एत असृग्रमिन्दवस्तिरः पवित्रमाशवः । विश्वान्यभि सौभगा ॥ (१)

हे सोम! आप तेजी से छलनी की ओर भाग रहे हैं. यजमान अपने सौभाग्य के लिए आप को परिष्कृत कर रहे हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are running towards the sieve fast. Hosts are refining you for your good fortune. (1)
विघ्नन्तो दुरिता पुरु सुगा तोकाय वाजिनः । त्मना कृण्वन्तो अर्वतः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप शक्तिदाता, पापनाशी व हमारी पीठ़ियों को पशु धन देते हैं. आप अपना मार्ग स्वयं निर्मित करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You give power, papanashida and livestock to our chairs. You create your own path. (2)
कृण्वन्तो वरिवो गवेऽभ्यर्षन्ति सुष्टुतिम् । इडामस्मभ्यँ संयतम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप हमें धन प्रदान करते हैं. आप हमारी गायों के लिए भी श्रेष्ठ धन प्रदान करते हैं. आप पालने वाले हैं. आप हमारी प्रार्थनाओं को स्वीकार कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You provide us with funds. You also provide the best money for our cows. You're going to raise. You accept our prayers. (3)
राजा मेधाभिरीयते पवमानो मनावधि । अन्तरिक्षेण यातवे ॥ (४)

हे सोम! आप राजा हैं. हम बुद्धि से आप की उपासना करते हैं. आप अंतरिक्ष में भ्रमण करते हैं. आप द्रोणकलश में स्थित रहते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are the king. We worship you with wisdom. You travel in space. You live in Dronalash. (4)
आ नः सोम सहो जुवो रूपं न वर्चसे भर । सुष्वाणो देववीतये ॥ (५)

हे सोम! आप को देवीदेवताओं के उपयोग के लिए परिष्कृत किया जाता है. आप हमें भरपूर रूप, वर्चस्व (प्रभाव) व तेज प्रदान कीजिए. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are refined for the use of goddesses. You give us full form, dominance and sharpness. (5)
आ न इन्दो शतग्विनं गवां पोषँ स्वश्व्यम् । वहा भगत्तिमूतये ॥ (६)

हे सोम! आप हमें सैकड़ों गाएं व घोड़े प्रदान कीजिए. आप उन सब का पालनपोषण करने में सक्षम हैं. आप हमें भाग्यशाली बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You give us hundreds of cows and horses. You are able to nurture them all. Please make us lucky. (6)
तं त्वा नृम्णानि बिभ्रतँ सधस्थेषु महो दिवः । चारुँ सुकृत्ययेमहे ॥ (७)

हे सोम! आप स्वर्गलोक के महान वैभव से संपन्न हैं. आप चारु (सुंदर) हैं. आप को हम अपने सुकर्मो से पाना चाहते हैं. हम आप की उपासना करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are endowed with the great splendour of heaven. You are Charu (beautiful). We want to get you through our good deeds. We worship you. (7)
संवृक्तधृष्णुमुक्थ्यं महामहिव्रतं मदम् । शतं पुरो रुरुक्षणिम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप महान, महिमाशाली व व्रती हैं. आप शत्रुओं के सैकड़ों नगरों का नाश करने वाले हैं. हम आप से धन चाहते हैं. (८)

O Mon! You are great, glorious and fasting. You are going to destroy hundreds of cities of enemies. We want money from you. (8)
अतस्त्वा रयिरभ्ययद्राजानँ सुक्रतो दिवः । सुपर्णो अव्यथी भरत् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप सुकर्म करने वाले, धन व शक्तिदाता हैं. आप कभी व्यथित नहीं होते हैं. गरुड़ आप को स्वर्गलोक से पृथ्वीलोक पर लाने की कृपा करें. (९)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are a good deed, a giver of wealth and power. You are never distressed. Garuda, please bring you from heaven to earth. (9)
अधा हिन्वान इन्द्रियं ज्यायो महित्वमानशे । अभिष्टिकृद्विचर्षणिः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! स्वर्गलोक से पृथ्वीलोक पर आने के बाद आप और ज्ञानदायी (संपन्न), महिमाशाली, आकर्षक व क्षमतावान हो जाते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Mon! After coming from heaven to earth, you become more knowledgeable, glorious, attractive and capable. (10)
विश्वस्मा इत्स्वर्दृशे साधारणँ रजस्तुरम् । गोपामृतस्य विर्भरत् ॥ (११)

हे सोम! आप स्वयं प्रकाशमान हैं. आप यज्ञ के रक्षक व जल के प्रेरक हैं. आप अमृत और दिव्य हैं. (११)

O Mon! You are illuminating yourself. You are the protector of yajna and the motivator of water. You are elixir and divine. (11)
इषे पवस्व धारया मृज्यमानो मनीषिभिः । इन्दो रुचाभि गा इहि ॥ (१२)

हे सोम! आप ज्ञानवान हैं. मनीषी यजमान आप को परिष्कृत करते हैं. आप पौष्टिक अन्न देने वाले है. आप अपनी धाराओं में प्रवाहित होइए. (१२)

O Mon! You are knowledgeable. Manishi hosts refine you. You are going to give nutritious food. You flow in your streams. (12)
पुनानो वरिवस्कृध्यूर्जं जनाय गिर्वणः । हरे सृजान आशिरम् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप हरे व उपासना के योग्य हैं. आप जलवान होइए. आप यजमानों को अन्न प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (१३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are green and worthy of worship. You get jealous. Please provide food to the hosts. (13)
पुनानो देववीतय इन्द्रस्य याहि निष्कृतम् । द्युतानो वाजिभिर्हितः ॥ (१४)

हे सोम! आप पवित्र व दिव्य हैं. आप को इंद्र और देवताओं के लिए परिष्कृत किया जाता है. आप हित साधक, दयुतिमान व शक्तिशाली हैं. आप इंद्र तक पहुंचने की कृपा कीजिए. (१४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure and divine. You are refined for Indra and the gods. You are a seeker, a strong and powerful person. Please reach out to Indra. (14)
