानु॑षा देव॒यन्तः॑ । आ सी॑दतं॒ स्वमु॑ लो॒कं विदा॑ने स्वास॒स्थे भ॑वत॒मिन्द॑वे नः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे गाडियो! जब तुम जुड़वां संतान के समान एक साथ जाती हो, तब देवपूजक लोग तुम्हारे ऊपर बहुत सी हवन की सामग्री लादते हैं. तुम अपने स्थान को जानती हुई वहां रहो एवं हमारे सोम के लिए शोभन स्थान वाली बनो. (२)
EN English Translation
Hey, Gadiyo! When you go together like twins, the god-worshipers load a lot of havan materials on you. You know your place and stay there and be the place to be a beautiful place for our Mon. (2)
पञ्च॑ प॒दानि॑ रु॒पो अन्व॑रोहं॒ चतु॑ष्पदी॒मन्वे॑मि व्र॒तेन॑ । अ॒क्षरे॑ण॒ प्रति॑ मिम ए॒तामृ॒तस्य॒ नाभा॒वधि॒ सं पु॑नामि ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे गाड़ियो! मैं तुम्हारे ऊपर यज्ञ के पांच उपकरणों को रखता हूं, नियमपूर्वक चार छंदों का प्रयोग करता हूं, ओम् का उच्चारण करके यज्ञकार्य पूरा करता हूं एवं यज्ञ की नाभि पर सोमरस को शुद्ध करता हूं. (३)
EN English Translation
Oh, the cars! I place the five instruments of the yajna above you, use four verses regularly, complete the yajna by uttering om and purify the somras on the navel of the yajna. (3)
दे॒वेभ्यः॒ कम॑वृणीत मृ॒त्युं प्र॒जायै॒ कम॒मृतं॒ नावृ॑णीत । बृह॒स्पतिं॑ य॒ज्ञम॑कृण्वत॒ ऋषिं॑ प्रि॒यां य॒मस्त॒न्वं१॒॑ प्रारि॑रेचीत् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवों में किसे मृत्यु के पास भेजा जाए एवं प्रजा में से किसे अमर न बनाया जाए? यजमान देवों के पालक एवं फलदाता विशाल यज्ञ को करते हैं. इस कारण यम हमारे शरीर को मौत के पास नहीं भेजते. (४)
EN English Translation
Who among the gods should be sent to death, and who among the people should not be made immortal? The host performs a huge yagna by the guardians and fruit givers of the gods. Because of this Yama does not send our body near death. (4)
स॒प्त क्ष॑रन्ति॒ शिश॑वे म॒रुत्व॑ते पि॒त्रे पु॒त्रासो॒ अप्य॑वीवतन्नृ॒तम् । उ॒भे इद॑स्यो॒भय॑स्य राजत उ॒भे य॑तेते उ॒भय॑स्य पुष्यतः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोतागण पिता के समान एवं प्रशंसायोग्य सोम के लिए सातों छंदों वाली स्तुतियां बोलते हैं. सोम के पुत्र तुल्य ऋत्विज् भी सच्ची स्तुतियां बोलते हैं. हवि ढोने वाली दोनों गाड़ियां देव और मानव दोनों की ईश हैं, यज्ञकर्म पूरा करने का प्रयत्न करती हैं तथा दोनों का पोषण करती हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
The Psalms speak praises with seven verses for the father-like and praiseworthy Soma. The son of Som also speaks true praises. Both the vehicles carrying the havi are the gods of both god and man, try to complete the yajnakarma and nourish both. (5)
