मू॒र्धानं॑ दि॒वो अ॑र॒तिं पृ॑थि॒व्या वै॑श्वान॒रमृ॒त आ जा॒तम॒ग्निम् । क॒विं स॒म्राज॒मति॑थिं॒ जना॑नामा॒सन्ना पात्रं॑ जनयन्त दे॒वाः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोताओं ने स्वर्ग के शीश तुल्य, धरती पर चलने वाले, सभी जनों से संबंधित, यज्ञ के निमित्त उत्पन्न, मेधावी, तेजस्वी, यजमानों के यज्ञ के लिए सतत गमनशील, मुख तुल्य एवं रक्षक अग्नि को उत्पन्न किया. (१)
EN English Translation
The Psalms produced the shisha-like agni of heaven, walking on earth, belonging to all people, generated for the sake of yajna, meritorious, brilliant, continuously moving, facelike and protective agni for the yajna of hosts. (1)
नाभिं॑ य॒ज्ञानां॒ सद॑नं रयी॒णां म॒हामा॑हा॒वम॒भि सं न॑वन्त । वै॒श्वा॒न॒रं र॒थ्य॑मध्व॒राणां॑ य॒ज्ञस्य॑ के॒तुं ज॑नयन्त दे॒वाः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोतागण यज्ञ की नाभि, धन के निवासस्थान एवं महान् हव्य के आश्रय अग्नि की भली-भांति स्तुति करते हैं. देव यज्ञ का नियंत्रण करने वाले एवं ध्वजों के समान यज्ञ का ज्ञापन करने वाले वैश्वानर अग्नि को उत्पन्न करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The Stotagans praise the navel of the yajna, the abode of wealth and the shelter of the great human being. The god who controls the yagna and memots the yajna like a flag produces the Vaishnavar agni. (2)
त्वद्विप्रो॑ जायते वा॒ज्य॑ग्ने॒ त्वद्वी॒रासो॑ अभिमाति॒षाहः॑ । वैश्वा॑नर॒ त्वम॒स्मासु॑ धेहि॒ वसू॑नि राजन्स्पृह॒याय्या॑णि ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्रकाशयुक्त वैश्वानर अग्नि! हव्य धारण करने वाला व्यक्ति तुम्हारी कृपा से मेधावी बनता है एवं तुम्हारे वीर सेवक शत्रुओं का पराभव करते हैं. तुम हमें सबका अभिलषित धन दो. (३)
EN English Translation
O light-filled global agni! The person who wears the haavya becomes brilliant by your grace and your brave servants defeat the enemies. You give us all the money you want. (3)
त्वां विश्वे॑ अमृत॒ जाय॑मानं॒ शिशुं॒ न दे॒वा अ॒भि सं न॑वन्ते । तव॒ क्रतु॑भिरमृत॒त्वमा॑य॒न्वैश्वा॑नर॒ यत्पि॒त्रोरदी॑देः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दो अरणियों से पुत्र के समान उत्पन्न एवं मरणरहित अग्नि! सभी देव तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. हे वैश्वानर! जब तुम धरती-आकाश के मध्य प्रकाशित होते हो, तब यजमान तुम्हारे यज्ञों के द्वारा अमर पद पाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O agni born like a son from two arrows and without death! All gods praise you. O global! When you are illuminated between the earth and the sky, the hosts attain immortal positions through your sacrifices. (4)
वैश्वा॑नर॒ तव॒ तानि॑ व्र॒तानि॑ म॒हान्य॑ग्ने॒ नकि॒रा द॑धर्ष । यज्जाय॑मानः पि॒त्रोरु॒पस्थेऽवि॑न्दः के॒तुं व॒युने॒ष्वह्ना॑म् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वैश्वानर अग्नि! तुम्हारे प्रसिद्ध महान् कार्यो में कोई बाधा नहीं डाल सकता, वयोंकि तुमने धरती-आकाशरूपी माता-पिता की गोद में जन्म लेकर दिन का ज्ञान कराने वाले सूर्य को स्थापित किया. (५)
EN English Translation
O global agni! No one can hinder your famous great deeds, for you have created the sun, which gives knowledge of the day, by being born in the lap of the earth-celestial parents. (5)
वै॒श्वा॒न॒रस्य॒ विमि॑तानि॒ चक्ष॑सा॒ सानू॑नि दि॒वो अ॒मृत॑स्य के॒तुना॑ । तस्येदु॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॒नाधि॑ मू॒र्धनि॑ व॒या इ॑व रुरुहुः स॒प्त वि॒स्रुहः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वैश्वानर अग्नि के जलसूचक तेज से स्वर्ग के उच्च स्थल बने हैं एवं सागर में समस्त जल स्थित रहता है. उसीसे शाखा के समान सात नदियां निकलती हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The waterproof speed of the Vaishvanar agni has made the high places of heaven and all the water is located in the ocean. From it emerges seven rivers similar to the branch. (6)
वि यो रजां॒स्यमि॑मीत सु॒क्रतु॑र्वैश्वान॒रो वि दि॒वो रो॑च॒ना क॒विः । परि॒ यो विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि पप्र॒थेऽद॑ब्धो गो॒पा अ॒मृत॑स्य रक्षि॒ता ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उत्तम कर्म वाले वैश्वानर अग्नि ने लोकों को बनाया. क्रांतदर्शी अन्ने ने स्वर्ग के तेजस्वी नक्षत्रों को एवं सभी ओर वर्तमान प्राणियों को बनाया. अपराजित एवं पालनकर्ता अग्नि जल की रक्षा करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
The best-performing Vaishnavar Agni created the lokas. The revolutionary anna created the bright constellations of heaven and the present beings on all sides. The undefeated and the sustainers protect the agni water. (7)
