सोमा॑पूषणा॒ जन॑ना रयी॒णां जन॑ना दि॒वो जन॑ना पृथि॒व्याः । जा॒तौ विश्व॑स्य॒ भुव॑नस्य गो॒पौ दे॒वा अ॑कृण्वन्न॒मृत॑स्य॒ नाभि॑म् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम एवं पूषा! तुम धन, स्वर्ग एवं धरती के जनक हो. तुम उत्पन्न होते ही संपूर्ण भुवन के रक्षक बने. देवों ने तुम्हें अमरता का केंद्रबिंदु बनाया. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon and Pusha! You are the father of wealth, heaven and earth. As soon as you were born, you became the protector of the whole of Bhuvan. The gods made you the centerpiece of immortality. (1)
इ॒मौ दे॒वौ जाय॑मानौ जुषन्ते॒मौ तमां॑सि गूहता॒मजु॑ष्टा । आ॒भ्यामिन्द्रः॑ प॒क्वमा॒मास्व॒न्तः सो॑मापू॒षभ्यां॑ जनदु॒स्रिया॑सु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सब देवों ने सोम एवं पूषादेव के जन्म लेते ही उनकी सेवा की. ये दोनों असेव्य अंधकार का नाश करते हैं. इंद्र इनके साथ मिलकर गायों के थन में दूध उत्पन्न करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
All the gods served Som and Pushadeva as soon as they were born, both of whom destroy the darkness. Indra, along with them, produces milk in the cows' trunks. (2)
सोमा॑पूषणा॒ रज॑सो वि॒मानं॑ स॒प्तच॑क्रं॒ रथ॒मवि॑श्वमिन्वम् । वि॒षू॒वृतं॒ मन॑सा यु॒ज्यमा॑नं॒ तं जि॑न्वथो वृषणा॒ पञ्च॑रश्मिम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कामवर्षक सोम एवं पूषा! तुम संसार के परिच्छेदक, सात पहियों वाले, संसार द्वारा अविभाज्य, सब जगह गमनशील, इच्छा करते ही चलने वाले एवं पांच रश्मियों वाले रथ हमारी ओर हांकते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O karyaks Som and Pusha! You are the reflectors of the world, the seven-wheeled, inseparable by the world, moving everywhere, moving at will and driving the chariots of the five rashmis towards us. (3)
दि॒व्य१॒॑न्यः सद॑नं च॒क्र उ॒च्चा पृ॑थि॒व्याम॒न्यो अध्य॒न्तरि॑क्षे । ताव॒स्मभ्यं॑ पुरु॒वारं॑ पुरु॒क्षुं रा॒यस्पोषं॒ वि ष्य॑तां॒ नाभि॑म॒स्मे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम व पूषा! तुम में से एक ने उन्नत स्वर्गलोक को अपना निवास बनाया है, दूसरा ओषधि रूप से धरती तथा चंद्र रूप से आकाश में रहता है. तुम हमारे हिस्से का पशुरूपी धन हमें दो, जो अनेक लोगों द्वारा वरणीय एवं अधिक कीर्तिसंपन्न है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon and Pusha! One of you has made the advanced paradise his abode, the other remains in the earth in medicine and in the sky in the moon. You give us our share of animal wealth, which is preferred and more rewarded by many. (4)
विश्वा॑न्य॒न्यो भुव॑ना ज॒जान॒ विश्व॑म॒न्यो अ॑भि॒चक्षा॑ण एति । सोमा॑पूषणा॒वव॑तं॒ धियं॑ मे यु॒वाभ्यां॒ विश्वाः॒ पृत॑ना जयेम ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम और पूषा! तुम में से एक ने समस्त प्राणियों को उत्पन्न किया है, दूसरा सबका निरीक्षण करता हुआ जाता है. तुम हमारे यज्ञकर्म की रक्षा करो. तुम्हारी सहायता से हम शत्रुओं की पूरी सेना को जीत लें. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon and Pusha! One of you has created all beings, the other observes all. You protect our yajnakarma. With your help, let us conquer the entire army of enemies. (5)
धियं॑ पू॒षा जि॑न्वतु विश्वमि॒न्वो र॒यिं सोमो॑ रयि॒पति॑र्दधातु । अव॑तु दे॒व्यदि॑तिरन॒र्वा बृ॒हद्व॑देम वि॒दथे॑ सु॒वीराः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विश्व को प्रसन्न करने वाले पूषा हमारे कर्मो को पूर्ण करें. धन के स्वामी सोम हमें धन दें. विरोधरहित अदिति देवी हमारी रक्षा करें. उत्तम पुत्र-पौत्र प्राप्त करके हम इस यज्ञ में बहुत सी स्तुतियां बोलेंगे. (६)
EN English Translation
May the worshipers who please the world complete our deeds. Mon, the lord of wealth, give us wealth. Let the protestless Aditi Devi protect us. Having received the best son and grandson, we will speak many praises in this yajna. (6)
