ओ त्यम॑ह्व॒ आ रथ॑म॒द्या दंसि॑ष्ठमू॒तये॑ । यम॑श्विना सुहवा रुद्रवर्तनी॒ आ सू॒र्यायै॑ त॒स्थथुः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन-आह्वान वाले एवं प्रकाशित मार्ग वाले अश्चिनीकुमारो! सूर्या को पत्नीरूप में वरण करने के लिए तुम जिस रथ पर बैठे थे, मैं अपनी रक्षा के निमित्त उसी अतिसुंदर रथ को बुलाता हूं. (१)
EN English Translation
O ashchinikumaro with a behoes and a lit path! I call the chariot on which you sat to elect Surya as a wife, for the sake of protecting you. (1)
पू॒र्वा॒युषं॑ सु॒हवं॑ पुरु॒स्पृहं॑ भु॒ज्युं वाजे॑षु॒ पूर्व्य॑म् । स॒च॒नाव॑न्तं सुम॒तिभिः॑ सोभरे॒ विद्वे॑षसमने॒हस॑म् ॥ (२)

हे सौभरि ऋषि! कल्याणकारिणी स्तुतियों द्वारा पूर्ववर्ती स्तोताओं को पुष्ट करने वाले, यज्ञ में शोभन आह्वान वाले, बहुतों द्वारा अभिलषित, सबके रक्षक, युद्धों में आगे रहने वाले, सबके द्वारा सेव्य, शत्रुओं से द्वेष करने वाले एवं पापरहित इस रथ की स्तुति करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O hundred sages! Praise this chariot, which reinforces the former hymns by welfare hymns, those who invoke the adornment in yajna, those who are anointed by many, the protectors of all, those who are ahead of wars, those who are ahead of all, those who hate enemies and are sinless. (2)
इ॒ह त्या पु॑रु॒भूत॑मा दे॒वा नमो॑भिर॒श्विना॑ । अ॒र्वा॒ची॒ना स्वव॑से करामहे॒ गन्ता॑रा दा॒शुषो॑ गृ॒हम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अनेक शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाले, दिव्यगुणयुक्त एवं हव्यदाता यजमान के घर जाने वाले अश्विनीकुमारो! हम इस यज्ञकर्म की रक्षा के लिए तुम्हें अपने सामने बुलावेंगे. (३)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro, who defeated many enemies, who went to the house of the divinely virtuous and human-possessing host! We will call you in front of us to protect this yajnakarma. (3)
यु॒वो रथ॑स्य॒ परि॑ च॒क्रमी॑यत ई॒र्मान्यद्वा॑मिषण्यति । अ॒स्माँ अच्छा॑ सुम॒तिर्वां॑ शुभस्पती॒ आ धे॒नुरि॑व धावतु ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम्हारे रथ का एक पहिया स्वर्गलोक में चलता है एवं दूसरा तुम्हारे साथ चलता है. हे जल के स्वामी अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम्हारी कल्याणकारिणी बुद्धि इस प्रकार हमारे समीप आवे, जिस प्रकार गाय बछड़े के पास आती है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! One wheel of your chariot moves in paradise and the other walks with you. O Lord of water Ashwinikumaro! May your welfare wisdom come to us in this way, just as the cow comes to the calf. (4)
रथो॒ यो वां॑ त्रिवन्धु॒रो हिर॑ण्याभीशुरश्विना । परि॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी भूष॑ति श्रु॒तस्तेन॑ नास॒त्या ग॑तम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! ऐसा प्रसिद्ध है कि सारथि के तीन स्थानों वाला एवं सोने की लगामों वाला तुम्हारा रथ द्यावा-पृथिवी को अपने प्रकाश से चमकाता है. तुम उसी रथ से हमारे पास आओ. (५)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! It is so famous that your chariot with three places of sarathi and with gold reins shines with its light on the dyava-prithvivi. You come to us by the same chariot. (5)
द॒श॒स्यन्ता॒ मन॑वे पू॒र्व्यं दि॒वि यवं॒ वृके॑ण कर्षथः । ता वा॑म॒द्य सु॑म॒तिभिः॑ शुभस्पती॒ अश्वि॑ना॒ प्र स्तु॑वीमहि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुमने प्राचीनकाल में झ्ुलोक का जल राजा मनु को देकर हल द्वारा जौ की खेती करना सिखाया था. हे जल के स्वामी अश्विनीकुमारो! आज उत्तम स्तोत्रों द्वारा हम तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! You taught the cultivation of barley by ploughing water to King Manu in ancient times. O Lord of water Ashwinikumaro! Today we praise you with the best hymns. (6)
