शं न॑ इन्द्रा॒ग्नी भ॑वता॒मवो॑भिः॒ शं न॒ इन्द्रा॒वरु॑णा रा॒तह॑व्या । शमिन्द्रा॒सोमा॑ सुवि॒ताय॒ शं योः शं न॒ इन्द्रा॑पू॒षणा॒ वाज॑सातौ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र एवं अग्नि अपने रक्षासाधनों द्वारा हमारे लिए शांतिकारक हों. यजमानों द्वारा हव्य प्राप्त करने वाले इंद्र एवं वरुण हमारे लिए शांतिदाता हों. इंद्र एवं सोम हमारे लिए शांति तथा सुख के कारण बनें. इंद्र तथा पूषा हमें युद्ध में शांतिकारक हों. (१)
EN English Translation
May Indra and Agni be peacemakers for us by their means of protection. May Indra and Varuna, who receive Havya from the hosts, be peace givers to us. May Indra and Soma be the cause of peace and happiness for us. May Indra and Pusha be our peacekeepers in war. (1)
शं नो॒ भगः॒ शमु॑ नः॒ शंसो॑ अस्तु॒ शं नः॒ पुरं॑धिः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु॒ रायः॑ । शं नः॑ स॒त्यस्य॑ सु॒यम॑स्य॒ शंसः॒ शं नो॑ अर्य॒मा पु॑रुजा॒तो अ॑स्तु ॥ (२)

भग एवं नराशंस हमारे लिए शांति देने वाले हों. पुरंध्रि एवं समस्त संपत्तियां हमें शांति दे. शोभन यम से युक्त सत्य का वचन हमें शांतिदाता हो. अनेक बार उत्पन्न अर्यमा हमारे लिए शांति दें. (२)
EN English Translation
May the bhag and the narasans give us peace. May the Purandhri and all the wealth give us peace. May the word of truth containing Shobhan Yama give us peace. May the many times born aryama give us peace. (2)
शं नो॑ धा॒ता शमु॑ ध॒र्ता नो॑ अस्तु॒ शं न॑ उरू॒ची भ॑वतु स्व॒धाभिः॑ । शं रोद॑सी बृह॒ती शं नो॒ अद्रिः॒ शं नो॑ दे॒वानां॑ सु॒हवा॑नि सन्तु ॥ (३)

धाता देव एवं धर्ता वरुण हमें शांति दें. अन्नों के साथ धरती हमें शांति दे. विशाल द्यावा- पृथिवी हमें शांति दें. देवों की उत्तम स्तुतियां हमें शांति दें. (३)
EN English Translation
May Dhata Dev and Dharta Varuna give us peace. May the earth with grains give us peace. May the vast diva- May the earth give us peace. May the best praises of the gods give us peace. (3)
शं नो॑ अ॒ग्निर्ज्योति॑रनीको अस्तु॒ शं नो॑ मि॒त्रावरु॑णाव॒श्विना॒ शम् । शं नः॑ सु॒कृतां॑ सुकृ॒तानि॑ सन्तु॒ शं न॑ इषि॒रो अ॒भि वा॑तु॒ वातः॑ ॥ (४)

