अध्व॑र्यवो॒ भर॒तेन्द्रा॑य॒ सोम॒माम॑त्रेभिः सिञ्चता॒ मद्य॒मन्धः॑ । का॒मी हि वी॒रः सद॑मस्य पी॒तिं जु॒होत॒ वृष्णे॒ तदिदे॒ष व॑ष्टि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! इंद्र के लिए सोम ले जाओ एवं चमसों के द्वारा मादक सोम को अन्ने में डालो. इस सोम को पीने के लिए वीर इंद्र सदा इच्छुक रहते हैं. तुम कामवर्धक इंद्र के निमित्त सोम दो, क्योंकि वे इसे चाहते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! Take the mon to Indra and put the intoxicating mon in the anne through the spoons. Veer Indra is always inclined to drink this mon. You give the jeweler Mon for Indra's sake, because they want it. (1)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यो अ॒पो व॑व्रि॒वांसं॑ वृ॒त्रं ज॒घाना॒शन्ये॑व वृ॒क्षम् । तस्मा॑ ए॒तं भ॑रत तद्व॒शाय॑ँ ए॒ष इन्द्रो॑ अर्हति पी॒तिम॑स्य ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! जिन इंद्र ने जल को रोकने वाले वृत्र असुर को वज्र द्वारा इस प्रकार मार डाला, जैसे पेड़ काट देते हैं, उन सोमरस पीने के इच्छुक इंद्र के पास सोम ले जाओ, क्योंकि वे ही इसे पीने की योग्यता रखते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! The Indra, who killed the Vrithra Asura who stopped the water, with a thunderbolt, as if the trees cut down, take the Somaras to Indra, who wants to drink it, because they are the ones who have the ability to drink it. (2)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यो दृभी॑कं ज॒घान॒ यो गा उ॒दाज॒दप॒ हि व॒लं वः । तस्मा॑ ए॒तम॒न्तरि॑क्षे॒ न वात॒मिन्द्रं॒ सोमै॒रोर्णु॑त॒ जूर्न वस्त्रैः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युगण! जिन इंद्र ने दूमीक का हनन किया, जिन्होंने बल असुर का नाश करके उसके द्वारा रोकी हुई गायों को स्वतंत्र किया, उन इंद्र के लिए इस प्रकार सब जगह सोम भर दो, जैसे आकाश में वायु भरी रहती है. जिस प्रकार दुर्बल व्यक्ति को कपड़ों से ढक देते हैं, उसी प्रकार इंद्र को सोमरस से ढक दो. (३)
EN English Translation
O teacher! For Indra, who violated Dumik, who destroyed the force asura and freed the cows stopped by him, fill up the som everywhere in this way, just as the sky is filled with air. Just as you cover the weak person with clothes, cover Indra with somers. (3)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ य उर॑णं ज॒घान॒ नव॑ च॒ख्वांसं॑ नव॒तिं च॑ बा॒हून् । यो अर्बु॑द॒मव॑ नी॒चा ब॑बा॒धे तमिन्द्रं॒ सोम॑स्य भृ॒थे हि॑नोत ॥ (४)

हे अध्वर्युजनो! जिन इंद्र ने निन्यानवे भुजाओं का प्रदर्शन करने वाले उरण असुर को मारा तथा अर्बुद को नीचे की ओर मुख करके समाप्त किया, उन इंद्र के लिए सोमरस भरने के लिए पात्र लाओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! Bring the vessel to fill the somras for Indra, who hit the Uran asura, who performed ninety-nine arms, and ended the arbud by facing downwards. (4)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यः स्वश्नं॑ ज॒घान॒ यः शुष्ण॑म॒शुषं॒ यो व्यं॑सम् । यः पिप्रुं॒ नमु॑चिं॒ यो रु॑धि॒क्रां तस्मा॒ इन्द्रा॒यान्ध॑सो जुहोत ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! जिन इंद्र ने अश्न राक्षस को सरलतापूर्वक नष्ट किया तथा न मरने योग्य शुष्ण असुर को बिना गरदन का बना डाला एवं जिन्होंने पिप्रु नमुचि तथा रुधिक्रा का विनाश किया, उन्हीं इंद्र के लिए सोमरस लाओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! The Indra who easily destroyed the ashna demon and made the unreachable shushna asura without a neck and who destroyed pipru namuchi and rudhikra, bring someras for those indras. (5)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यः श॒तं शम्ब॑रस्य॒ पुरो॑ बि॒भेदाश्म॑नेव पू॒र्वीः । यो व॒र्चिनः॑ श॒तमिन्द्रः॑ स॒हस्र॑म॒पाव॑प॒द्भर॑ता॒ सोम॑मस्मै ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! जिन इंद्र ने शंबर असुर की प्राचीन सौ नगरियों को वज्र द्वारा नष्ट-भ्रष्ट कर दिया एवं जिन्होंने वर्ची के सौ हजार पुत्रों को मारकर एक साथ ही धरती पर गिरा दिया, उन्हीं इंद्र के लिए सोम ले आओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! Bring soma