प्र सोमा॑सो अधन्विषुः॒ पव॑मानास॒ इन्द॑वः । श्री॒णा॒ना अ॒प्सु मृ॑ञ्जत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
संस्कृत एवं दीप्तिशाली सोम जाते हैं एवं उंगलियों से मिलकर जल में मसले जाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Sanskrit and Deeptishali Som go and are mixed in water with fingers. (1)
अ॒भि गावो॑ अधन्विषु॒रापो॒ न प्र॒वता॑ य॒तीः । पु॒ना॒ना इन्द्र॑माशत ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
गतिशील सोम नीचे बहने वाले जल के समान दशापवित्र में पहुंचते हैं एवं प्रसन्न करने के उद्देश्य से इंद्र को व्याप्त करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The moving som reaches the Dashapavitra like the water flowing below and permeates Indra for the purpose of pleasing. (2)
प्र प॑वमान धन्वसि॒ सोमेन्द्रा॑य॒ पात॑वे । नृभि॑र्य॒तो वि नी॑यसे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पवमान सोम! मनुष्य तुम्हें चाहे जहां ले जावें. तुम वहीं रहकर इंद्र के पीने के उद्देश्य से इंद्र के पास पहुंचते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Pawman Mon! Humans take you wherever they want. You stay there and reach Indra for the purpose of drinking. (3)
त्वं सो॑म नृ॒माद॑नः॒ पव॑स्व चर्षणी॒सहे॑ । सस्नि॒र्यो अ॑नु॒माद्यः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यों को मतवाला करने वाले सोम! तुम शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाले योद्धाओं के लिए टपको. (४)
EN English Translation
O you who worship men, Mon! You tap for the warriors who defeat the enemies. (4)
इन्दो॒ यदद्रि॑भिः सु॒तः प॒वित्रं॑ परि॒धाव॑सि । अर॒मिन्द्र॑स्य॒ धाम्ने॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! जब तुम पत्थरों द्वारा कुचले जाकर दशापवित्र की ओर दौड़ते हो, तब तुम इंद्र के उदर के लिए पर्याप्त होते हो. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! When you run towards Dashapavitra, crushed by stones, you are enough for Indra's belly. (5)
पव॑स्व वृत्रहन्तमो॒क्थेभि॑रनु॒माद्यः॑ । शुचिः॑ पाव॒को अद्भु॑तः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुओं का सर्वाधिक हनन करने वाले, उक्त मंत्रं द्वारा स्तुति करने योग्य, शुद्ध, दूसरों को पवित्र करने वाले एवं अदभुत सोम! तुम टपको. (६)
EN English Translation
O you who most abusers the enemies, worthy of praise by the said mantras, pure, sanctify others and the wonderful Soma! You tap. (6)
शुचिः॑ पाव॒क उ॑च्यते॒ सोमः॑ सु॒तस्य॒ मध्वः॑ । दे॒वा॒वीर॑घशंस॒हा ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मादक सोमलता का निचुड़ा हुआ रस शुद्ध एवं दूसरों को पवित्र करने वाला कहलाता है. वह देवों को तृप्त करने वाला एवं असुरहंता है. (७)
EN English Translation
The unsettled juice of intoxicating somalatha is said to purify and sanctify others. He is the one who satisfies the gods and is the asura. (7)
