परि॒ प्र ध॒न्वेन्द्रा॑य सोम स्वा॒दुर्मि॒त्राय॑ पू॒ष्णे भगा॑य ॥ (१)

हे स्वादिष्ट सोम! तुम इंद्र, मित्र, वरुण, पूषा और भग नामक देवों के लिए पात्रों में टपको. (१)

O yummy Mon! You tap into characters for the gods named Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Pusha and Bhaga. (1)
इन्द्र॑स्ते सोम सु॒तस्य॑ पेयाः॒ क्रत्वे॒ दक्षा॑य॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे निचोड़े हुए सोम! इंद्र ज्ञान और बल पाने के लिए तुम्हारा रस पिएं. सारे देव तुम्हारा रस पिएं. (२)
EN English Translation
O squeezed Mon! Drink your juice to gain wisdom and strength. Let all the gods drink your juice. (2)
ए॒वामृता॑य म॒हे क्षया॑य॒ स शु॒क्रो अ॑र्ष दि॒व्यः पी॒यूषः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली, दिव्य एवं देवों के पीने योग्य सोम! तुम हमें अमर बनाने एवं विशाल घर देने के लिए छनो. (३)
EN English Translation
O radiant, divine and drinkable mon of the gods! You sprinkle to make us immortal and give us huge houses. (3)
पव॑स्व सोम म॒हान्स॑मु॒द्रः पि॒ता दे॒वानां॒ विश्वा॒भि धाम॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे महान्, रस बहाने वाले एवं सबके पालक सोम! तुम देवों के सभी शरीरों को लक्ष्य करके शुद्ध बनो. (४)
EN English Translation
O great, the juice-shedding and the guardian of all, Mon! Be pure by you targeting all the bodies of the gods. (4)
शु॒क्रः प॑वस्व दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सोम दि॒वे पृ॑थि॒व्यै शं च॑ प्र॒जायै॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम दीप्तिशाली बनकर देवों के लिए छनो तथा द्यावा-पृथिवी और प्रजा को सुख दो. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You become a bright one and give happiness to the gods and to the people. (5)
दि॒वो ध॒र्तासि॑ शु॒क्रः पी॒यूषः॑ स॒त्ये विध॑र्मन्वा॒जी प॑वस्व ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली, पीने योग्य, स्वर्गलोक के धारणकर्तता एवं शक्तिशाली सोम! तुम इस सच्चे यज्ञ में टपको. (६)
EN English Translation
O glorious, potable, possessive and mighty soma of paradise! You plunge into this true yajna. (6)
पव॑स्व सोम द्यु॒म्नी सु॑धा॒रो म॒हामवी॑ना॒मनु॑ पू॒र्व्यः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यशस्वी, शोभनधाराओं वाले एवं प्राचीन सोम! तुम भेड़ के बालों से बने दशापवित्र के छिद्रों से होकर बहो. (७)
EN English Translation
O successful, blessed and ancient Mon! You flow through the pores of dasapovithra made of sheep's hair. (7)
नृभि॑र्येमा॒नो ज॑ज्ञा॒नः पू॒तः क्षर॒द्विश्वा॑नि म॒न्द्रः स्व॒र्वित् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ऋत्विजों द्वारा संयमित, उत्पन्न, पवित्र, मोदयुक्त एवं सबको जानने वाले सोम हमें सब धन दें. (८)
EN English Translation
May the mons, who are restrained, created, sanctified, and known to all by the ritwijas, give us all the wealth. (8)
इन्दुः॑ पुना॒नः प्र॒जामु॑रा॒णः कर॒द्विश्वा॑नि॒ द्रवि॑णानि नः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवों को बढ़ाने वाले एवं शुद्ध होते हुए सोम हमें संतान एवं सभी धन दें. (९)
EN English Translation
May the one who increases the gods and is cleansed, give us children and all the wealth. (9)
पव॑स्व सोम॒ क्रत्वे॒ दक्षा॒याश्वो॒ न नि॒क्तो वा॒जी धना॑य ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्व के समान जल से धोए गए एवं वेगशाली सोम! तुम हमें ज्ञान, बल और धन देने के लिए टपको. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Soma washed with water like a horse and a fast one! You drip to give us knowledge, strength and wealth. (10)
तं ते॑ सो॒तारो॒ रसं॒ मदा॑य पु॒नन्ति॒ सोमं॑ म॒हे द्यु॒म्नाय॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! रस निचोड़ने वाले लोग नया एवं महान् अन्न पाने के लिए तुम्हारा रस शुद्ध करते हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! The juice squeezers purify your juice to get new and great food. (11)
शिशुं॑ जज्ञा॒नं हरिं॑ मृजन्ति प॒वित्रे॒ सोमं॑ दे॒वेभ्य॒ इन्दु॑म् ॥ (१२)