उप॑ नो वाजिनीवसू या॒तमृ॒तस्य॑ प॒थिभिः॑ । येभि॑स्तृ॒क्षिं वृ॑षणा त्रासदस्य॒वं म॒हे क्ष॒त्राय॒ जिन्व॑थः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अन्न एवं धन के स्वामी अश्विनीकुमारो! यज्ञ के मार्ग द्वारा हमारे पास आओ. हे धन देने वाले अश्विनीकुमारो! इसी मार्ग द्वारा तुमने त्रसदस्यु के पुत्र तृक्षि को महान् संपत्ति देकर तृप्त किया था. (७)
EN English Translation
O Lord of food and wealth, Ashwinikumaro! Come to us by the path of yajna. O money-giver Ashwinikumaro! It was through this path that you had satisfied Triksha, the son of Trishadsyu, by giving him great wealth. (7)
अ॒यं वा॒मद्रि॑भिः सु॒तः सोमो॑ नरा वृषण्वसू । आ या॑तं॒ सोम॑पीतये॒ पिब॑तं दा॒शुषो॑ गृ॒हे ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेताओं एवं स्तोताओं को धन बरसाने वाले अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम्हारे लिए यह सोमरस पत्थरों की सहायता से निचोड़ा गया है. तुम सोमपान के लिए आओ और हव्यदाता यजमान के घर में सोम पिओ. (८)
EN English Translation
These are the ashinikumaros who shower money on the leaders and hymns! For you it has been squeezed with the help of somers stones. You come to Sompan and drink the mon in the house of the havyadata host. (8)
आ हि रु॒हत॑मश्विना॒ रथे॒ कोशे॑ हिर॒ण्यये॑ वृषण्वसू । यु॒ञ्जाथां॒ पीव॑री॒रिषः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे धन बरसाने वाले अश्विनीकुमारो! सोने की लगाम से युक्त, आयुधों के कोश के समान एवं आनंददाता रथ पर चढ़ो तथा हमें विशाल अन्न दो. (९)
EN English Translation
O ashwinikumaro who showers money! Climb on to the chariot, with gold reins, like a coat of arms and give us a great grain. (9)
याभिः॑ प॒क्थमव॑थो॒ याभि॒रध्रि॑गुं॒ याभि॑र्ब॒भ्रुं विजो॑षसम् । ताभि॑र्नो म॒क्षू तूय॑मश्वि॒ना ग॑तं भिष॒ज्यतं॒ यदातु॑रम् ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुमने जिन रक्षासाधनों द्वारा पक्थ, अध्रिगु एवं सोमरस द्वारा विशेषरूप से प्रसन्न करने वाले बश्चु की रक्षा की थी, उन्हीं रक्षासाधनों द्वारा तुरंत शीघ्र गति से हमारे समीप आओ तथा रोगी का इलाज करो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! By the means of which you protected the beast, especially pleasing by pakth, adhrigu and somras, by the same means of defense, come to us immediately at a speedy pace and treat the patient. (10)
यदध्रि॑गावो॒ अध्रि॑गू इ॒दा चि॒दह्नो॑ अ॒श्विना॒ हवा॑महे । व॒यं गी॒र्भिर्वि॑प॒न्यवः॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे युद्ध में शत्रु का शीघ्र वध करने वाले अश्चिनीकुमारो! यज्ञकर्म में शीघ्रता करने वाले एवं मेधावी हम लोग दिन के इसी प्रथम भाग में स्तुतिवचनों द्वारा तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
O Ashchinikumaro who kills the enemy quickly in battle! We, who are quick and brilliant in the yagnakarma, call you in this very first part of the day through the eulogies. (11)
ताभि॒रा या॑तं वृष॒णोप॑ मे॒ हवं॑ वि॒श्वप्सुं॑ वि॒श्ववा॑र्यम् । इ॒षा मंहि॑ष्ठा पुरु॒भूत॑मा नरा॒ याभिः॒ क्रिविं॑ वावृ॒धुस्ताभि॒रा ग॑तम् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कृपावर्षा करने वाले अश्विनीकुमारो! सब देवों द्वारा वरण करने योग्य एवं भिन्नभिन्न रूप वाले हमारे आह्वान को सुनकर उन सब रक्षासाधनों के साथ आओ. हे हव्य चाहने वाले, अधिक धन देने वाले एवं युद्धों में अनेक शत्रुओं को हराने वाले अश्चिनीकुमारो! जिन रक्षासाधनों द्वारा तुमने कुएं का जल बढ़ाया था, उन्हीं के साथ यहां आओ. (१२)
