अग्ने॒ तव॒ श्रवो॒ वयो॒ महि॑ भ्राजन्ते अ॒र्चयो॑ विभावसो । बृह॑द्भानो॒ शव॑सा॒ वाज॑मु॒क्थ्यं१॒॑ दधा॑सि दा॒शुषे॑ कवे ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम्हारा अन्न प्रशंसनीय है. हे विभावसु! तुम्हारी ज्वाला बहुत दीप्तिशालिनी है. हे विशाल दीप्ति वाले एवं कुशल अग्नि! तुम हव्यदाता को प्रशंसनीय अन्न एवं बल देते हो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Agni! Your food is appreciated. O brightness! Your flame is very splendour. O who is of great brilliance and skillful Agni! You give praiseworthy food and strength to the host of yajna. (1)
पा॒व॒कव॑र्चाः शु॒क्रव॑र्चा॒ अनू॑नवर्चा॒ उदि॑यर्षि भा॒नुना॑ । पु॒त्रो मा॒तरा॑ वि॒चर॒न्नुपा॑वसि पृ॒णक्षि॒ रोद॑सी उ॒भे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभनदीप्ति वाले, निर्मल तेज वाले एवं संपूर्ण तेजस्वी अग्नि! तुम अपनी किरणों के साथ उदित होते हो. तुम पुत्र के समान माता-पिता तुल्य द्यावा-पृथिवी को छूते हो एवं उनकी गोद में खेलते हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O you with a great light, with pure brightness and a perfectly bright Agni! You rise with your rays. You touch and play in the earth like a child touch his parents and play in their lap. (2)
ऊर्जो॑ नपाज्जातवेदः सुश॒स्तिभि॒र्मन्द॑स्व धी॒तिभि॑र्हि॒तः । त्वे इषः॒ सं द॑धु॒र्भूरि॑वर्पसश्चि॒त्रोत॑यो वा॒मजा॑ताः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बल के पुत्र, सबके जानने वाले एवं स्तुतियों के साथ स्थापित अग्नि! तुम हमारे यज्ञकर्मो से प्रसन्न बनो. तुम्हारे ऊपर अनेक रूपों वाले एवं विचित्र तृप्ति वाले सब अन्न रखे हुए हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O son of strength, the agni set with all the knowers and the praises! Be pleased with our yajnakarmas. You have all the food with many forms and strange satiety on you. (3)
इ॒र॒ज्यन्न॑ग्ने प्रथयस्व ज॒न्तुभि॑र॒स्मे रायो॑ अमर्त्य । स द॑र्श॒तस्य॒ वपु॑षो॒ वि रा॑जसि पृ॒णक्षि॑ सान॒सिं क्रतु॑म् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरणरहित अग्नि! तुम शत्रुओं से ईर्ष्या करते हुए हमारा धन बढ़ाओ. तुम शोभनरूप से सुशोभित होते हो एवं सब फल देने वाले यज्ञ को छूते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
Oh, a deathless agni! Increase our wealth by jealous of your enemies. You are adorned with adornment and touch the yajna that gives all the fruits. (4)
इ॒ष्क॒र्तार॑मध्व॒रस्य॒ प्रचे॑तसं॒ क्षय॑न्तं॒ राध॑सो म॒हः । रा॒तिं वा॒मस्य॑ सु॒भगां॑ म॒हीमिषं॒ दधा॑सि सान॒सिं र॒यिम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम यज्ञ का संस्कार करने वाले, उत्तम ज्ञान वाले, महान् धन के स्वामी एवं उत्तम धन के दाता हो. तुम स्तुति सुनकर सौभाग्ययुक्त महान् अन्न एवं भोगयोग्य धन दो. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are the one who performs the yagna, the one with the best knowledge, the master of great wealth and the giver of the best wealth. You hear the praise and give you great food and consumable wealth. (5)
ऋ॒तावा॑नं महि॒षं वि॒श्वद॑र्शतम॒ग्निं सु॒म्नाय॑ दधिरे पु॒रो जनाः॑ । श्रुत्क॑र्णं स॒प्रथ॑स्तमं त्वा गि॒रा दैव्यं॒ मानु॑षा यु॒गा ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मनुष्यों ने यज्ञ के स्वामी सब कुछ देखने वाले एवं महान् अग्नि को सुख के लिए धारण किया है. तुम्हारे कान सब कुछ सुनते हैं व तुम सबसे अधिक विस्तृत हो. यजमान, उसकी पत्नी एवं उसके बालक तुझ दिव्य अग्नि की स्तुति करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Human beings have possessed the lord of the yagna, the seer of all things and the great agni for happiness. Your ears hear everything and you are the most detailed. The host, his wife, and his children praise you for the divine agni. (6)
