यदि॑न्द्र चित्र मे॒हनास्ति॒ त्वादा॑तमद्रिवः । राध॒स्तन्नो॑ विदद्वस उभयाह॒स्त्या भ॑र ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विचित्र-रूप वाले एवं वज्रधारी इंद्र! तुम्हारे पास देने के लिए विशाल संपत्ति है. हे धन देने वाले इंद्र! वह धन तुम हमें दोनों हाथों से दो. (१)
EN English Translation
O strange-looking and thunderbolt-clad Indra! You have huge property to give. O Indra, who gives money! That money you give us with both hands. (1)
यन्मन्य॑से॒ वरे॑ण्य॒मिन्द्र॑ द्यु॒क्षं तदा भ॑र । वि॒द्याम॒ तस्य॑ ते व॒यमकू॑पारस्य दा॒वने॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! जो अन्न तुम्हें उत्तम जान पड़ता हो, उसे हमें दो. हम उस शुभ अन्न को पाने के पात्र बनें. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Give us the grain that you like best. Let us deserve to get that auspicious food. (2)
यत्ते॑ दि॒त्सु प्र॒राध्यं॒ मनो॒ अस्ति॑ श्रु॒तं बृ॒हत् । तेन॑ दृ॒ळ्हा चि॑दद्रिव॒ आ वाजं॑ दर्षि सा॒तये॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम दान करने के विषय में बहुत प्रसिद्ध हो. हे वञ्रधारी! तुम सारपूर्ण अन्न देकर हमारे प्रति आदर दिखाते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are very famous about donating. O vajradhari! You show respect to us by giving us rich food. (3)
मंहि॑ष्ठं वो म॒घोनां॒ राजा॑नं चर्षणी॒नाम् । इन्द्र॒मुप॒ प्रश॑स्तये पू॒र्वीभि॑र्जुजुषे॒ गिरः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोता सेवा करने के विचार से हव्यरूप धन वालों में अतिशय पूज्य एवं प्रजाओं के नेता इंद्र की प्राचीन एवं नवीन स्तोत्रों द्वारा स्तुति करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
With the idea of serving the hymns, the most revered and the leaders of the people among the people of the wealth, praise Indra through ancient and new hymns. (4)
अस्मा॒ इत्काव्यं॒ वच॑ उ॒क्थमिन्द्रा॑य॒ शंस्य॑म् । तस्मा॑ उ॒ ब्रह्म॑वाहसे॒ गिरो॑ वर्ध॒न्त्यत्र॑यो॒ गिरः॑ शुम्भ॒न्त्यत्र॑यः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र के निमित्त ही ये काव्य, वचन, उक्थ एवं स्तुतियां बनाई गई हैं. स्तोत्रों को स्वीकार करने वाली उन्हीं इंद्र के समीप अत्रिवंशी ऋषि स्तोत्र बोलते हैं एवं तेजस्वी बनते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
It is on indra's behalf that these poems, words, verses and hymns have been made. Near the same Indra who accepts the hymns, the sage Atrivanshi speaks the hymns and becomes radiant. (5)