for indra who destroyed and corrupted the ancient hundred cities of Sambar Asura with thunderbolt and who killed a hundred thousand sons of Varchi and threw them down on the earth simultaneously. (6)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यः श॒तमा स॒हस्रं॒ भूम्या॑ उ॒पस्थेऽव॑पज्जघ॒न्वान् । कुत्स॑स्या॒योर॑तिथि॒ग्वस्य॑ वी॒रान्न्यावृ॑ण॒ग्भर॑ता॒ सोम॑मस्मै ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! जिस शत्रुहननकर्ता इंद्र ने सौ हजार असुरों को धरती की गोद में मारकर गिरा दिया एवं जिन्होंने कुत्स, आयु और अतिथिग्व के विरोधियों का नाश किया उन्हीं इंद्र के लिए सोमरस लाओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! Bring someras for indra, the enemy who killed and threw down a hundred thousand asuras in the lap of the earth and those who destroyed the opponents of kuts, age and atithigava. (7)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यन्न॑रः का॒मया॑ध्वे श्रु॒ष्टी वह॑न्तो नशथा॒ तदिन्द्रे॑ । गभ॑स्तिपूतं भरत श्रु॒तायेन्द्रा॑य॒ सोमं॑ यज्यवो जुहोत ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञकर्मकर्तता अध्वर्युजनो! तुम जो चाहते हो, वह इंद्र के लिए सोमरस देने पर तुरंत मिल जाएगा. हे याज्ञिको! हाथों से निचोड़ा हुआ सोमरस लाकर इंद्र के लिए प्रदान करो. (८)
EN English Translation
O yajnakarta adhwaryujano! Whatever you want, he will get immediately on giving somras to Indra. O yajnako! Provide for Indra by bringing the squeezed somras with hands. (8)
अध्व॑र्यवः॒ कर्त॑ना श्रु॒ष्टिम॑स्मै॒ वने॒ निपू॑तं॒ वन॒ उन्न॑यध्वम् । जु॒षा॒णो हस्त्य॑म॒भि वा॑वशे व॒ इन्द्रा॑य॒ सोमं॑ मदि॒रं जु॑होत ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! इन इंद्र के लिए सुखकारक सोम तैयार करो. तुम पीने योग्य जल में धोकर शुद्ध किए हुए सोम को ले आओ. प्रसन्न इंद्र तुम लोगों के हाथ से तैयार किया हुआ सोमरस चाहते हैं. इंद्र के लिए मादक सोम ले आओ. (९)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! Prepare the soothing mon for these Indras. You wash in potable water and bring the purified mon. Happy Indra you want the hand-crafted somras of you. Bring the intoxicating mon to Indra. (9)
अध्व॑र्यवः॒ पय॒सोध॒र्यथा॒ गोः सोमे॑भिरीं पृणता भो॒जमिन्द्र॑म् । वेदा॒हम॑स्य॒ निभृ॑तं म ए॒तद्दित्स॑न्तं॒ भूयो॑ यज॒तश्चि॑केत ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! जिस प्रकार गाय का थन दूध से भरा रहता है, उसी प्रकार इन फलदाता इंद्र को सोमरस देने वाले यजमान को भली प्रकार जानते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O adhwaryujano! Just as the cow's trunk is full of milk, so these fruit givers know very well the host who gives Somras to Indra. (10)
अध्व॑र्यवो॒ यो दि॒व्यस्य॒ वस्वो॒ यः पार्थि॑वस्य॒ क्षम्य॑स्य॒ राजा॑ । तमूर्द॑रं॒ न पृ॑णता॒ यवे॒नेन्द्रं॒ सोमे॑भि॒स्तदपो॑ वो अस्तु ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अध्वर्युजनो! इंद्र स्वर्ग, धरती आकाश में रहने वाले धनों के राजा हैं. जिस प्रकार जौ से कुटिया भर देते हैं, उसी प्रकार इंद्र को सोमरस से पूर्ण कर दो. यह काम तुम्हारे द्वारा होना चाहिए था. (११)
EN English Translation
O Adhwaryujano! Indra is the king of wealth living in heaven, earth and sky. Just as you fill the hut with barley, in the same way, complete Indra with someras. This work should have been done by you. (11)
अ॒स्मभ्यं॒ तद्व॑सो दा॒नाय॒ राधः॒ सम॑र्थयस्व ब॒हु ते॑ वस॒व्य॑म् । इन्द्र॒ यच्चि॒त्रं श्र॑व॒स्या अनु॒ द्यून्बृ॒हद्व॑देम वि॒दथे॑ सु॒वीराः॑ ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे निवासदाता इंद्र! हमें दानादि के लिए अपना पर्याप्त, विचित्र एवं शरण लेने योग्य धन प्रदान करो. हम प्रतिदिन उस धन के भोगने के इच्छुक हैं. हम उत्तम पुत्र एवं पौत्र प्राप्त करके इस यज्ञ में बहुत सी स्तुतियों का पाठ करेंगे. (१२)
EN English Translation
O Lord Indra! Give us your adequate, bizarre and asylum-taking money for charity. We are willing to enjoy that money every day. We will receive the best sons and grandsons and recite many praises in this yajna. (12)
