वायो॒ ये ते॑ सह॒स्रिणो॒ रथा॑स॒स्तेभि॒रा ग॑हि । नि॒युत्वा॒न्सोम॑पीतये ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम्हारे पास जो हजारों रथ हैं, उनके द्वारा नियुतगणों के साथ सोमरस पीने के लिए आओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O air! Come to drink somras with the appointees of the thousands of chariots that you have. (1)
नि॒युत्वा॑न्वाय॒वा ग॑ह्य॒यं शु॒क्रो अ॑यामि ते । गन्ता॑सि सुन्व॒तो गृ॒हम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! नियुतों सहित आओ. यह दीप्तिमान् सोम तुम्हारे लिए है. तुम सोमरस निचोड़ने वाले यजमान के घर जाते हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O air! Come with the employables. This Deeptiman som is for you. You go to the house of the host who squeezes the Somras. (2)
शु॒क्रस्या॒द्य गवा॑शिर॒ इन्द्र॑वायू नि॒युत्व॑तः । आ या॑तं॒ पिब॑तं नरा ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेता इंद्र और वायु! तुम आज नियुतों के साथ गव्य मिले सोम पीने के लिए आओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O leader Indra and Air! You come to drink the som you met gavya with the appointed ones today. (3)
अ॒यं वां॑ मित्रावरुणा सु॒तः सोम॑ ऋतावृधा । ममेदि॒ह श्रु॑तं॒ हव॑म् ॥ (४)

हे यज्ञवर्द्धक मित्र एवं वरुण! तुम्हारे लिए यह सोम निचोड़ा गया है. तुम हमारी पुकार सुनो. (४)
EN English Translation
O sacrificial friend and Varuna! For you it has been som squeezed. You hear our call. (4)
राजा॑ना॒वन॑भिद्रुहा ध्रु॒वे सद॑स्युत्त॒मे । स॒हस्र॑स्थूण आसाते ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शत्रुरहित एवं दीप्तिमान् मित्र व वरुण! ध्रुव, ऊंचे और हजार खंभों वाले इस स्थान में बैठो. (५)
EN English Translation
Without enemies and bright friends and Varuna! Sit in this place with poles, high and thousand pillars. (5)
ता स॒म्राजा॑ घृ॒तासु॑ती आदि॒त्या दानु॑न॒स्पती॑ । सचे॑ते॒ अन॑वह्वरम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सबके शासक, घृत रूपी अन्न का भोजन करने वाले, अदितिपुत्र व दानशील मित्र तथा वरुण यजमान की सेवा करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The rulers of all, the eaters of the food in the form of disgust, the sons of Aditi and the danshil friends and Varuna serve the host. (6)
गोम॑दू॒ षु ना॑स॒त्याश्वा॑वद्यातमश्विना । व॒र्ती रु॑द्रा नृ॒पाय्य॑म् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सत्यवादी अश्विनीकुमारो एवं रुद्रो! यज्ञ के नेता देवों के पीने योग्य सोम को गायों तथा अश्वों से युक्त करके अपने मार्ग से लाओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O truthful Ashwinikumaro and Rudra! The leader of the yajna, bring the drinkable mon of the devas from your way by containing cows and horses. (7)
न यत्परो॒ नान्त॑र आद॒धर्ष॑द्वृषण्वसू । दुः॒शंसो॒ मर्त्यो॑ रि॒पुः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे धनवर्षक अश्चिनीकुमारो! हमें ऐसा धन दो, जिसे न दूरवर्ती और न समीपवर्ती शन्रु मनुष्य चुरा सके. (८)
EN English Translation
O rich year ashchinikumaro! Give us money that neither remote nor near-term humans can steal. (8)
ता न॒ आ वो॑ळ्हमश्विना र॒यिं पि॒शङ्ग॑संदृशम् । धिष्ण्या॑ वरिवो॒विद॑म् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जानने योग्य अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम हमारे पास नाना रूप एवं धनलाभकारी पशु लाओ. (९)
EN English Translation
It's worth knowing! You bring us various forms and rich animals. (9)
इन्द्रो॑ अ॒ङ्ग म॒हद्भ॒यम॒भी षदप॑ चुच्यवत् । स हि स्थि॒रो विच॑र्षणिः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र पराभवकारी महान् भय दूर करते हैं, इसलिए वे अचंचल एवं विक्वदरष्टा हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
Indra defeaters remove great fears, so they are achakchal and vikvadarastha. (10)
इन्द्र॑श्च मृ॒ळया॑ति नो॒ न नः॑ प॒श्चाद॒घं न॑शत् । भ॒द्रं भ॑वाति नः पु॒रः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र यदि हमें सुखी रखेंगे तो पाप हमारे समीप नहीं आएगा एवं हमारे सम्मुख कल्याण उपस्थित होगा. (११)
