योनि॑ष्ट इन्द्र॒ सद॑ने अकारि॒ तमा नृभिः॑ पुरुहूत॒ प्र या॑हि । असो॒ यथा॑ नोऽवि॒ता वृ॒धे च॒ ददो॒ वसू॑नि म॒मद॑श्च॒ सोमैः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे सदन के लिए स्थान बनाया गया है. हे बहुतों द्वारा बुलाए गए इंद्र! मरुतों के साथ उस सदन से आओ एवं तुम रक्षा के समान ही हमारी वृद्धि करो. हमें धन दो एवं हमारे सोमरस द्वारा प्रसन्न बनो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The place for your House has been created. O Indra called by many! Come from that House with the Maruts and you increase us as you protect us. Give us wealth and be pleased with our somras. (1)
गृ॒भी॒तं ते॒ मन॑ इन्द्र द्वि॒बर्हाः॑ सु॒तः सोमः॒ परि॑षिक्ता॒ मधू॑नि । विसृ॑ष्टधेना भरते सुवृ॒क्तिरि॒यमिन्द्रं॒ जोहु॑वती मनी॒षा ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दोनों स्थानों में पूज्य इंद्र! हमने तुम्हारे मन को ग्रहण कर लिया है. सोमरस निचोड़ा है एवं मधु से पात्र को भर लिया है. मध्यम स्वर से उच्चरित एवं समाप्तप्राय यह स्तुति इंद्र को बार-बार बुलाती हुई गूंजती है. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra revered in both places! We have taken your mind. The somras is squeezed and filled the container with honey. This praise, pronounced and finished with a medium tone, echoes repeatedly calling Indra. (2)
आ नो॑ दि॒व आ पृ॑थि॒व्या ऋ॑जीषिन्नि॒दं ब॒र्हिः सो॑म॒पेया॑य याहि । वह॑न्तु त्वा॒ हर॑यो म॒द्र्य॑ञ्चमाङ्गू॒षमच्छा॑ त॒वसं॒ मदा॑य ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋजीषी इंद्र! हमारे इस यज्ञ में सोमरस पीने के लिए स्वर्ग एवं अंतरिक्ष से आओ. हरि नामक अश्च तुम्हें हमारे सामने प्रसन्नता के लिए स्तुतियों की ओर वहन करें. (३)
EN English Translation
O Sage Indra! Come from heaven and space to drink somras in this yagna of ours. Let us bear the praises of the assh named Hari to you for the pleasure before us. (3)
आ नो॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभिः॑ स॒जोषा॒ ब्रह्म॑ जुषा॒णो ह॑र्यश्व याहि । वरी॑वृज॒त्स्थवि॑रेभिः सुशिप्रा॒स्मे दध॒द्वृष॑णं॒ शुष्म॑मिन्द्र ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नामक घोड़ों के स्वामी एवं शोभन ठोड़ी वाले इंद्र! तुम सब प्रकार के रक्षासाधनों के साथ मरुतों को लेकर शत्रुओं की अधिक हिंसा करते हुए हमें अभिलाषापूरक एवं शक्तिशाली पुत्र दो, स्तुतियां सुनो एवं हमारे पास आओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O Lord of horses named Hari and Indra with a gentle chin! You, with all kinds of defense tools, take the maruts and commit more violence against the enemies, and give us a son of desire and mighty, listen to the praises and come to us. (4)
ए॒ष स्तोमो॑ म॒ह उ॒ग्राय॒ वाहे॑ धु॒री॒३॒॑वात्यो॒ न वा॒जय॑न्नधायि । इन्द्र॑ त्वा॒यम॒र्क ई॑ट्टे॒ वसू॑नां दि॒वी॑व॒ द्यामधि॑ नः॒ श्रोम॑तं धाः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रथ के घोड़े के समान शक्तिशाली यह मंत्रसमूह महान्, उग्र एवं विश्व॒भारवहन समर्थ इंद्र को लक्ष्य करके बनाया गया है. हे इंद्र! यह स्तोता तुमसे धन मांगता है. तुम हमें स्वर्ग के समान तेजस्वी पुत्र दो. (५)
EN English Translation
This group of mantras, as powerful as the chariot horse, is created by aiming at the great, furious and world-wide-able Indra. O Indra! This hymn asks you for money. You give us a bright son like heaven. (5)
ए॒वा न॑ इन्द्र॒ वार्य॑स्य पूर्धि॒ प्र ते॑ म॒हीं सु॑म॒तिं वे॑विदाम । इषं॑ पिन्व म॒घव॑द्भ्यः सु॒वीरां॑ यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! इस प्रकार तुम हमें उत्तम धन से पूर्ण करो. हम तुम्हारी महती दया प्राप्त करें. हम हव्य वालों को वीर पुत्रों से युक्त अन्न दो एवं सभी कल्याणसाधनों से हमारी रक्षा करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Thus you make us complete with the best wealth. We receive your great kindness. Give us the people of the good that have the food containing the brave sons and protect us from all the welfare resources. (6)
