अ॒भि तष्टे॑व दीधया मनी॒षामत्यो॒ न वा॒जी सु॒धुरो॒ जिहा॑नः । अ॒भि प्रि॒याणि॒ मर्मृ॑श॒त्परा॑णि क॒वीँरि॑च्छामि सं॒दृशे॑ सुमे॒धाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोता! बढ़ई जिस प्रकार लकड़ी का सुधार करता है, उसी प्रकार तुम इंद्र की स्तुति को सभी प्रकार दीप्त करो. सुंदर जुए में जुते हुए एवं वेगशाली घोड़े के समान यज्ञकर्म में संलग्न होकर एवं इंद्र के अतिशय प्रियकमों का स्मरण करता हुआ उत्तम बुद्धि वाला मैं उन लोगों को देखना चाहता हूं जो पूर्वकाल में किए गए यज्ञों के कारण स्वर्ग पा गए हैं. EN English Translation
This is the hymn! Just as the carpenter improves the wood, so you should all praise Indra. Gambling in beautiful gambling and engaged in yajnakarma like a fast horse and remembering indra's most beloved, I want to see those with good intellect who have attained heaven because of the yajnas performed in the past. (1)
इ॒नोत पृ॑च्छ॒ जनि॑मा कवी॒नां म॑नो॒धृतः॑ सु॒कृत॑स्तक्षत॒ द्याम् । इ॒मा उ॑ ते प्र॒ण्यो॒३॒॑ वर्ध॑माना॒ मनो॑वाता॒ अध॒ नु धर्म॑णि ग्मन् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सुकृत कमों द्वारा व भूमि को पाने वालों के जन्म के विषय में गुरुओं से पूछो. वे मन के समय एवं शुभ कर्मो की सहायता से स्वर्ग को प्राप्त हुए हैं. इस यज्ञ में तुम्हें लक्ष्य करके कही गई स्तुतियां मन की गति के समान बढ़ रही हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Ask the gurus about the birth of those who received the land through good deeds. They have attained bliss with the help of time and good deeds of the mind. In this yajna, the praises said by aiming at you are increasing like the speed of the mind. (2)
नि षी॒मिदत्र॒ गुह्या॒ दधा॑ना उ॒त क्ष॒त्राय॒ रोद॑सी॒ सम॑ञ्जन् । सं मात्रा॑भिर्ममि॒रे ये॒मुरु॒र्वी अ॒न्तर्म॒ही समृ॑ते॒ धाय॑से धुः ॥ (३)

इस भूलोक में सर्वत्र गूढ़ कर्म करने वाले कवियों ने बल पाने के लिए धरती एवं आकाश को सुशोभित किया है. उन्होंने धरती एवं आकाश की सीमा निश्चित की है. परस्पर संगत, विस्तीर्ण एवं महान् धरती-आकाश को मध्यवर्ती अंतरिक्ष द्वारा धारण किया है. (३)
EN English Translation
In this bhulok, the poets who have done deep deeds everywhere have beautified the earth and the sky to gain strength. They have set the boundaries of the earth and the sky. The inter-compatible, vast and great earth-sky is occupied by intermediate space. (3)
आ॒तिष्ठ॑न्तं॒ परि॒ विश्वे॑ अभूष॒ञ्छ्रियो॒ वसा॑नश्चरति॒ स्वरो॑चिः । म॒हत्तद्वृष्णो॒ असु॑रस्य॒ नामा वि॒श्वरू॑पो अ॒मृता॑नि तस्थौ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
समस्त कवियों ने रथ में बैठे हुए इंद्र को सभी प्रकार से अलंकृत किया है. अपनी प्रभा से प्रकाशित इंद्र दीप्ति से ढके हुए स्थित हैं. कामवर्षी एवं प्राणवान् इंद्र के कर्म विचित्र हैं, क्योंकि उन्होंने नाना रूप धारण करके जलों का आश्रय लिया है. (४)
EN English Translation
All the poets have adorned Indra in all respects while sitting in the chariot. Indra illuminated with his aura is located covered with radiance. The deeds of the karyavashi and pranavan indra are strange, because they have taken various forms and have taken shelter in the waters. (4)
असू॑त॒ पूर्वो॑ वृष॒भो ज्याया॑नि॒मा अ॑स्य शु॒रुधः॑ सन्ति पू॒र्वीः । दिवो॑ नपाता वि॒दथ॑स्य धी॒भिः क्ष॒त्रं रा॑जाना प्र॒दिवो॑ दधाथे ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
कामवर्षी, चिरंतन एवं सर्वश्रेष्ठ इंद्र ने प्यास को रोकने वाले एवं प्रभूत जल को बनाया था. स्वर्ग के स्वामी एवं पवित्र करने वाले इंद्र एवं वरुण तेजस्वी यज्ञकर्ता की स्तुतियों के कारण प्रसन्न होकर धन धारण करते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Karyanshi, Chirantan and Best Indra had created the water that prevented thirst and created the strong water. Indra and Varuna, the lord of heaven and the sanctifier, are pleased with the praises of the brilliant yagyakarta and hold wealth. (5)
