प्र शु॒क्रैतु॑ दे॒वी म॑नी॒षा अ॒स्मत्सुत॑ष्टो॒ रथो॒ न वा॒जी ॥ (१)

दीप्त व सब अभिलाषाओं को देने वाली स्तुति वेगशाली एवं सुसंस्कृत रथ के समान हमारे पास से देवों के पास जावे. (१)
EN English Translation
Let the praise of the bright and all desires go from us to the gods like a fast and cultured chariot. (1)
वि॒दुः पृ॑थि॒व्या दि॒वो ज॒नित्रं॑ शृ॒ण्वन्त्यापो॒ अध॒ क्षर॑न्तीः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बहने वाला जल स्वर्ग और धरती दोनों की उत्पत्ति जानता है एवं स्तुतियां सुनता है. (२)
EN English Translation
The flowing water knows the origins of both heaven and earth and hears praises. (2)
आप॑श्चिदस्मै॒ पिन्व॑न्त पृ॒थ्वीर्वृ॒त्रेषु॒ शूरा॒ मंस॑न्त उ॒ग्राः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विस्तृत जल इन इंद्र को तृप्त करते हैं. शत्रुबाधा होने पर उग्र एवं शूर लोग इंद्र की स्तुति करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The wide water satisfies these indras. When they are armed with enemies, the fierce and brave people praise Indra. (3)
आ धू॒र्ष्व॑स्मै॒ दधा॒ताश्वा॒निन्द्रो॒ न व॒ज्री हिर॑ण्यबाहुः ॥ (४)

इंद्र के आगमन के लिए घोड़ों को रथ के आगे जोड़ो. इंद्र वज्रधारी एवं सोने के हाथों वाले हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
For indra's arrival connect the horses in front of the chariot. Indra is a vajradhari and with gold hands. (4)
अ॒भि प्र स्था॒ताहे॑व य॒ज्ञं याते॑व॒ पत्म॒न्त्मना॑ हिनोत ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यो! यज्ञ के सामने जाओ एवं यात्री के समान यज्ञमार्ग पर स्वयं ही चलो. (५)
EN English Translation
O men! Go in front of the yajna and walk on the path of yajna yourself like a traveler. (5)
त्मना॑ स॒मत्सु॑ हि॒नोत॑ य॒ज्ञं दधा॑त के॒तुं जना॑य वी॒रम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सेवको! युद्धों में अपने आप जाओ. लोगों को ज्ञान कराने वाले एवं पापनाशक यञज्ञों को धारण करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O servants! Go into the wars yourself. Possess the people who give knowledge and sinners. (6)
उद॑स्य॒ शुष्मा॑द्भा॒नुर्नार्त॒ बिभ॑र्ति भा॒रं पृ॑थि॒वी न भूम॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इस यज्ञ के बल के कारण ही सूर्य उदित होता है. धरती जिस प्रकार प्राणियों का भार वहन करती है, उसी प्रकार यज्ञ भी करता है. (७)
EN English Translation
It is because of the force of this yajna that the sun rises. Just as the earth carries the weight of beings, so does yajna. (7)
ह्वया॑मि दे॒वाँ अया॑तुरग्ने॒ साध॑न्नृ॒तेन॒ धियं॑ दधामि ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! मैं अहिंसादि नियमों से युक्त यज्ञ द्वारा अपनी अभिलाषाएं पूर्ण करता हुआ देवों को बुलाता हूं एवं उनके निमित्त यज्ञकर्म करता हूं. (८)
EN English Translation
O agni! I call the gods and perform yajnakarma on their behalf, fulfilling my desires through a yajna with non-violence rules. (8)
अ॒भि वो॑ दे॒वीं धियं॑ दधिध्वं॒ प्र वो॑ देव॒त्रा वाचं॑ कृणुध्वम् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यो! तुम भी देवों को लक्ष्य करके उज्ज्वल कर्म करो एवं देवों से संबंधित स्तुतिवचन बोलो. (९)
EN English Translation
O men! You also do bright deeds by targeting the gods and speak the praises related to the gods. (9)