ज्योतिरूपी मुख वाले अग्नि हमें शांति दें. मित्र, वरुण एवं अश्विनीकुमार हमें शांति दें. उत्तम कर्म करने वाले के उत्तम कर्म हमें शांति दें. चलने वाली हवा हमें शांति दे. (४)
EN English Translation
May the flames with a bright mouth give us peace. Friends, Varun and Ashwinikumar give us peace. May the best deeds of the one who does the best deeds give us peace. May the wind blowing give us peace. (4)
शं नो॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी पू॒र्वहू॑तौ॒ शम॒न्तरि॑क्षं दृ॒शये॑ नो अस्तु । शं न॒ ओष॑धीर्व॒निनो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ रज॑स॒स्पति॑रस्तु जि॒ष्णुः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
द्यावा-पृथिवी पहली बार पुकारने पर ही हमें शांति दें. अंतरिक्ष हमारे देखने के लिए शांतिदाता हो. ओषशथियां तथा वृक्ष हमें शांति दें. लोक के पति इंद्र हमें शांति दें. (५)
EN English Translation
Give us peace only when we call for the first time. Let space be our peace-giving to see. May the herbs and the trees give us peace. Lok's husband Indra give us peace. (5)
शं न॒ इन्द्रो॒ वसु॑भिर्दे॒वो अ॑स्तु॒ शमा॑दि॒त्येभि॒र्वरु॑णः सु॒शंसः॑ । शं नो॑ रु॒द्रो रु॒द्रेभि॒र्जला॑षः॒ शं न॒स्त्वष्टा॒ ग्नाभि॑रि॒ह शृ॑णोतु ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वसुओं के साथ इंद्र देव हमें शांति दें. शोभनस्तुति वाले वरुण आदित्यों के साथ हमें शांति दें. दुःखनाशक रुद्र रुद्रों के साथ हमें शांति दें. इस यज्ञ में त्वष्टादेव पत्नियों के साथ हमें शांति दें एवं हमारी स्तुतियां सुनें. (६)
EN English Translation
May Indra Dev with vasus give us peace. Give us peace with the sodomy Varun Adityas. Give us peace with the sadistic Rudra Rudras. In this yajna, may Takshatadeva give us peace with the wives and listen to our praises. (6)
शं नः॒ सोमो॑ भवतु॒ ब्रह्म॒ शं नः॒ शं नो॒ ग्रावा॑णः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु य॒ज्ञाः । शं नः॒ स्वरू॑णां मि॒तयो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नः॑ प्र॒स्व१॒ः॑ शम्व॑स्तु॒ वेदिः॑ ॥ (७)

सोम एवं स्तुतिसमूह हमें शांति दें. सोम कूटने के साधन पत्थर एवं यज्ञ हमें शांति दें यूपों के नाम हमें शांति दे. ओषधियां एवं यज्ञदेवी हमारे लिए शांतिकारक हों. (७)
EN English Translation
May som and praise group give us peace. Give us peace, give us peace in the name of yupas. May the medicines and yagyadevis be peaceful for us. (7)
शं नः॒ सूर्य॑ उरु॒चक्षा॒ उदे॑तु॒ शं न॒श्चत॑स्रः प्र॒दिशो॑ भवन्तु । शं नः॒ पर्व॑ता ध्रु॒वयो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नः॒ सिन्ध॑वः॒ शमु॑ स॒न्त्वापः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विस्तृत तेज वाला सूर्य हमारी शांति के लिए उदित हो. चारों महादिशाएं हमारी शांति के लिए हों. दृढ़ पर्वत हमें शांति दें. नदियां एवं जल हमें शांति दें. (८)
EN English Translation
May the sun with a wide brightness rise for our peace. Let the four great directions be for our peace. May the fortified mountains give us peace. May rivers and water give us peace. (8)
शं नो॒ अदि॑तिर्भवतु व्र॒तेभिः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तु म॒रुतः॑ स्व॒र्काः । शं नो॒ विष्णुः॒ शमु॑ पू॒षा नो॑ अस्तु॒ शं नो॑ भ॒वित्रं॒ शम्व॑स्तु वा॒युः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यज्ञकर्मो के साथ अदिति हमें शांति दें. शोभनस्तुति वाले मरुद्गण हमारे लिए शांतिकारक हों. विष्णु एवं पूषा हमारे लिए शांति दें. अंतरिक्ष एवं वायु हमारे लिए शांति दें. (९)
EN English Translation
May Aditi give us peace with yajnakarmo. May the deserts of adornment be peaceful for us. May Vishnu and Pusha rest in peace for us. May space and air give us peace. (9)
शं नो॑ दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता त्राय॑माणः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तू॒षसो॑ विभा॒तीः । शं नः॑ प॒र्जन्यो॑ भवतु प्र॒जाभ्यः॒ शं नः॒ क्षेत्र॑स्य॒ पति॑रस्तु श॒म्भुः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रक्षा करते हुए सविता देव हमें शांति दें. अंधकार का नाश करती हुई उषाएं हमें शांति दे. बादल हमारी प्रजा के लिए शांतिकारक हों. सुख देने वाले क्षेत्रपति हमें शांति दें. (१०)

