इन्द्रं॒ नरो॑ ने॒मधि॑ता हवन्ते॒ यत्पार्या॑ यु॒नज॑ते॒ धिय॒स्ताः । शूरो॒ नृषा॑ता॒ शव॑सश्चका॒न आ गोम॑ति व्र॒जे भ॑जा॒ त्वं नः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब युद्ध की तैयारी होने लगती है तो नेता युद्ध में इंद्र को बुलाते हैं. हे शूर, मनुष्यों के पोषक एवं शक्ति की कामना करने वाले इंद्र! हमें गायों वाली गोशाला में पहुंचाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
When the preparation for the war begins, the leaders call Indra in the war. O Shur, Indra who desires the nourishment and strength of man! Get us to the cowshed. (1)
य इ॑न्द्र॒ शुष्मो॑ मघवन्ते॒ अस्ति॒ शिक्षा॒ सखि॑भ्यः पुरुहूत॒ नृभ्यः॑ । त्वं हि दृ॒ळ्हा म॑घव॒न्विचे॑ता॒ अपा॑ वृधि॒ परि॑वृतं॒ न राधः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बहुतों द्वारा बुलाए गए इंद्र! तुम्हारा जो बल है, उसे अपने सखा स्तोताओं को दो. तुमने दृढ़ शत्रुनगरियों को छिन्नभिन्न किया है. तुम बुद्धि का प्रकाश करके छिपा हुआ धन हमारे लिए प्रकट करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra called by many! Give your strength to your fellow stos. You have shattered the fortified enemy cities. You reveal to us the hidden wealth by the light of wisdom. (2)
इन्द्रो॒ राजा॒ जग॑तश्चर्षणी॒नामधि॒ क्षमि॒ विषु॑रूपं॒ यदस्ति॑ । ततो॑ ददाति दा॒शुषे॒ वसू॑नि॒ चोद॒द्राध॒ उप॑स्तुतश्चिद॒र्वाक् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र पशु आदि गतिशील प्राणियों एवं मनुष्यों के स्वामी हैं. धरती में नानारूप धन है, उसके राजा भी इंद्र हैं. हव्यदाता को धन देने वाले इंद्र हमारी स्तुति सुनकर धन हमारे सामने भेजें. (३)
EN English Translation
Indra is the master of moving beings and human beings, animals etc. There is various wealth in the earth, its king is also Indra. Indra, who gave money to the giver, listened to our praise and sent the money before us. (3)
नू चि॑न्न॒ इन्द्रो॑ म॒घवा॒ सहू॑ती दा॒नो वाजं॒ नि य॑मते न ऊ॒ती । अनू॑ना॒ यस्य॒ दक्षि॑णा पी॒पाय॑ वा॒मं नृभ्यो॑ अ॒भिवी॑ता॒ सखि॑भ्यः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमने धनस्वामी एवं दानशील इंद्र को मरुतों के साथ बुलाया है. वे हमारी रक्षा के लिए शीघ्र ही अन्न दें. जो इंद्र स्तोताओं को संपूर्ण धन देते थे, वे ही मनुष्यों को उत्तम धन दे. (४)
EN English Translation
We have called Dhanaswami and Dansheel Indra along with the Maruts. They soon give food to protect us. Those who gave all the wealth to the Indra Stotas, they would give the best wealth to human beings. (4)
नू इ॑न्द्र रा॒ये वरि॑वस्कृधी न॒ आ ते॒ मनो॑ ववृत्याम म॒घाय॑ । गोम॒दश्वा॑व॒द्रथ॑व॒द्व्यन्तो॑ यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! धनप्राप्ति के लिए शीघ्र धन दो. हम पूज्य स्तुतियों द्वारा तुम्हारा मन अपनी ओर खींच लेंगे. तुम हमें गायों, अश्वों एवं रथों का स्वामी बनाओ एवं कल्याणसाधनों द्वारा हमारी सदा रक्षा करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Give quick money for receipt of money. We will draw your mind towards us by the revered praises. You make us masters of cows, horses and chariots and protect us forever by means of welfare. (5)
