प्र सु॑वा॒नो धार॑या॒ तनेन्दु॑र्हिन्वा॒नो अ॑र्षति । रु॒जद्दृ॒ळ्हा व्योज॑सा ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
निचुड़ते हुए सोम अध्वर्यु की प्रेरणा से दशापवित्र में जाते हैं तथा शत्रुओं की दृढ़ नगरियों को शिथिल बनाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
With the inspiration of Adhavryu, the errant Som goes to Dashapavitra and relaxes the fortified cities of the enemies. (1)
सु॒त इन्द्रा॑य वा॒यवे॒ वरु॑णाय म॒रुद्भ्यः॑ । सोमो॑ अर्षति॒ विष्ण॑वे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
निचोड़े हुए सोम इंद्र, वायु, वरुण, मरुद्गण एवं विष्णु के पास जाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The squeezed som goes to Indra, Vayu, Varuna, Marudgana and Vishnu. (2)
वृषा॑णं॒ वृष॑भिर्य॒तं सु॒न्वन्ति॒ सोम॒मद्रि॑भिः । दु॒हन्ति॒ शक्म॑ना॒ पयः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अध्वर्यु आदि रस बरसाने वाले एवं हाथ में पकड़े हुए सोमरस को निचोड़ने वाले पत्थरों दवारा दुहते हैं. वे कर्मरूपी बल द्वारा सोमरसरूपी दूध दुहते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Adhwaryu etc. milk the stones that rain juices and squeeze the somers while holding it in their hands. They milk somersaform milk by the force of the work. (3)
भुव॑त्त्रि॒तस्य॒ मर्ज्यो॒ भुव॒दिन्द्रा॑य मत्स॒रः । सं रू॒पैर॑ज्यते॒ हरिः॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
त्रित ऋषि का यह नशीला सोम अपने एवं इंद्र के पीने के लिए शुद्ध हो रहा है. हरे रंग का सोम दूध आदि के साथ मिलाया जाता है. (४)
EN English Translation
This intoxicating som of the sage Trinity is being purified for his own and Indra's drinking. Green is mixed with mon milk etc. (4)
अ॒भीमृ॒तस्य॑ वि॒ष्टपं॑ दुह॒ते पृश्नि॑मातरः । चारु॑ प्रि॒यत॑मं ह॒विः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पृश्नि के पुत्र मरुद्गण इस यज्ञ के स्थान, इंद्र आदि के प्रिय, होम के साधन व मनोहर सोम को दुहते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
The deserts, the sons of the earth, milk the place of this yajna, the beloved of Indra, etc., the means of home and Manohar Som. (5)
समे॑न॒मह्रु॑ता इ॒मा गिरो॑ अर्षन्ति स॒स्रुतः॑ । धे॒नूर्वा॒श्रो अ॑वीवशत् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारी सरल स्तुतियां चलती हुई सोम के साथ मिलती हैं. शब्द करते हुए सोम उन प्रसन्न करने वाली स्तुतियों की अभिलाषा करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Our simple praises are mixed with the moving mon. While making the words, Som craves those pleasing praises. (6)
