आ नः॑ स्तु॒त उप॒ वाजे॑भिरू॒ती इन्द्र॑ या॒हि हरि॑भिर्मन्दसा॒नः । ति॒रश्चि॑द॒र्यः सव॑ना पु॒रूण्या॑ङ्गू॒षेभि॑र्गृणा॒नः स॒त्यरा॑धाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्रसन्न, स्वामी, स्तुतियों द्वारा पूजित एवं सत्य-धन वाले इंद्र! तुम हमारी स्तुतियां सुनकर हमारी रक्षा के निमित्त अपने अश्वों की सहायता से हमारे अन्नपूर्ण यज्ञों में आओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O lord, Indra, worshipped by praises and blessed with truth! You hear our praises and come to our annapurna yagnas with the help of your horses for the sake of protecting us. (1)
आ हि ष्मा॒ याति॒ नर्य॑श्चिकि॒त्वान्हू॒यमा॑नः सो॒तृभि॒रुप॑ य॒ज्ञम् । स्वश्वो॒ यो अभी॑रु॒र्मन्य॑मानः सुष्वा॒णेभि॒र्मद॑ति॒ सं ह॑ वी॒रैः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मानवों के हितैषी एवं सर्वज्ञ इंद्र सोम निचोड़ने वाले ऋत्विजों द्वारा बुलाए जाने पर हमारे यज्ञ के निमित्त आवें. इंद्र सुंदर घोड़ों वाले, भयरहित, सोमरस निचोड़ने वालों द्वारा बुलाए गए एवं वीर मरुतों के साथ प्रसन्न रहते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
When called by the sages who squeeze Indra Som, who is human-friendly and omniscient, come for our yajna. Indra is pleased with the beautiful horses, the fearless, the somras called by the squeezers and the heroic maruts. (2)
श्रा॒वयेद॑स्य॒ कर्णा॑ वाज॒यध्यै॒ जुष्टा॒मनु॒ प्र दिशं॑ मन्द॒यध्यै॑ । उ॒द्वा॒वृ॒षा॒णो राध॑से॒ तुवि॑ष्मा॒न्कर॑न्न॒ इन्द्रः॑ सुती॒र्थाभ॑यं च ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! तुम इंद्र के कानों को स्तुतियां सुनाओ, जिससे इंद्र शक्तिशाली एवं सभी दिशाओं में परम प्रसन्न बन सकें. सोमरस पान से शक्तिशाली बने इंद्र धनप्राप्ति के लिए मुझ प्रार्थी को भयरहित करें. (३)
EN English Translation
This stotao! You should recite praises to Indra's ears, so that Indra may become powerful and supremely pleased in all directions. Make my applicant without fear for indra dhani, who became powerful with somras paan. (3)
अच्छा॒ यो गन्ता॒ नाध॑मानमू॒ती इ॒त्था विप्रं॒ हव॑मानं गृ॒णन्त॑म् । उप॒ त्मनि॒ दधा॑नो धु॒र्या॒३॒॑शून्स॒हस्रा॑णि श॒तानि॒ वज्र॑बाहुः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हाथ में वज्र धारण करने वाले इंद्र अपने वश में रहने वाले हजारों और सैकड़ों घोड़ों को रथ के जुए में जोड़ते हैं एवं रक्षा की याचना करने वाले, मेधावी एवं प्रसन्नता भरी स्तुतियां करने वाले यजमान के समीप जाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Indra, holding a thunderbolt in his hand, adds thousands and hundreds of horses under his control to the yoke of the chariot and approaches the host who pleads for protection, who makes bright and happy praises. (4)
त्वोता॑सो मघवन्निन्द्र॒ विप्रा॑ व॒यं ते॑ स्याम सू॒रयो॑ गृ॒णन्तः॑ । भे॒जा॒नासो॑ बृ॒हद्दि॑वस्य रा॒य आ॑का॒य्य॑स्य दा॒वने॑ पुरु॒क्षोः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति-योग्य, महान् दीप्ति वाले एवं अधिक अन्न वाले इंद्र! तुम्हारे द्वारा रक्षित, तुम्हारी स्तुति करने वाले हम मेधावी लोग तुम्हारे धन के पात्र बने हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O you of praise, the great-lit and the more grained Indra! Protected by you, we the meritorious people who praise you have become worthy of your wealth. (5)