EN English Translation
O you who shower grace, Ashwinikumaro! Listen to our call by all the gods, which are selectable and different, and come with all those means of protection. O achashinikato, those who want to be happy, give more money and defeat many enemies in wars! Come here with the defense means by which you increased the water of the well. (12)
तावि॒दा चि॒दहा॑नां॒ ताव॒श्विना॒ वन्द॑मान॒ उप॑ ब्रुवे । ता उ॒ नमो॑भिरीमहे ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इस प्रातःकाल में मैं उन अश्चिनीकुमारों की वंदना करता हुआ उनकी स्तुति करता हूं एवं स्तोत्रों द्वारा उन दोनों से धनसंपत्ति मांगता हूं. (१३)
EN English Translation
In this morning, I worship those Ashchinikumaras and praise them and ask for wealth from both of them through hymns. (13)
ताविद्दो॒षा ता उ॒षसि॑ शु॒भस्पती॒ ता याम॑न्रु॒द्रव॑र्तनी । मा नो॒ मर्ता॑य रि॒पवे॑ वाजिनीवसू प॒रो रु॑द्रा॒वति॑ ख्यतम् ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम जल की रक्षा करने वाले एवं प्रशंसायोग्य मार्ग पर चलने वाले अश्चिनीकुमारों को रात्रि, उषा एवं दिवस-सभी कालों में बुलाते हैं. हे अश्विनीकुमारो! हमारे शत्रुओं को अन्न एवं धन मत देना. (१४)
EN English Translation
We call the Ashchinikumaras who guard the water and walk on the praiseworthy path at night, usha and day in all times. O Ashwinikumaro! Don't give food and money to our enemies. (14)
आ सुग्म्या॑य॒ सुग्म्यं॑ प्रा॒ता रथे॑ना॒श्विना॑ वा स॒क्षणी॑ । हु॒वे पि॒तेव॒ सोभ॑री ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अभिलाषापूरक अश्विनीकुमारो! मुझ सुखयोग्य के लिए तुम प्रातःकाल के समय रथ द्वारा सुख लाओ. मैं सौभरि ऋषि अपने पिता के समान ही तुम्हें बुलाता हूं. (१५)
EN English Translation
This is the wish-filled Ashwinikumaro! Bring you happiness by the chariot in the morning for me to be happy. I, the sage of Sauber, call you just like my father. (15)
मनो॑जवसा वृषणा मदच्युता मक्षुंग॒माभि॑रू॒तिभिः॑ । आ॒रात्ता॑च्चिद्भूतम॒स्मे अव॑से पू॒र्वीभिः॑ पुरुभोजसा ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मन के समान शीघ्र गतिशाली, धन बरसाने वाले, शत्रुनाशक एवं बहुतों के रक्षक अश्विनीकुमारो! अपने शीघ्रगामी रक्षासाधनों द्वारा हमारी रक्षा के लिए हमारे पास आओ. (१६)
EN English Translation
O fast pacifier as the mind, the one who showers wealth, the destroyer of enemies and the protector of many, AshwiniKumaro! Come to us to protect us by your early defense tools. (16)
आ नो॒ अश्वा॑वदश्विना व॒र्तिर्या॑सिष्टं मधुपातमा नरा । गोम॑द्दस्रा॒ हिर॑ण्यवत् ॥ (१७)

हे अधिक सोम पीने वाले नेता एवं दर्शनीय अश्चिनीकुमारो! हमारे घर को अश्वो, गायों एवं स्वर्ण से युक्त बनाओ. (१७)

O leaders who drink more som and are spectacular aschinikumaros! Make our house full of horses, cows and gold. (17)
सु॒प्रा॒व॒र्गं सु॒वीर्यं॑ सु॒ष्ठु वार्य॒मना॑धृष्टं रक्ष॒स्विना॑ । अ॒स्मिन्ना वा॑मा॒याने॑ वाजिनीवसू॒ विश्वा॑ वा॒मानि॑ धीमहि ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम शोभनदान योग्य, सुंदर बल से युक्त, सबके द्वारा वरण करने योग्य एवं शक्तिशाली पुरुष द्वारा भी पराजित न होने वाला धन तुमसे प्राप्त करें. हे शक्ति एवं धन वाले अश्वरिनीकुमारो! तुम्हारे आने पर हम धन प्राप्त करेंगे. (१८)
EN English Translation
May we receive from you money that is not defeated by a man of adornment, with beautiful force, worthy of choice by all and by a powerful man. O Ashvrinikumaro with power and wealth! We will receive the money when you come. (18)