आ च॑ष्ट आसां॒ पाथो॑ न॒दीनां॒ वरु॑ण उ॒ग्रः स॒हस्र॑चक्षाः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उग्र एवं हजार आंखों वाले वरुण इन नदियों का जल देखते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
The furious and thousand-eyed Varuna see the waters of these rivers. (10)
राजा॑ रा॒ष्ट्रानां॒ पेशो॑ न॒दीना॒मनु॑त्तमस्मै क्ष॒त्रं वि॒श्वायु॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वरुण राष्ट्रों के राजा एवं नदियों को रूप देने वाले हैं. इनका बल बाधारहित एवं सर्वत्र जाने वाला है. (११)
EN English Translation
Varuna is the king of nations and the giver of rivers. Varuna's force is unhindered and goes everywhere. (11)
अवि॑ष्टो अ॒स्मान्विश्वा॑सु वि॒क्ष्वद्युं॑ कृणोत॒ शंसं॑ निनि॒त्सोः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! समस्त प्रजाओं में हमारी रक्षा करो एवं हमारी निंदा के इच्छुक व्यक्ति को तेजहीन बनाओ. (१२)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! Protect us among all the people and make the one who wants to condemn us sharply. (12)
व्ये॑तु दि॒द्युद्द्वि॒षामशे॑वा यु॒योत॒ विष्व॒ग्रप॑स्त॒नूना॑म् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शत्रुओं के असुखकारी आयुध सब ओर हट जावें. हे देवो! शरीर का पाप हमसे दूर करो. (१३)
EN English Translation
Let the enemies' unfriendly weapons be removed everywhere. Oh, God! Take away from us the sin of the flesh. (13)
अवी॑न्नो अ॒ग्निर्ह॒व्यान्नमो॑भिः॒ प्रेष्ठो॑ अस्मा अधायि॒ स्तोमः॑ ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हव्य भक्षण करने वाले अग्नि हमारे नमस्कारों से अधिक प्रसन्न होकर हमारी रक्षा करें. हम अग्नि की स्तुतियां करते हैं. (१४)
EN English Translation
May the agni that eats the havya protect us more than our greetings. We praise the agni. (14)
स॒जूर्दे॒वेभि॑र॒पां नपा॑तं॒ सखा॑यं कृध्वं शि॒वो नो॑ अस्तु ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! जल के पुत्र अग्नि को देवों के साथ अपना मित्र बनाओ. वे हमारे लिए कल्याणकारी हों. (१५)
EN English Translation
This stotao! Make Fire, the son of water, your friend with the gods. Let them be good for us. (15)
अ॒ब्जामु॒क्थैरहिं॑ गृणीषे बु॒ध्ने न॒दीनां॒ रज॑स्सु॒ षीद॑न् ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जल से उत्पन्न, नदियों के जल में स्थित और जल के पुत्र अग्नि की स्तुति मंत्रों द्वारा की जाती है. (१६)
EN English Translation
The agni, the son of water, originating from water, located in the waters of rivers and the son of water, is praised by mantras. (16)
मा नोऽहि॑र्बु॒ध्न्यो॑ रि॒षे धा॒न्मा य॒ज्ञो अ॑स्य स्रिधदृता॒योः ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अग्नि हमें हिंसक के हाथ में न सौंपे. यज्ञ की कामना करने वाले का यज्ञ क्षीण न हो. (१७)
EN English Translation
Do not hand over the agni to us in the hands of the violent. The yajna of the one who wishes for the yajna should not be weakened. (17)
उ॒त न॑ ए॒षु नृषु॒ श्रवो॑ धुः॒ प्र रा॒ये य॑न्तु॒ शर्ध॑न्तो अ॒र्यः ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवगण हमारे मनुष्यों के लिए अन्नरधारण करें एवं धन के लिए उत्साहित शत्रु मर जावें. (१८)
EN English Translation
May the gods maintain food for our human beings and die of enemies excited for wealth. (18)