त्रीणि॑ राजाना वि॒दथे॑ पु॒रूणि॒ परि॒ विश्वा॑नि भूषथः॒ सदां॑सि । अप॑श्य॒मत्र॒ मन॑सा जग॒न्वान्व्र॒ते ग॑न्ध॒र्वाँ अपि॑ वा॒युके॑शान् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे तेजस्वी इंद्र एवं वरुण! इस यज्ञ में विस्तृत एवं सोमरस आदि से पूर्ण तीन सवनों को भली-भांति अलंकृत करो. हे इंद्र! मैंने यज्ञ में वायु के कारण बिखरे हुए बालों वाले गंधर्वो को देखा था. इससे सिद्ध है कि तुम यज्ञ में गए थे. (६)
EN English Translation
O stunning Indra and Varun! In this yajna, decorate the three saans well, complete with elaborate and somras, etc. O Indra! I had seen the Gandharvo with hair scattered due to the wind in the yagna. This proves that you went to the yagna. (6)
तदिन्न्व॑स्य वृष॒भस्य॑ धे॒नोरा नाम॑भिर्ममिरे॒ सक्म्यं॒ गोः । अ॒न्यद॑न्यदसु॒र्यं१॒॑ वसा॑ना॒ नि मा॒यिनो॑ ममिरे रू॒पम॑स्मिन् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो यजमान कामवर्षी इंद्र के निमित्त गौ नाम वाली धेनु से हव्य दूध दुहते हैं, वे स्वर्ग प्राप्त करके कवि बनते हैं. असुरों का नया बल धारण करके उन मायावियों ने अपना-अपना रूप इंद्र को अर्पित किया. (७)
EN English Translation
Those who milk the havya milk from the dhenu with the name gau for the sake of the host kamvarshi Indra, they attain heaven and become poets. Holding the new force of the asuras, those Mayavis offered their form to Indra. (7)
तदिन्न्व॑स्य सवि॒तुर्नकि॑र्मे हिर॒ण्ययी॑म॒मतिं॒ यामशि॑श्रेत् । आ सु॑ष्टु॒ती रोद॑सी विश्वमि॒न्वे अपी॑व॒ योषा॒ जनि॑मानि वव्रे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
समस्त विश्व के निर्माता इंद्र की सुवर्णमयी दीप्ति को कोई सीमित नहीं कर सकता. इस स्तुति के आश्रय इंद्र इस शोभन स्तुति से प्रसन्न होकर सबको तृप्त करने वाले धरती-आकाश का इस प्रकार आलिंगन करते हैं, जिस तरह माता अपने बच्चे को छाती से लगाती है. (८)
EN English Translation
No one can limit indra's golden glow, the creator of the whole world. Indra, the refuge of this praise, is pleased with this adornment and embraces the earth-sky that satisfies everyone in such a way that the mother puts her child with her chest. (8)
यु॒वं प्र॒त्नस्य॑ साधथो म॒हो यद्दैवी॑ स्व॒स्तिः परि॑ णः स्यातम् । गो॒पाजि॑ह्वस्य त॒स्थुषो॒ विरू॑पा॒ विश्वे॑ पश्यन्ति मा॒यिनः॑ कृ॒तानि॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र एवं वरुण! तुम दोनों स्तोता का कल्याण करो, उसे दैवी कल्याण दो तथा हमारी सभी प्रकार रक्षा करो. सभी डरे हुए देवों को अभय वाणी सुनाने वाले व स्थिरतर इंद्र नाना रूप कर्मो को देखते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra and Varuna! You two do good to the stotha, give him divine welfare and protect us in all respects. All the scared gods who recite the voice of abhaya and the steady Indra see the various forms of karma. (9)
शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम् ॥ (१०)

धन प्राप्ति वाले संग्राम में उत्साहपूर्ण, धनवान्, सकल विश्व के नेता, स्तुतियां सुनने वाले, शत्रुओं को भयंकर, युद्ध में राक्षसविनाशकारी एवं शत्रुओं के धन के विजेता इंद्र को हम रक्षा के लिए बुलाते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
We call indra, who is enthusiastic in the battle for wealth, the leader of the world, the leader of the world, the leader of the world, the hearer of praises, the fiercest of the enemies, the destroyer of the enemies, the demon destroyer in the war and the winner of the wealth of the enemies. (10)
