को व॑स्त्रा॒ता व॑सवः॒ को व॑रू॒ता द्यावा॑भूमी अदिते॒ त्रासी॑थां नः । सही॑यसो वरुण मित्र॒ मर्ता॒त्को वो॑ऽध्व॒रे वरि॑वो धाति देवाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वसुओ! तुम में रक्षा करने वाला कौन है एवं कौन दुःख दूर करने वाला है? हे अखंडनीय धरती आकाश! तुम हमारी रक्षा करो. हे इंद्र एवं ब्रह्मा! तुम पराभवकारी लोगों से हमें बचाओ. हे देवो! तुम में से कौन धन का दान करता है? (१)
EN English Translation
O Vasuo! Who among you is the protector and who will remove the suffering? O indivisible earth, the sky! You protect us. O Indra and Brahma! Save us from you losers. Oh, God! Who among you donates money? (1)
प्र ये धामा॑नि पू॒र्व्याण्यर्चा॒न्वि यदु॒च्छान्वि॑यो॒तारो॒ अमू॑राः । वि॒धा॒तारो॒ वि ते द॑धु॒रज॑स्रा ऋ॒तधी॑तयो रुरुचन्त द॒स्माः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो देव स्तुतिकर्ताओं को प्राचीन स्थान देते हैं, जो दुःखों को पृथक् करते हैं, जो मूढ़ताहीन हैं एवं अंधकार का नाश करते हैं, वे ही देव विधाता हैं एवं नित्य हमारी इच्छाएं पूरी करते हैं. सत्यकर्म वाले एवं दर्शनीय वे देव शोभित होते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The gods who give the praises the ancient place, who separate the sufferings, those who are foolish and destroy the darkness, they are the gods who are the vidhatas and always fulfill our desires. Those gods of truth and philosophy are adorned. (2)
प्र प॒स्त्या॒३॒॑मदि॑तिं॒ सिन्धु॑म॒र्कैः स्व॒स्तिमी॑ळे स॒ख्याय॑ दे॒वीम् । उ॒भे यथा॑ नो॒ अह॑नी नि॒पात॑ उ॒षासा॒नक्ता॑ करता॒मद॑ब्धे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम मित्रता प्राप्त करने के निमित्त सबके द्वारा गंतव्य देवमाता अदिति, सिंधु एवं स्वस्तिदेवी की मंत्रं द्वारा स्तुति करते हैं. धरती-आकाश हमारी भली-भांति रक्षा करें. रात एवं दिन के देव हमारी अभिलाषा पूर्ण करें. (३)
EN English Translation
We praise the destination Devmata Aditi, Sindhu and Swastidevi through mantras for the sake of friendship. Let the earth and the sky protect us well. May the Gods of night and day fulfill our desires. (3)
व्य॑र्य॒मा वरु॑णश्चेति॒ पन्था॑मि॒षस्पतिः॑ सुवि॒तं गा॒तुम॒ग्निः । इन्द्रा॑विष्णू नृ॒वदु॒ षु स्तवा॑ना॒ शर्म॑ नो यन्त॒मम॑व॒द्वरू॑थम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अर्यमा एवं वरुण हमारे लिए यज्ञ का मार्ग बताते हैं. हविरूप अन्न के स्वामी अग्नि हमें सुखकर गमन मार्ग दिखाते हैं. इंद्र एवं विष्णु भली प्रकार स्तुतियां सुनकर हमें पुत्र-पौत्रादि युक्त धन एवं शक्तिसंपन्न रमणीय सुख प्रदान करें. (४)
EN English Translation
Aryama and Varuna show the path of yajna for us. Fire, the lord of the havirup grain, shows us the way of the journey happily. May Indra and Vishnu, after listening to the praises well, give us the son-grandson riches and the delightful pleasures of power. (4)
आ पर्व॑तस्य म॒रुता॒मवां॑सि दे॒वस्य॑ त्रा॒तुर॑व्रि॒ भग॑स्य । पात्पति॒र्जन्या॒दंह॑सो नो मि॒त्रो मि॒त्रिया॑दु॒त न॑ उरुष्येत् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पर्वत, मरुद्गण तथा भग नामक देव से हम रक्षा की प्रार्थना करते हैं. स्वामी वरुण मानव संबंधी पाप से हमारी रक्षा करें. मित्र हमारी रक्षा हमको मित्र समझकर करें. (५)
EN English Translation
We pray for protection from the God of the mountain, the deserts and the Bhaga. May Lord Varuna protect us from human-related sin. Friends, protect us as friends. (5)
नू रो॑दसी॒ अहि॑ना बु॒ध्न्ये॑न स्तुवी॒त दे॑वी॒ अप्ये॑भिरि॒ष्टैः । स॒मु॒द्रं न सं॒चर॑णे सनि॒ष्यवो॑ घ॒र्मस्व॑रसो न॒द्यो॒३॒॑ अप॑ व्रन् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे द्यावा-पृथ्वी! जिस प्रकार धन चाहने वाला व्यक्ति सागर से उसके मध्य में जाने के लिए प्रार्थना करता है, उसी प्रकार हम भी इष्ट कार्य पूरा करने हेतु अहिर्बु्य के साथ तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. वे देव शब्द करती हुई नदियों को बहने योग्य बनावं. (६)
EN English Translation
This is the earth! Just as a person seeking wealth prays to go from the sea to its midst, so we also praise you with unobtrusiveness to accomplish the favored work. They should make the rivers flowing by saying the word God. (6)
दे॒वैर्नो॑ दे॒व्यदि॑ति॒र्नि पा॑तु दे॒वस्त्रा॒ता त्रा॑यता॒मप्र॑युच्छन् । न॒हि मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्य धा॒सिमर्हा॑मसि प्र॒मियं॒ सान्व॒ग्नेः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवमाता अदिति अन्य देवों के साथ हमारी रक्षा करें. इंद्र प्रमादहीन होकर हमारा पालन करें. मित्र, वरुण एवं अग्नि के सोमरूप अन्न की हम हिंसा नहीं कर सकते. हम उन्हें अनुषठानों द्वारा बढ़ावेंगे. (७)
EN English Translation
Devmata Aditi protect us along with other gods. Let Indra follow us without being arrogant. We cannot do violence to the friends, Varuna and The Somrupa food of Agni. We will extend them by the anushans. (7)
अ॒ग्निरी॑शे वस॒व्य॑स्या॒ग्निर्म॒हः सौभ॑गस्य । तान्य॒स्मभ्यं॑ रासते ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अग्नि धन एवं महान् सौभाग्य के स्वामी हैं. वे हमें धन एवं सौभाग्य प्रदान करें. (८)
EN English Translation
Fire is the master of wealth and great good fortune. They give us wealth and good fortune. (8)
उषो॑ मघो॒न्या व॑ह॒ सूनृ॑ते॒ वार्या॑ पु॒रु । अ॒स्मभ्यं॑ वाजिनीवति ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे धनस्वामिनी, प्रिय-सत्य-रूप वाली एवं अन्नवती उषा! तुम हमें अधिक मात्रा में शोभन धन दो. (९)
EN English Translation
O dhanaswamini, dear-truth-forming and annavati usha! You give us more amount of money. (9)
तत्सु नः॑ सवि॒ता भगो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । इन्द्रो॑ नो॒ राध॒सा ग॑मत् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सविता, भग, वरुण, मित्र, अर्यमा एवं इंद्र जिस धन के साथ आते हैं, वह धन वे सब हमें दें. (१०)
EN English Translation
Savita, Bhaga, Varuna, Friends, Aryama and Indra, the money they all come with, they all give us. (10)
