अ॒यं हि ते॒ अम॑र्त्य॒ इन्दु॒रत्यो॒ न पत्य॑ते । दक्षो॑ वि॒श्वायु॑र्वे॒धसे॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सृष्टिकर्ता इंद्र! यह अमृत तुल्य सोमरस तुम्हें घोड़े के समान दीड़ाता है. यह बल का आधार एवं सबका जीवन है. (१)
EN English Translation
O Creator Indra! This nectar-like somras makes you look like a horse. It is the basis of force and the life of all. (1)
अ॒यम॒स्मासु॒ काव्य॑ ऋ॒भुर्वज्रो॒ दास्व॑ते । अ॒यं बि॑भर्त्यू॒र्ध्वकृ॑शनं॒ मद॑मृ॒भुर्न कृत्व्यं॒ मद॑म् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दाता इंद्र का दीप्त वज्र हम लोगों में प्रशंसनीय है. इंद्र ऊर्ध्वकृशन नामक स्तोता तथा यज्ञकर्ता का पालन ऋभु नामक देव के समान करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The bright thunderbolt of the giver Indra is admirable among us. Indra follows the hymn named Uardhwakrishan and the yajnakar as a god named Ribhu. (2)
घृषुः॑ श्ये॒नाय॒ कृत्व॑न आ॒सु स्वासु॒ वंस॑गः । अव॑ दीधेदही॒शुवः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दीप्तिशाली इंद्र अपनी प्रजाओं में शोभन रूप से चलते हैं एवं मुझ श्येन ऋषि का वंश उन्होंने बढ़ाया है. (३)
EN English Translation
The bright indra walks gracefully in his people and has extended the lineage of my sage Sheen. (3)
यं सु॑प॒र्णः प॑रा॒वतः॑ श्ये॒नस्य॑ पु॒त्र आभ॑रत् । श॒तच॑क्रं॒ यो॒३॒॑ऽह्यो॑ वर्त॒निः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
तीव्रगति वाले श्येन के पुत्र सुपर्ण जिस सोम को दूर देश से लाए थे, वह सोम सैकड़ों कामों में उपयोगी एवं वृत्र का उत्साह बढ़ाने वाला है. (४)
EN English Translation
The Soma whom Suparna, son of the fast-paced Sheen, was brought from a distant country, is useful in hundreds of works and will increase the enthusiasm of the vritra. (4)
यं ते॑ श्ये॒नश्चारु॑मवृ॒कं प॒दाभ॑रदरु॒णं मा॒नमन्ध॑सः । ए॒ना वयो॒ वि ता॒र्यायु॑र्जी॒वस॑ ए॒ना जा॑गार ब॒न्धुता॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! श्येन तुम्हारे लिए जो सोम अपने चरण से पकड़कर लाए हैं, वह शोभन, वाचकरहित, लाल रंग का एवं यज्ञ द्वारा अन्न को उत्पन्न करने वाला है. सोम के लिए अन्न एवं जीवनयोग्य आयु दो एवं इसके साथ मित्रता करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The mon who has brought for you from his feet, Sheen, who has been caught from his feet, is a bearer, readerless, red-colored and is going to produce food through yajna. Give food and a lifeable age for Mon and befriend him. (5)
ए॒वा तदिन्द्र॒ इन्दु॑ना दे॒वेषु॑ चिद्धारयाते॒ महि॒ त्यजः॑ । क्रत्वा॒ वयो॒ वि ता॒र्यायुः॑ सुक्रतो॒ क्रत्वा॒यम॒स्मदा सु॒तः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र इस सोमरस को पीकर हमारी तथा देवों की विशेष रक्षा करते हैं. हे शोभन कर्म वाले इंद्र! हमें यज्ञ करने के लिए अन्न एवं परम आयु दो. यह सोमरस हमने यज्ञ के लिए निचोड़ा है. (६)
EN English Translation
Indra drinks this somras and protects us and the gods specially. O Indra with shobhan karma! Give us food and the ultimate age to perform yajna. This somras we have squeezed for the yagna. (6)