May Savita Dev give us peace while protecting us. May the ushas destroying the darkness give us peace. May the clouds be peaceful for our people. May the happy regionalists give us peace. (10)
शं नो॑ दे॒वा वि॒श्वदे॑वा भवन्तु॒ शं सर॑स्वती स॒ह धी॒भिर॑स्तु । शम॑भि॒षाचः॒ शमु॑ राति॒षाचः॒ शं नो॑ दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वाः॒ शं नो॒ अप्याः॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दीप्तियुक्त विश्वेदेव हमें शांति दें. सरस्वती यज्ञक्मो के साथ हमें शांति दें. यज्ञ एवं दान करने वाले हमें शांति दें. स्वर्ग, पृथिवी एवं अंतरिक्ष हमें शांति दें. (११)
EN English Translation
May the radiant Visvesvardeva give us peace. Give us peace with Saraswati Yajnakamo. May the yajna and the donors give us peace. May heaven, earth and space give us peace. (11)
शं नः॑ स॒त्यस्य॒ पत॑यो भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ अर्व॑न्तः॒ शमु॑ सन्तु॒ गावः॑ । शं न॑ ऋ॒भवः॑ सु॒कृतः॑ सु॒हस्ताः॒ शं नो॑ भवन्तु पि॒तरो॒ हवे॑षु ॥ (१२)

सत्यपालक देव हमारे लिए शांति के कारण हों. घोड़े एवं गाएं हमें शांति दें. शोभनकर्म एवं हाथों वाले ऋभु हमें शांति दें. स्तुतियां बोली जाने पर पितर हमें शांति दें. (१२)
EN English Translation
May Satyapala dev be the cause of peace for us. Give us peace of horses and cows. May the lord of the hands and the hands give us peace. Give us peace when praises are spoken. (12)
शं नो॑ अ॒ज एक॑पाद्दे॒वो अ॑स्तु॒ शं नोऽहि॑र्बु॒ध्न्य१॒ः॑ शं स॑मु॒द्रः । शं नो॑ अ॒पां नपा॑त्पे॒रुर॑स्तु॒ शं नः॒ पृश्नि॑र्भवतु दे॒वगो॑पा ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अजएकपाद देव हमें शांति दें. अहिर्बुध्न्य एवं समुद्र हमें शांति दें. उपद्रव से पार पहुंचाने वाले अपांनपात् हमें शांति दें. देवों द्वारा रक्षित पृश्नि हमें शांति दें. (१३)
EN English Translation
May the Ajaekpada Dev give us peace. May the sea and the sea give us peace. Give us peace to the relatives who have overcome the nuisance. May the earth protected by the gods give us peace. (13)
आ॒दि॒त्या रु॒द्रा वस॑वो जुषन्ते॒दं ब्रह्म॑ क्रि॒यमा॑णं॒ नवी॑यः । शृ॒ण्वन्तु॑ नो दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वासो॒ गोजा॑ता उ॒त ये य॒ज्ञिया॑सः ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
आदित्यों, रुद्रों एवं वसुओं का समूह हमारे इस नए बनाए हुए स्तोत्र को सुने. स्वर्ग में उत्पन्न, धरती पर उत्पन्न एवं पृश्नि से उत्पन्न यज्ञपात्र अन्य देव भी इसे सुनें. (१४)
EN English Translation
A group of Adityas, Rudras and Vasus listen to this newly created hymn of ours. Other gods born in heaven, born on earth and born of the earth, also listen to it. (14)
ये दे॒वानां॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑नां॒ मनो॒र्यज॑त्रा अ॒मृता॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः । ते नो॑ रासन्तामुरुगा॒यम॒द्य यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो देव यज्ञपात्र देवों के भी यज्ञपात्र एवं मनु के यजनीय हैं, जो मरणरहित एवं सत्य जानने वाले हैं, वे आज हमें विशाल कीर्ति वाला पुत्र दें एवं कल्याणसाधनों से सदा हमारी रक्षा करें. (१५)
EN English Translation
The gods who are also the sacrificial priests of the Yagyapatras and the yajanyas of Manu, who are without death and know the truth, today, they should give us a son of great fame and always protect us with the means of welfare. (15)
