सूर्य॑रश्मि॒र्हरि॑केशः पु॒रस्ता॑त्सवि॒ता ज्योति॒रुद॑या॒ँ अज॑स्रम् । तस्य॑ पू॒षा प्र॑स॒वे या॑ति वि॒द्वान्स॒म्पश्य॒न्विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि गो॒पाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सूर्य की किरणों वाले एवं हरे रंग के बालों वाले सविता सदा पूर्व की ओर प्रकाश का उदय करते हैं. सविता के जन्म पर पूषा आगे बढ़ते हैं. ज्ञानी सविता सारे संसार को भली- भांति देखते एवं रक्षा करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Savita, who has sun rays and green hair, always shines light towards the east. On savita's birth, Pusha moves on. The wise Savita sees and protects the whole world very well. (1)
नृ॒चक्षा॑ ए॒ष दि॒वो मध्य॑ आस्त आपप्रि॒वान्रोद॑सी अ॒न्तरि॑क्षम् । स वि॒श्वाची॑र॒भि च॑ष्टे घृ॒ताची॑रन्त॒रा पूर्व॒मप॑रं च के॒तुम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सविता मनुष्यों को देखते हुए अंतरिक्ष के मध्य स्थित होते हैं तथा धरती आकाश और अंतरिक्ष को अपने प्रकाश से भर देते हैं. सविता सभी दिशाओं और उनके कोनों को प्रकाशित करते हैं. सविता पहले, बाद तथा बीच के मार्गो को प्रकाशित करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Savita is located in the middle of space while looking at humans and the earth fills the sky and space with its light. Savita illuminates all the directions and their corners. Savita publishes the first, after and middle passages. (2)
रा॒यो बु॒ध्नः सं॒गम॑नो॒ वसू॑नां॒ विश्वा॑ रू॒पाभि च॑ष्टे॒ शची॑भिः । दे॒व इ॑व सवि॒ता स॒त्यध॒र्मेन्द्रो॒ न त॑स्थौ सम॒रे धना॑नाम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
धनों के मूल व संपत्तियों के संगम सविता अपनी शक्ति से सभी पदार्थो को प्रकाशित करते हैं. सविता दिव्यगुणयुक्त देव के समान सत्यधर्मा हैं एवं धन संबंधी युद्ध में स्थित रहते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The confluence of wealth and properties, Savita illuminates all the substances with her power. Savita is a true religion like the divine god and is in a war of money. (3)
वि॒श्वाव॑सुं सोम गन्ध॒र्वमापो॑ ददृ॒शुषी॒स्तदृ॒तेना॒ व्या॑यन् । तद॒न्ववै॒दिन्द्रो॑ रारहा॒ण आ॑सां॒ परि॒ सूर्य॑स्य परि॒धीँर॑पश्यत् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! विश्वावसु नामक गंधर्व को जब वसतीवरी स्थित जलों ने तुम्हारे साथ देखा, उस समय पुण्यकर्म के प्रभाव से जल ऊपर आया. इन जलों को प्रेरित करने वाले इंद्र इस बात को जानते हैं. उन्होंने चारों ओर सूर्यमंडल देखा है. (४)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! When the waters of Vasathivari saw the Gandharva called Vishwavasu with you, the water came up under the influence of virtuous deeds. Indra, who inspired these waters, knows this. They have seen the sun circle around. (4)
वि॒श्वाव॑सुर॒भि तन्नो॑ गृणातु दि॒व्यो ग॑न्ध॒र्वो रज॑सो वि॒मानः॑ । यद्वा॑ घा स॒त्यमु॒त यन्न वि॒द्म धियो॑ हिन्वा॒नो धिय॒ इन्नो॑ अव्याः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्वर्ग में रहने वाले एवं जल के निर्माता विश्वावसु गंधर्व यह बात हमारे सामने कहें. जो बात सत्य है और हम उसे नहीं जानते, वे उस बात में हमारी बुद्धियों को प्रेरित करते हुए हमारी बुद्धियों की रक्षा करें. (५)
EN English Translation
Vishwavasu Gandharva, who lives in heaven and the creator of water, should say this in front of us. What is true and we do not know it, let them protect our intellects by inspiring our intellects in that matter. (5)
सस्नि॑मविन्द॒च्चर॑णे न॒दीना॒मपा॑वृणो॒द्दुरो॒ अश्म॑व्रजानाम् । प्रासां॑ गन्ध॒र्वो अ॒मृता॑नि वोच॒दिन्द्रो॒ दक्षं॒ परि॑ जानाद॒हीना॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र ने नदियों के संचरणस्थल अंतरिक्ष में मेघ को पाया एवं पत्थरों का बना द्वार खोल दिया. गंधर्व ने इन नदियों के जल की बात बताई, इंद्र मेघों का बल ठीक से जानते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Indra found the cloud in space, the site of the circulation of the rivers, and opened the door made of stones. Gandharva spoke of the water of these rivers, Indra knows the strength of the clouds properly. (6)