EN English Translation
If Indra keeps us happy, sin will not come near us and welfare will appear before us. (11)
इन्द्र॒ आशा॑भ्य॒स्परि॒ सर्वा॑भ्यो॒ अभ॑यं करत् । जेता॒ शत्रू॒न्विच॑र्षणिः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शत्रुओं को जीतने वाले एवं मेधावी इंद्र हमें चारों दिशाओं से भयरहित करें. (१२)
EN English Translation
May indra, who conquers the enemies and the brilliant, make us fearless from all four directions. (12)
विश्वे॑ देवास॒ आ ग॑त शृणु॒ता म॑ इ॒मं हव॑म् । एदं ब॒र्हिर्नि षी॑दत ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विश्वेदेवो! यहां आओ, मेरी पुकार सुनो एवं इस कुश पर बैठो. (१३)
EN English Translation
O vishwadevo! Come here, listen to my call and sit on this kush. (13)
ती॒व्रो वो॒ मधु॑माँ अ॒यं शु॒नहो॑त्रेषु मत्स॒रः । ए॒तं पि॑बत॒ काम्य॑म् ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विश्वैदेवो! तेज नशे वाला, रसयुक्त व प्रसन्नता देने वाला यह सोम हम गृत्समदवंशीय ऋषियों के पास है. इस सुंदर सोम को पिओ. (१४)
EN English Translation
O you world! This is a sharply drunk, juicy and cheerful mon with us gritsmadvanshi rishis. Drink this beautiful mon. (14)
इन्द्र॑ज्येष्ठा॒ मरु॑द्गणा॒ देवा॑सः॒ पूष॑रातयः । विश्वे॒ मम॑ श्रुता॒ हव॑म् ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मरुद्गण हमारी पुकार सुनें. उन में इंद्र सबसे बड़े हैं और पूषा उन्हें दान देते हैं. (१५)
EN English Translation
The deserts hear our call. Indra is the eldest of them and Pusha donates to them. (15)
अम्बि॑तमे॒ नदी॑तमे॒ देवि॑तमे॒ सर॑स्वति । अ॒प्र॒श॒स्ता इ॑व स्मसि॒ प्रश॑स्तिमम्ब नस्कृधि ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे माताओं, नदियों तथा देवियों में उत्तम सरस्वती! हम धनरहितों को धनी बनाओ. (१६)
EN English Translation
O mother, the best saraswati among the rivers and the goddesses! Let us make the wealthy rich. (16)
त्वे विश्वा॑ सरस्वति श्रि॒तायूं॑षि दे॒व्याम् । शु॒नहो॑त्रेषु मत्स्व प्र॒जां दे॑वि दिदिड्ढि नः ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे तेजस्वी सरस्वती! सब अन्न तुम्हारे आश्रय में है. हे देवी! तुम शुनहोत्र यज्ञों में सोम पीकर प्रसन्न बनो तथा हमें पुत्र दो. (१७)
EN English Translation
O stunning Saraswati! All the grain is in your shelter. O Goddess! Be happy to drink som in the Shunhotra yajnas and give us sons. (17)
इ॒मा ब्रह्म॑ सरस्वति जु॒षस्व॑ वाजिनीवति । या ते॒ मन्म॑ गृत्सम॒दा ऋ॑तावरि प्रि॒या दे॒वेषु॒ जुह्व॑ति ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अन्न एवं जल से युक्त सरस्वती! इन हव्यों को स्वीकार करो. हम गृत्समदवंशी ऋषियों ने यह माननीय एवं देवों का प्रिय हव्य तुम्हें दिया है. (१८)
EN English Translation
O Saraswati with food and water! Accept these things. We, the Gritsamdvanshi rishis, have given you this honourable and dear heart of the gods. (18)
प्रेतां॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॑ श॒म्भुवा॑ यु॒वामिदा वृ॑णीमहे । अ॒ग्निं च॑ हव्य॒वाह॑नम् ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सुखपूर्वक यज्ञ पूर्ण करने वाले धरती-आकाश! आओ. हम तुम्हारी एवं हव्यवाहन अन्नि की प्रार्थना करते हैं. (१९)
EN English Translation
O earth and sky that gladly complete the yajna! Come. We pray to you and to Havavahana Anni. (19)
द्यावा॑ नः पृथि॒वी इ॒मं सि॒ध्रम॒द्य दि॑वि॒स्पृश॑म् । य॒ज्ञं दे॒वेषु॑ यच्छताम् ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
धरती और आकाश स्वर्ग आदि के साधक तथा देवों के समीप जाने वाले हैं. वे हमारा यह यज्ञ देवों के समीप ले जावें. (२०)
EN English Translation
Earth and sky are going to approach the seekers and gods of heaven etc. Let them take our yajna near the gods. (20)
आ वा॑मु॒पस्थ॑मद्रुहा दे॒वाः सी॑दन्तु य॒ज्ञियाः॑ । इ॒हाद्य सोम॑पीतये ॥ (२१)

हे शत्रुरहित धरती और आकाश! यज्ञ योग्य देवता आज सोमपान के लिए तुम्हारे पास बैठे. (२१)
EN English Translation
O enemyless earth and sky! The sacrificial deity sat next to you for Sompan today. (21)
