इन्द्र॑ त्वा वृष॒भं व॒यं सु॒ते सोमे॑ हवामहे । स पा॑हि॒ मध्वो॒ अन्ध॑सः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कामवर्षी इंद्र! निचोड़े हुए सोम को पीने के लिए हम तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. तुम मादक एवं अन्नरूपी सोम को पिओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O karyati Indra! We call you to drink the squeezed mon. You drink narcotics and anomorphic mon. (1)
इन्द्र॑ क्रतु॒विदं॑ सु॒तं सोमं॑ हर्य पुरुष्टुत । पिबा वृ॑षस्व॒ तातृ॑पिम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! इस बुद्धिवर्धक एवं निचोड़े गए सोम को पीने की अभिलाषा करो. हे बहुतों द्वारा स्तुति किए गए इंद्र! इस तृप्तिदायक सोम को पिओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Desire to drink this witful and squeezed mon. O Indra praised by many! Drink this satiating mon. (2)
इन्द्र॒ प्र णो॑ धि॒तावा॑नं य॒ज्ञं विश्वे॑भिर्दे॒वेभिः॑ । ति॒र स्त॑वान विश्पते ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति किए जाते हुए एवं मरुतों के स्वामी इंद्र! यज्ञ के योग्य समस्त देवों के साथ मिलकर तुम हमारा यह हवि वाला यज्ञ विशेषरूप से बढ़ाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra, the lord of the maruts, being praised and the lord of the maruts! Together with all the deities worthy of the yajna, you should specially increase this yajna of ours. (3)
इन्द्र॒ सोमाः॑ सु॒ता इ॒मे तव॒ प्र य॑न्ति सत्पते । क्षयं॑ च॒न्द्रास॒ इन्द॑वः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सज्जनों के स्वामी इंद्र! प्रसन्नता देने वाला, दीप्त, निचोड़ा गया एवं हमारे द्वारा तुम्हें दिया गया सोम तुम्हारे उदर में जाता है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Lord of the Gentlemen Indra! The pleasing, the bright, the squeezed, and the mon we have given you goes into your stomach. (4)
द॒धि॒ष्वा ज॒ठरे॑ सु॒तं सोम॑मिन्द्र॒ वरे॑ण्यम् । तव॑ द्यु॒क्षास॒ इन्द॑वः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सबके द्वारा वरण करने योग्य, निचोड़े गए, दीप्त एवं अपने साथ स्वर्ग में रहने वाले सोम को अपने उदर में धारण करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Hold in your belly the soma, which is worthy of choice, squeezed, bright and lives with you in heaven. (5)
गिर्व॑णः पा॒हि नः॑ सु॒तं मधो॒र्धारा॑भिरज्यसे । इन्द्र॒ त्वादा॑त॒मिद्यशः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुतियों द्वारा प्रशंसा योग्य इंद्र! तुम मदकारक सोम की धाराओं से तृप्त होते हो. हमारे द्वारा निचोड़े गए सोम को पिओ. तुम्हारे द्वारा बढ़ाया हुआ अन्न ही हमें प्राप्त होता है. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra worthy of praise by the praises! You are satisfied with the streams of the madman soma. Drink the mon squeezed by us. We get only the grain you have increased. (6)
अ॒भि द्यु॒म्नानि॑ व॒निन॒ इन्द्रं॑ सचन्ते॒ अक्षि॑ता । पी॒त्वी सोम॑स्य वावृधे ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यजमान का ह्युतियुक्त व क्षयरहित सोमादि हवि चारों ओर से इंद्र को प्राप्त है. इंद्र सोम को पीकर बढ़ते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
Indra receives the hygienic and decay-free somadi havi of the host from all around. Indra grows by drinking som. (7)
अ॒र्वा॒वतो॑ न॒ आ ग॑हि परा॒वत॑श्च वृत्रहन् । इ॒मा जु॑षस्व नो॒ गिरः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वृत्रनाशक इंद्र! समीपवर्ती अथवा दूरवर्ती स्थान से हमारे सामने आओ और इन स्तुतियों को स्वीकार करो. (८)
EN English Translation
O the conqueror Indra! Come before us from a nearby or distant place and accept these praises. (8)
यद॑न्त॒रा प॑रा॒वत॑मर्वा॒वतं॑ च हू॒यसे॑ । इन्द्रे॒ह तत॒ आ ग॑हि ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम दूरवर्ती, निकटवर्ती अथवा मध्यवर्ती स्थान से बुलाए जाते हो. सोमपान के लिए वहां से इस यज्ञ में आओ. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are called from a distant, nearby or intermediate place. Come to this yagna from there for Sompan. (9)
