ए॒ते सोमा॑स आ॒शवो॒ रथा॑ इव॒ प्र वा॒जिनः॑ । सर्गाः॑ सृ॒ष्टा अ॑हेषत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अध्वर्यु द्वारा संस्कृत सोम दशापवित्र से इस प्रकार नीचे जाते हैं, जिस प्रकार युद्ध में रथ और घोड़े तेज चलते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
By Adhwaryu, Sanskrit Somas go down from Dashapavitra in such a way that chariots and horses move fast in battle. (1)
ए॒ते वाता॑ इवो॒रवः॑ प॒र्जन्य॑स्येव वृ॒ष्टयः॑ । अ॒ग्नेरि॑व भ्र॒मा वृथा॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये सोम महान् वायु, बादलों की वर्षा एवं अग्नि की ज्वालाओं के समान निकलते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
These somas come out like great air, rain of clouds and flames of agni. (2)
ए॒ते पू॒ता वि॑प॒श्चितः॒ सोमा॑सो॒ दध्या॑शिरः । वि॒पा व्या॑नशु॒र्धियः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शुद्ध, बुद्धियुक्त एवं दही मिले हुए ये सोम ज्ञान के द्वारा हमारी बुद्धियों को व्याप्त करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Pure, wise and mixed with curd, these somas permeate our intellects through knowledge. (3)
ए॒ते मृ॒ष्टा अम॑र्त्याः ससृ॒वांसो॒ न श॑श्रमुः । इय॑क्षन्तः प॒थो रजः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दशापवित्र द्वारा शोधित एवं मरणरहित सोम हव्य रखने के स्थान से जाते हुए मार्गो एवं लोकों में जाने की इच्छा करते हैं तथा थकते नहीं हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Soma, researched by Dashapavitra and without death, wishes to go to the paths and worlds while going from the place of keeping havya and does not get tired. (4)
ए॒ते पृ॒ष्ठानि॒ रोद॑सोर्विप्र॒यन्तो॒ व्या॑नशुः । उ॒तेदमु॑त्त॒मं रजः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये सोम द्यावा-पृथिवी के ऊपर अनेक प्रकार से विचरण करके फैलते हैं एवं उत्तम द्युलोक में जाते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
They spread over the Som Dyava-Prithvi in many ways and go to the best dulok. (5)
तन्तुं॑ तन्वा॒नमु॑त्त॒ममनु॑ प्र॒वत॑ आशत । उ॒तेदमु॑त्त॒माय्य॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
नदियां यज्ञ का विस्तार करने वाले एवं उत्तम सोम को प्राप्त करती हैं. सोम इस कार्य को उत्तम बनाते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The rivers extend the yajna and attain the uttama soma. Mon makes this task the best. (6)
त्वं सो॑म प॒णिभ्य॒ आ वसु॒ गव्या॑नि धारयः । त॒तं तन्तु॑मचिक्रदः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम पणियों के पास से गायों का समूह एवं धन लाते हो तथा यज्ञ का विस्तार करने वाला शब्द करते हो. (७)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You bring a group of cows and money from the panies and say the word that extends the yajna. (7)
