प्र वो॑ म॒हे म॒तयो॑ यन्तु॒ विष्ण॑वे म॒रुत्व॑ते गिरि॒जा ए॑व॒याम॑रुत् । प्र शर्धा॑य॒ प्रय॑ज्यवे सुखा॒दये॑ त॒वसे॑ भ॒न्ददि॑ष्टये॒ धुनि॑व्रताय॒ शव॑से ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
एवयामरुत् नामक ऋषि की स्तुतियां मरुतों के स्वामी एवं शक्तिशाली, अतिशय यज्ञपात्र, शोभन आभरणों वाले, तेजस्वी, स्तुति-अभिलाषी एवं शीघ्रगामी मरुतों के पास जावें. (१)
EN English Translation
May the praises of the sage named Evyamaruta go to the masters of the maruts and to the powerful, the most sacrificial, the many abhyanpatras, the adorned, the glorious, the praise-seekers and the early maruts. (1)
प्र ये जा॒ता म॑हि॒ना ये च॒ नु स्व॒यं प्र वि॒द्मना॑ ब्रु॒वत॑ एव॒याम॑रुत् । क्रत्वा॒ तद्वो॑ मरुतो॒ नाधृषे॒ शवो॑ दा॒ना म॒ह्ना तदे॑षा॒मधृ॑ष्टासो॒ नाद्र॑यः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
एवयामरुत् ऋषि महान् विष्णु के साथ उत्पन्न होने वाले एवं यज्ञज्ञान के स्वयं ज्ञाता मरुतों की स्तुति करते हैं. हे मरुतो! तुम्हारा बल कर्मफल देने वाला एवं अपराजेय है. तुम पर्वतों के समान स्थिर हो. (२)
EN English Translation
The sage Avyamaruta praises the maruts who are born with the great Vishnu and who know themselves of yajnagyan. O Maruto! Your force is a work-giving and unbeatable. You are as stable as the mountains. (2)
प्र ये दि॒वो बृ॑ह॒तः शृ॑ण्वि॒रे गि॒रा सु॒शुक्वा॑नः सु॒भ्व॑ एव॒याम॑रुत् । न येषा॒मिरी॑ स॒धस्थ॒ ईष्ट॒ आँ अ॒ग्नयो॒ न स्ववि॑द्युतः॒ प्र स्य॒न्द्रासो॒ धुनी॑नाम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
एवयामरुत् ने स्तुतियों द्वारा उन मरुतों की उपासना की जो विस्तृत स्वर्ग से उपासकों की पुकार सुनते हैं, दीप्त एवं शोभन हैं, जिन्हें अपने स्थान से निकालने में कोई समर्थ नहीं है तथा अपने आप प्रकाशित होने वाली नदियों को जो प्रवाहशील बनाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Avayamrutta worshiped through the praises of the Maruts who hear the call of the worshippers from heaven, the bright and the adornment, whom no one is able to drive out of their place, and the rivers that are revealed by themselves that make the flowing. (3)
स च॑क्रमे मह॒तो निरु॑रुक्र॒मः स॑मा॒नस्मा॒त्सद॑स एव॒याम॑रुत् । य॒दायु॑क्त॒ त्मना॒ स्वादधि॒ ष्णुभि॒र्विष्प॑र्धसो॒ विम॑हसो॒ जिगा॑ति॒ शेवृ॑धो॒ नृभिः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विशाल गति वाले मरुद्गण विस्तृत एवं साधारण अंतरिक्ष से निकले हैं. एवयामरुत् उनसे आने की प्रार्थना करते हैं. मरुत् जब अपने आप चलने वाले घोड़े रथ में जोड़ते हैं, तब वे अद्वितीय, विशिष्ट बलयुक्त एवं सुख बढ़ाने वाले जान पड़ते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Large-speed deserts have come out of wide and ordinary space. Avyamrut prays to them to come. When the deserts add their own-moving horses to the chariot, they appear to be unique, with a special force and a pleasure booster. (4)
स्व॒नो न वोऽम॑वान्रेजय॒द्वृषा॑ त्वे॒षो य॒यिस्त॑वि॒ष ए॑व॒याम॑रुत् । येना॒ सह॑न्त ऋ॒ञ्जत॒ स्वरो॑चिषः॒ स्थार॑श्मानो हिर॒ण्ययाः॑ स्वायु॒धास॑ इ॒ष्मिणः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्वाधीन तेजयुक्त, स्थिर रशमियों वाले, सोने के गहनों वाले, शोभन आयुधधारी एवं अन्तस्वामी मरुतो! तुम्हारा शक्तिशाली, जल बरसाने वाला, तेजस्वी, गतिशील, बढ़ा हुआ एवं शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाला शब्द एवयामरुत् को कंपित न करे. (५)
