अ॒ग्निर्होता॑ नो अध्व॒रे वा॒जी सन्परि॑ णीयते । दे॒वो दे॒वेषु॑ य॒ज्ञियः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवों को बुलाने वाले, इंद्रादि देवों के मध्य तेजस्वी एवं यज्ञ के योग्य अग्नि शीघ्रगामी अश्च के समान हमारे यज्ञ में चारों ओर से लाए जाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The indradi, who call upon the gods, are brought from all sides in our yajna like the quick asa and the agni worthy of the yajna among the gods. (1)
परि॑ त्रिवि॒ष्ट्य॑ध्व॒रं यात्य॒ग्नी र॒थीरि॑व । आ दे॒वेषु॒ प्रयो॒ दध॑त् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यजमानों द्वारा इंद्रादि देवों को दिया गया हव्य धारण करते हुए अग्नि दिन में तीन बार रथ में बैठे पुरुष के समान चारों ओर से यज्ञ में जाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Wearing the havan given to the Indradi devas by the hosts, Agni goes to the yagna from all around like a man sitting in the chariot three times a day. (2)
परि॒ वाज॑पतिः क॒विर॒ग्निर्ह॒व्यान्य॑क्रमीत् । दध॒द्रत्ना॑नि दा॒शुषे॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अन्नों का पालन करने वाले एवं मेधावी अग्नि हव्य देने वाले यजमान के लिए रमणीय धन देते हुए हव्यों को चारों ओर से घेरते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Those who follow the grains and give the bright agni cover the havyas from all sides, giving delightful money to the host. (3)
अ॒यं यः सृञ्ज॑ये पु॒रो दै॑ववा॒ते स॑मि॒ध्यते॑ । द्यु॒माँ अ॑मित्र॒दम्भ॑नः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो अग्नि देव वात के पुत्र सृजव के लिए पूर्व दिशा में प्रज्वलित होते हैं, वे शत्रुनाशक अग्नि दीप्ति धारण करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The agni god which is ignited in the east direction for the creation of the son of Vata, they wear the anti-hostile agni radii. (4)
अस्य॑ घा वी॒र ईव॑तो॒ऽग्नेरी॑शीत॒ मर्त्यः॑ । ति॒ग्मज॑म्भस्य मी॒ळ्हुषः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तुति करने में कुशल मनुष्य तीखे तेज वाले, अभिलषित फल देने वाले एवं गतिशील- अग्नि को वश में कर लें. (५)
EN English Translation
May men skilled in praising be able to subdue the agni, those with sharp, fast, bearing the desired fruit and the dynamic. (5)
तमर्व॑न्तं॒ न सा॑न॒सिम॑रु॒षं न दि॒वः शिशु॑म् । म॒र्मृ॒ज्यन्ते॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यजमान घोड़े के समान हव्य ढोने में समर्थ व आकाश के पुत्र सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी अग्नि की प्रतिदिन सेवा करें. (६)
EN English Translation
Be able to carry a havan like a host horse and serve the blazing agni like the sun, the son of the sky, every day. (6)
बोध॒द्यन्मा॒ हरि॑भ्यां कुमा॒रः सा॑हदे॒व्यः । अच्छा॒ न हू॒त उद॑रम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
राजा सहदेव के पुत्र कुमार ने जब हमसे दोनों घोड़ों को देने की बात कही थी, तब हम उन्हें ले आए थे. (७)
EN English Translation
When Kumar, the son of King Sahdev, told us to give both the horses, we brought them. (7)
उ॒त त्या य॑ज॒ता हरी॑ कुमा॒रात्सा॑हदे॒व्यात् । प्रय॑ता स॒द्य आ द॑दे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सहदेव के पुत्र कुमार से हमने पूजनीय एवं गतिशील घोड़ों को उसी दिन ले लिया था. (८)
EN English Translation
We had taken the revered and moving horses from Kumar, son of Sahdev, on the same day. (8)
ए॒ष वां॑ देवावश्विना कुमा॒रः सा॑हदे॒व्यः । दी॒र्घायु॑रस्तु॒ सोम॑कः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे तेजस्वी अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम्हें तृप्त करने वाला सहदेव का पुत्र कुमार सोमक राजा अधिक अवस्था वाला हो. (९)
EN English Translation
O stunning Ashwinikumaro! Sahadeva's son Kumar Somak Raja, who satisfies you, is of greater status. (9)
तं यु॒वं दे॑वावश्विना कुमा॒रं सा॑हदे॒व्यम् । दी॒र्घायु॑षं कृणोतन ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे तेजस्वी अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम सहदेव के पुत्र कुमार को दीर्घ आयु वाला बनाओ. (१०)
EN English Translation
O stunning Ashwinikumaro! You make Kumar, the son of Sahdev, a long-life-old man. (10)
