तुभ्यं॑ हिन्वा॒नो व॑सिष्ट॒ गा अ॒पोऽधु॑क्षन्सी॒मवि॑भि॒रद्रि॑भि॒र्नरः॑ । पिबे॑न्द्र॒ स्वाहा॒ प्रहु॑तं॒ वष॑ट्कृतं हो॒त्रादा सोमं॑ प्रथ॒मो य ईशि॑षे ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे उद्देश्य से प्रस्तुत यह सोम गाय के दूध, दही एवं जल से मिश्रित है. यज्ञ के नेताओं ने इसे पत्थरों एवं भेड़ के बालों से बने दशापवित्रों की सहायता से तैयार किया है. तुम सारे संसार के स्वामी हो, इसलिए स्वाहा एवं वषटू शब्दों के साथ अग्नि में डाले गए सोमरस का होता के पास से सर्वप्रथम पान करो. EN English Translation
O Indra! Presented for your purpose it is mixed with mon cow's milk, curd and water. The leaders of the yajna have prepared it with the help of dashapavitras made of stones and sheep's hair. You are the masters of all the worlds, so first of all drink from the place of the somras put in the agni with the words swaha and the year. (1)
य॒ज्ञैः सम्मि॑श्लाः॒ पृष॑तीभिरृ॒ष्टिभि॒र्याम॑ञ्छु॒भ्रासो॑ अ॒ञ्जिषु॑ प्रि॒या उ॒त । आ॒सद्या॑ ब॒र्हिर्भ॑रतस्य सूनवः पो॒त्रादा सोमं॑ पिबता दिवो नरः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञों से संयुक्त, पृषती से युक्त रथ पर बैठे हुए, अपने आयुधों से शोभा पाते हुए, आभरणों को प्रेम करने वाले, भरत के पुत्र एवं अंतरिक्ष के नेता मरुद्गण! तुम बिछे हुए कुशों पर बैठकर पोता से सोमपान करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O united with the yajnas, sitting on a chariot containing the prishti, adorning his weapons, those who love the arbhars, the sons of Bharata and the marudgans, the leader of space! You sit on the shacks that you have laid down and do sompan with your grandson. (2)
अ॒मेव॑ नः सुहवा॒ आ हि गन्त॑न॒ नि ब॒र्हिषि॑ सदतना॒ रणि॑ष्टन । अथा॑ मन्दस्व जुजुषा॒णो अन्ध॑स॒स्त्वष्ट॑र्दे॒वेभि॒र्जनि॑भिः सु॒मद्ग॑णः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन आह्वान वाले त्वष्टा! तुम हमारे साथ आओ, कुशों पर बैठो एवं आनंद करो. इसके बाद देवों एवं देवपत्नियों के साथ शोभन समूह बनाकर सोम रूप अन्न का उपयोग करते हुए तृप्त बनो. (३)
EN English Translation
O shobhan invocation of the invocation! You come with us, sit on the cushions and enjoy. After this, be satisfied by forming shobhan groups with gods and goddesses using the soma form of food. (3)
आ व॑क्षि दे॒वाँ इ॒ह वि॑प्र॒ यक्षि॑ चो॒शन्हो॑त॒र्नि ष॑दा॒ योनि॑षु त्रि॒षु । प्रति॑ वीहि॒ प्रस्थि॑तं सो॒म्यं मधु॒ पिबाग्नी॑ध्रा॒त्तव॑ भा॒गस्य॑ तृप्णुहि ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बुद्धिमान् अग्नि! इस यज्ञस्थल में देवों को बुलाकर उनके निमित्त यज्ञ करो. हे देवों को बुलाने वाले अग्नि! तुम हमारे हव्य की इच्छा करते हुए तीन स्थानों पर बैठो, उत्तर वेदी पर रखे हुए सोमरूप मधु को स्वीकार करो एवं अग्नीघ्र के पास से अपना हिस्सा लेकर तृप्त बनो. (४)
EN English Translation
O wise agni! Call the gods to this place of worship and perform yajna for them. O agni that calls the gods! You sit in three places, wishing for our greetings, accept Somrup Madhu on the north altar and be satisfied with your share from the agneeghar. (4)
ए॒ष स्य ते॑ त॒न्वो॑ नृम्ण॒वर्ध॑नः॒ सह॒ ओजः॑ प्र॒दिवि॑ बा॒ह्वोर्हि॒तः । तुभ्यं॑ सु॒तो म॑घव॒न्तुभ्य॒माभृ॑त॒स्त्वम॑स्य॒ ब्राह्म॑णा॒दा तृ॒पत्पि॑ब ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे धनस्वामी इंद्र! जो सोम तुम्हारे शरीर में बल बढ़ाता है, जिसके कारण प्राचीन देव के हाथों में शत्रुओं को हराने वाला बल उत्पन्न होता है, वही सोम तुम्हारे लिए निचोड़ा गया है. तुम इस ऋत्विक् ब्राह्मण के पास आकर तृप्तिपूर्वक सोम पिओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O Dhanaswami Indra! The mon who increases the force in your body, due to which the force that defeats enemies is produced in the hands of the ancient god, the same mon has been squeezed for you. You come to this Ritwik Brahmin and drink som satiatingly. (5)
जु॒षेथां॑ य॒ज्ञं बोध॑तं॒ हव॑स्य मे स॒त्तो होता॑ नि॒विदः॑ पू॒र्व्या अनु॑ । अच्छा॒ राजा॑ना॒ नम॑ एत्या॒वृतं॑ प्रशा॒स्त्रादा पि॑बतं सो॒म्यं मधु॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभासंपन्न मित्र एवं वरुण! मेरे इस यज्ञ में आओ, इसका सेवन करो एवं मेरा आह्वान सुनो. यज्ञ में बैठा हुआ होता प्राचीन स्तुतियां बोलता है. ऋत्विजों द्वारा घिरा हुआ अन्न तुम्हारे सामने है. इस मधुर सोमरस को प्रशास्ता के समीप आकर पिओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O grand friend and Varun! Come to this yagna of mine, consume it and listen to my call. Sitting in the yajna speaks ancient praises. The food surrounded by the Ritvijs is before you. Drink this sweet somras by approaching the administrator. (6)