EN English Translation
O free, sharp, with steady rush, with gold ornaments, a beautiful ordnance and an endowner, Maruto! Let not your powerful, water-raining, brilliant, dynamic, extended, and defeating enemies shake the avyamrut. (5)
अ॒पा॒रो वो॑ महि॒मा वृ॑द्धशवसस्त्वे॒षं शवो॑ऽवत्वेव॒याम॑रुत् । स्थाता॑रो॒ हि प्रसि॑तौ सं॒दृशि॒ स्थन॒ ते न॑ उरुष्यता नि॒दः शु॑शु॒क्वांसो॒ नाग्नयः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अपार महिमा वाले एवं अतिशय शक्तिशाली मरुतो! तुम्हारा बल एवयामरुत् की रक्षा करे. नियमबद्ध यज्ञ का ज्ञान कराने में तुम्हीं समर्थ हो एवं अग्नि के समान प्रज्वलित हो. तुम शत्रुओं से हमारी रक्षा करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O mortal of immense glory and most powerful! May your force protect the avyamrut. You are able to have knowledge of the regular yajna and be ignited like agni. Protect us from your enemies. (6)
ते रु॒द्रासः॒ सुम॑खा अ॒ग्नयो॑ यथा तुविद्यु॒म्ना अ॑वन्त्वेव॒याम॑रुत् । दी॒र्घं पृ॒थु प॑प्रथे॒ सद्म॒ पार्थि॑वं॒ येषा॒मज्मे॒ष्वा म॒हः शर्धां॒स्यद्भु॑तैनसाम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे रुद्रपुत्र एवं अग्नि के समान शोभन यज्ञों वाले मरुत् एवयामरुत् की रक्षा करें, जिनके कारण अंतरिक्षरूपी दीर्घ एवं विस्तृत गृह प्रसिद्ध हुआ है एवं जिन पापरहित मरुतों की गति में महान् बल है. (७)
EN English Translation
May the sons of Rudra and the Maruts, who perform beautiful yagya like fire protect Yamaruts, for whom the long and vast abode in the form of space is famous, and whose misdeed-less Maruts have great strength in movement. (7)
अ॒द्वे॒षो नो॑ मरुतो गा॒तुमेत॑न॒ श्रोता॒ हवं॑ जरि॒तुरे॑व॒याम॑रुत् । विष्णो॑र्म॒हः स॑मन्यवो युयोतन॒ स्मद्र॒थ्यो॒३॒॑ न दं॒सनाप॒ द्वेषां॑सि सनु॒तः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे द्वेषरहित मरुतो! तुम स्तोता एवं एवयामरुत् के गतिशील स्तोत्र को सुनने हेतु आओ और उसे सुनो. हे विष्णु के साथ यज्ञभाग पाने वाले मरुतो! योद्धा जिस प्रकार शत्रुओं को भगाता है, उसी प्रकार तुम हमारे मन में छिपे पापों को दूर करो. (८)
EN English Translation
O hatred-less maruto! You come to listen to the dynamic hymns of the devotees and the Avyamaruta. O Maruto who has attained the yagya with Vishnu! Just as the warrior drives away the enemies, so you remove the misdeeds hidden in our minds. (8)
गन्ता॑ नो य॒ज्ञं य॑ज्ञियाः सु॒शमि॒ श्रोता॒ हव॑मर॒क्ष ए॑व॒याम॑रुत् । ज्येष्ठा॑सो॒ न पर्व॑तासो॒ व्यो॑मनि यू॒यं तस्य॑ प्रचेतसः॒ स्यात॑ दु॒र्धर्त॑वो नि॒दः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञपात्र मरुतो! तुम हमारे यज्ञ को पूर्ण करने हेतु यहां आओ. हे विघ्नरहित मरुतो! तुम एवयामरुत् की पुकार सुनो. हे उत्तम धन संपन्न मरुतो! तुम अत्यंत विशाल पर्वत के समान अंतरिक्ष में रहकर निंदकों को वश में करो. (९)
EN English Translation
O Yagyapatra Maruto! You come here to complete our yajna. O godless maruto! You listen to the call of Avyamaruta. O the best rich Maruto! You subdue the cynics by staying in space like an extremely huge mountain. (9)