ऋत्विज् जल के पुत्र, जन्म लेने वाले, हरितवर्ण एवं दीप्तिशाली सोम को देवों के लिए दशापवित्र पर छानते हैं. (१२)
EN English Translation
The sons of Ritwij jal, the born, the greenervarna and the radiant soma are filtered on the dashapavitra for the gods. (12)
इन्दुः॑ पविष्ट॒ चारु॒र्मदा॑या॒पामु॒पस्थे॑ क॒विर्भगा॑य ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
कल्याणकारक एवं बुद्धिमान् सोम जलों के समान अंतरिक्ष में मद एवं धन के लिए शुद्ध होते हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
The welfare and wise are pure for goods and wealth in space like somas waters. (13)
बिभ॑र्ति॒ चार्विन्द्र॑स्य॒ नाम॒ येन॒ विश्वा॑नि वृ॒त्रा ज॒घान॑ ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोम इंद्र के कल्याणकारी शरीर का पोषण करते हैं, उसी शरीर से इंद्र ने सब राक्षसों को मारा. (१४)
EN English Translation
Som nourishes the welfare body of Indra, from the same body Indra killed all the demons. (14)
पिब॑न्त्यस्य॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वासो॒ गोभिः॑ श्री॒तस्य॒ नृभिः॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
गायों के दूध-दही से मिले हुए एवं ऋत्विजों द्वारा निचोड़े हुए सोम को सभी देव पीते हैं. (१५)
EN English Translation
All the gods drink Som, mixed with the milk and curd of cows and squeezed by the ritvijas. (15)
प्र सु॑वा॒नो अ॑क्षाः स॒हस्र॑धारस्ति॒रः प॒वित्रं॒ वि वार॒मव्य॑म् ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
छाने जाते हुए एवं हजार धाराओं वाले सोम भेड़ के बालों से बने दशापवित्र को पार करके अनेक प्रकार से बहते हैं. (१६)
EN English Translation
The shackled and the thousand-streamed mons flow in many ways by crossing the dashapavittra made of sheep's hair. (16)
स वा॒ज्य॑क्षाः स॒हस्र॑रेता अ॒द्भिर्मृ॑जा॒नो गोभिः॑ श्रीणा॒नः ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शक्तिशाली, अधिक जल वाले व जलों में मसले जाते हुए सोम सभी ओर बहते हैं. (१७)
EN English Translation
Powerful, over-watered and mashed in the waters, som flows all over. (17)
प्र सो॑म या॒हीन्द्र॑स्य कु॒क्षा नृभि॑र्येमा॒नो अद्रि॑भिः सु॒तः ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजों द्वारा संयमित एवं पत्थरों की सहायता से निचोड़े गए सोम! तुम इंद्र के पेट में जाओ. (१८)
EN English Translation
O Mon restrained by the ritwijas and squeezed with the help of stones! You go into Indra's stomach. (18)
अस॑र्जि वा॒जी ति॒रः प॒वित्र॒मिन्द्रा॑य॒ सोमः॑ स॒हस्र॑धारः ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शक्तिशाली एवं हजार धाराओं वाले सोम दशापवित्र के द्वारा छान कर इंद्र के लिए तैयार किए जाते हैं. (१९)

The powerful and thousand-streamed mons are filtered by dashapavittra and prepared for Indra. (19)
अ॒ञ्जन्त्ये॑नं॒ मध्वो॒ रसे॒नेन्द्रा॑य॒ वृष्ण॒ इन्दुं॒ मदा॑य ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ऋत्विज् अभिलाषापूरक इंद्र के नशे के लिए गाय के मीठे दूध के साथ सोम को मिलाते हैं. (२०)
EN English Translation
The ritwij abhilashpuraks mix Som with the sweet milk of the cow for Indra's intoxication. (20)
दे॒वेभ्य॑स्त्वा॒ वृथा॒ पाज॑से॒ऽपो वसा॑नं॒ हरिं॑ मृजन्ति ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जल में रहने वाले हरितवर्ण सोम! ऋत्विजू तुम्हें बिना श्रम के देवों के पीने एवं उन्हें शक्ति देने के लिए शुद्ध करते हैं. (२१)
EN English Translation
O green golden som living in the water! Ritwizu purifies you to drink without labor to the gods and give them strength. (21)
इन्दु॒रिन्द्रा॑य तोशते॒ नि तो॑शते श्री॒णन्नु॒ग्रो रि॒णन्न॒पः ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जल एवं दूध के साथ मिले हुए, शक्तिदाता एवं जलों के प्रेरक सोम इंद्र के लिए निचोड़े जाते हैं. (२२)
EN English Translation
Mixed with water and milk, the shaktidata and the instigator of the waters are squeezed for Som Indra. (22)