तप॑न्ति॒ शत्रुं॒ स्व१॒॑र्ण भूमा॑ म॒हासे॑नासो॒ अमे॑भिरेषाम् ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जैसे सूर्य धरती को तप्त करता है, उसी प्रकार विशाल सेना वाले राजा देवों के बल से अपने शत्रु को बाधा पहुंचाते हैं. (१९)
EN English Translation
Just as the sun heats the earth, so the kings with great armies hinder their enemy by the force of the devas. (19)
आ यन्नः॒ पत्नी॒र्गम॒न्त्यच्छा॒ त्वष्टा॑ सुपा॒णिर्दधा॑तु वी॒रान् ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब देवपत्नियां हमारे सामने आती हैं, तब शोभनहाथ वाले त्वष्टा हमें पुत्र दें. (२०)
EN English Translation
When the wives come before us, give us a son with the skin of Shobhanahath. (20)
प्रति॑ नः॒ स्तोमं॒ त्वष्टा॑ जुषेत॒ स्याद॒स्मे अ॒रम॑तिर्वसू॒युः ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
त्वष्टा हमारे स्तोत्रों को स्वीकार करें. पर्याप्त बुद्धि वाले त्वष्टा हमें धन देने के इच्छुक हों. (२१)
EN English Translation
Accept our hymns. Be willing to give us money with sufficient intelligence. (21)
ता नो॑ रासन्राति॒षाचो॒ वसू॒न्या रोद॑सी वरुणा॒नी शृ॑णोतु । वरू॑त्रीभिः सुशर॒णो नो॑ अस्तु॒ त्वष्टा॑ सु॒दत्रो॒ वि द॑धातु॒ रायः॑ ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दान देने में कुशल देवपत्तनियां हमें धन दें. द्यावा-पृथिवी और वरुणपत्नी हमारा स्तोत्र सुनें. कल्याण देने वाले त्वष्टा उपद्रवों का निवारण करने वाली देवपत्नियों के साथ हमारे लिए शरण बनें एवं हमें धन दें. (२२)
EN English Translation
Give us wealth by gods skilled in giving charity. Listen to our hymns of Dyava-Prithivi and Varuna wives. Be a refuge for us with the gods and goddesses who are the ones who give welfare and give us money. (22)
तन्नो॒ रायः॒ पर्व॑ता॒स्तन्न॒ आप॒स्तद्रा॑ति॒षाच॒ ओष॑धीरु॒त द्यौः । वन॒स्पति॑भिः पृथि॒वी स॒जोषा॑ उ॒भे रोद॑सी॒ परि॑ पासतो नः ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पर्वत समूह, समस्त जल, दानकुशल देवपत्नियां, ओषधियां एवं स्वर्ग हमारे उस धन का पालन करें. द्यावा-पृथिवी हमारी रक्षा करें. (२३)
EN English Translation
Mountain groups, all the water, the charitable gods, the herbs, and the heavens, follow our wealth. Let the earth protect us. (23)
अनु॒ तदु॒र्वी रोद॑सी जिहाता॒मनु॑ द्यु॒क्षो वरु॑ण॒ इन्द्र॑सखा । अनु॒ विश्वे॑ म॒रुतो॒ ये स॒हासो॑ रा॒यः स्या॑म ध॒रुणं॑ धि॒यध्यै॑ ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम धारण करने योग्य धन के पात्र हों. विस्तृत द्यावा-पृथिवी दीप्ति के निवास इंद्र, इंद्र के मित्र वरुण एवं शत्रु का पराभव करने वाले मरुद्गण हमारा अनुगमन करें. (२४)
EN English Translation
We are eligible for holdable money. Let indra, indra, the abode of the vast dyawa-prithvi deepti, varuna, indra's friend and the deserts who defeated the enemy, follow us. (24)
तन्न॒ इन्द्रो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॒ग्निराप॒ ओष॑धीर्व॒निनो॑ जुषन्त । शर्म॑न्स्याम म॒रुता॑मु॒पस्थे॑ यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (२५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र, वरुण, मित्र, अग्नि, जल, ओषधियां एवं वृक्ष हमारे इस स्तोत्र को सुनें. मरुतों के समीप रहकर हम सुखी रहेंगे. हे देवो! तुम कल्याणसाधनों द्वारा हमारी सदा रक्षा करो. (२५)
EN English Translation
Indra, Varuna, friends, agni, water, herbs and trees listen to this hymn of ours. We will be happy to be near the maruts. Oh, God! You always protect us by means of welfare. (25)
