ती॒व्रस्या॒भिव॑यसो अ॒स्य पा॑हि सर्वर॒था वि हरी॑ इ॒ह मु॑ञ्च । इन्द्र॒ मा त्वा॒ यज॑मानासो अ॒न्ये नि री॑रम॒न्तुभ्य॑मि॒मे सु॒तासः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम शीघ्र नशा करने वाला व चरु पुरोडाश युक्त सोमरस पिओ. तुम अपने गतिशील घोड़ों को इधर आने के लिए छोड़ो. अन्य यजमान तुम्हें संतुष्ट नहीं कर पाए. हमने तुम्हारे लिए यह सोमरस निचोड़ा है. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You drink somers with quick intoxicating and charu purodash. You leave your dynamic horses to come here. Other hosts couldn't satisfy you. We've squeezed this somras for you. (1)
तुभ्यं॑ सु॒तास्तुभ्य॑मु॒ सोत्वा॑स॒स्त्वां गिरः॒ श्वात्र्या॒ आ ह्व॑यन्ति । इन्द्रे॒दम॒द्य सव॑नं जुषा॒णो विश्व॑स्य वि॒द्वाँ इ॒ह पा॑हि॒ सोम॑म् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो सोमरस तुम्हारे लिए निचोड़ा गया है, वह तुम्हारे लिए ही रहेगा. उच्चारण की जाती हुई स्तुतियां तुम्हें बुलाती हैं. तुम हमारा यह यज्ञ स्वीकार करके सोमपान करो. तुम सब जानते हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The somras that has been squeezed for you will remain the same for you. The praises that are pronounced call you. You accept this yajna of ours and do sompan. You all know. (2)
य उ॑श॒ता मन॑सा॒ सोम॑मस्मै सर्वहृ॒दा दे॒वका॑मः सु॒नोति॑ । न गा इन्द्र॒स्तस्य॒ परा॑ ददाति प्रश॒स्तमिच्चारु॑मस्मै कृणोति ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो व्यक्ति अभिलाषापूर्ण मन से, संपूर्ण हदय से एवं देवाभिलाषी बनकर इस इंद्र के लिए सोमरस निचोड़ता है, इंद्र उसकी गाएं नष्ट नहीं करते. वे उसके लिए प्रशंसनीय एवं सुंदर धन देते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
A person who squeezes somras for this Indra with a desireful mind, with a whole heart and by becoming a godly man, Indra does not destroy his songs. They give praiseworthy and beautiful money for him. (3)
अनु॑स्पष्टो भवत्ये॒षो अ॑स्य॒ यो अ॑स्मै रे॒वान्न सु॒नोति॒ सोम॑म् । निर॑र॒त्नौ म॒घवा॒ तं द॑धाति ब्रह्म॒द्विषो॑ ह॒न्त्यना॑नुदिष्टः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो धनवान् यजमान इंद्र के लिए सोमरस निचोड़ता है, इंद्र उसके सामने प्रत्यक्ष होते हैं. धनी इंद्र उसका हाथ पकड़ लेते हैं एवं यज्ञविरोधियों को बिना किसी के कहे हुए नष्ट कर देते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The one who squeezes the somras for the rich moon Indra, Indra is direct in front of him. The rich Indra holds his hand and destroys the sacrificial opponents without anyone saying them. (4)
अ॒श्वा॒यन्तो॑ ग॒व्यन्तो॑ वा॒जय॑न्तो॒ हवा॑महे॒ त्वोप॑गन्त॒वा उ॑ । आ॒भूष॑न्तस्ते सुम॒तौ नवा॑यां व॒यमि॑न्द्र त्वा शु॒नं हु॑वेम ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम घोड़े, गायों एवं अन्न की अभिलाषा से तुम्हारे आगमन की प्रार्थना करते हैं हम तुम्हें सुखदाता जानते हैं, इसलिए यह नवीन स्तोत्र बनाकर तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We pray for your arrival with the desire of horses, cows and food, we know you to be the giver of happiness, so we call you by making this new hymn. (5)
