उपा॑स्मै गायता नरः॒ पव॑माना॒येन्द॑वे । अ॒भि दे॒वाँ इय॑क्षते ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! यज्ञ करने के लिए देवों के अभिमुख जाने के इच्छुक एवं टपकते हुए सोमरस के लिए गाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! Sing for the dripping Somras, willing to go to the gods' face to perform the yajna. (1)
अ॒भि ते॒ मधु॑ना॒ पयोऽथ॑र्वाणो अशिश्रयुः । दे॒वं दे॒वाय॑ देव॒यु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! अथर्वा-गोत्रीय ऋषियों ने तुम्हारे दीप्तिशाली एवं देवाभिलाषी रस को इंद्र के लिए मीठे गोदुग्ध से मिलाया है. (२)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! The atharva-gotra sages have mixed your radiant and devabhishilashi rasa with sweet godoudha for Indra. (2)
स नः॑ पवस्व॒ शं गवे॒ शं जना॑य॒ शमर्व॑ते । शं रा॑ज॒न्नोष॑धीभ्यः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली सोम! तुम हमारी गायों, संतानों, अश्नों एवं ओषधियों के लिए सुख बरसाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O radiant Mon! Send happiness to our cows, our children, to our and to our herbs. (3)
ब॒भ्रवे॒ नु स्वत॑वसेऽरु॒णाय॑ दिवि॒स्पृशे॑ । सोमा॑य गा॒थम॑र्चत ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुतिकर्ताओ! तुम लोग पिंगल वर्ण, बलशाली, रक्ताभ एवं द्युलोक को स्पर्श करने वाले सोम की स्तुति करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Stuti doers!praise the pingal varna, the strong, the red colored and the one who touches the dayu loka. (4)
हस्त॑च्युतेभि॒रद्रि॑भिः सु॒तं सोमं॑ पुनीतन । मधा॒वा धा॑वता॒ मधु॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! अपने पावन प्रसार द्वारा अभिस्रुत सोम को पावन बनाओ एवं मादक सोम को गोदुग्ध से मिश्रित करो. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! Make the anointed mon pure by spreading your sacred and mix the intoxicating soma with godouth. (5)
नम॒सेदुप॑ सीदत द॒ध्नेद॒भि श्री॑णीतन । इन्दु॒मिन्द्रे॑ दधातन ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! नमस्कार करके सोम का सान्निध्य प्राप्त करो एवं उस में दही मिश्रित करके इंद्र के लिए उसे प्रस्तुत करो. (६)
EN English Translation
This stotao! Greet and get the proximity of The Mon and mix curd in it and present it to Indra. (6)
अ॒मि॒त्र॒हा विच॑र्षणिः॒ पव॑स्व सोम॒ शं गवे॑ । दे॒वेभ्यो॑ अनुकाम॒कृत् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम शत्रुधर्षक हो. तुम विचित्र एवं देवों को संतुष्टिकारक हो. तुम हमारी गायों के लिए सरलता से अभिस्रुत होओ. (७)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You are a host. You are strange and satisfying to the gods. You are easily possessed for our cows. (7)
इन्द्रा॑य सोम॒ पात॑वे॒ मदा॑य॒ परि॑ षिच्यसे । म॒न॒श्चिन्मन॑स॒स्पतिः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मन के ज्ञाता एवं स्वामी सोम! तुम इंद्र के पीने के लिए एवं नशा करने के लिए पात्रों में भरे जाते हो. (८)
EN English Translation
O knower of the mind and lord Som! You are filled in vessels for Indra to drink and to drink. (8)
पव॑मान सु॒वीर्यं॑ र॒यिं सो॑म रिरीहि नः । इन्द॒विन्द्रे॑ण नो यु॒जा ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे निचुड़ते हुए एवं गीले सोम! तुम इंद्र के साथ मिलकर हमें शोभन बल वाला धन दो. (९)
EN English Translation
O smooth and wet Mon! Together with Indra, give us the wealth with the strength of the sobhan. (9)
