बभ्रवे नु स्वतवसेऽरुणाय दिविस्पृशे । सोमाय गाथमर्चत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! सोम ललाई वाले भूरे और शक्तिमान हैं. वे स्वर्गलोक को स्पर्श करते हैं. आप उन दिव्य सोम की उपासना कीजिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Som is brown and powerful with lalai. They touch heaven. You worship that divine Soma. (1)
हस्तच्युतेभिरद्रिभिः सुतँ सोमं पुनीतन । मधावा धावता मधु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! पत्थरों से कूट कर सोमरस निकाला गया है. स्वच्छ कर के छाना गया है. आप उस सोमरस में गाय का दूध मिलाइए. (२)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Someras has been extracted by crushing stones. Clean tax has been filtered. You add cow's milk to that someras. (2)
नमसेदुप सीदत दध्नेदभि श्रीणीतन । इन्दुमिन्द्रे दधातन ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमान! आप सोमरस में दही मिलाइए. इस सोमरस को नमस्कारपूर्वक पवित्र बनाइए. उस के बाद आप यह सोमरस इंद्र को पीने के लिए भेंट कीजिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O host! You add curd to somers. Make this Someras holy with namaskar. After that you offer this someras to Indra to drink. (3)
अमित्रहा विचर्षणिः पवस्व सोम शं गवे । देवेभ्यो अनुकामकृत् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. आप सब कुछ देखने वाले हैं. आप देवताओं के लिए उन की इच्छानुसार काम करने वाले हैं. आप शत्रुहंता हैं. आप हमारी गायों के लिए सुखशांति प्रदान कीजिए. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. You're going to see everything. You are going to work for the gods as they wish. You are enemies. You give peace and tranquility for our cows. (4)
इन्द्राय सोम पातवे मदाय परि षिच्यसे । मनश्चिन्मनसस्पतिः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र मन के मालिक हैं. वे मन में रमते हैं. ऐसे इंद्र के पीने के लिए, मद देने के लिए सोमरस परिष्कृत होता है. (५)
EN English Translation
Indra is the master of the mind. They ruminate in the mind. For such Indra's drinking, someras is refined to give the item. (5)
पवमान सुवीर्यँ रयिँ सोम रिरीहि नः । इन्दविन्द्रेण नो युजा ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व अच्छे वीर्यवान हैं. आप हमें इंद्र से जोडिए. आप हमें उन से चाहा गया धन प्राप्त कराने की कृपा कीजिए. (६)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure and good virtuous. You connect us with Indra. Please please make us get the money we want from them. (6)
उद्धेदभि श्रुतामघं वृषमं नर्यापसम् । अस्तारमेषि सूर्य ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप सूर्य के समान प्रकाशमान हैं. आप धनवान, शक्तिमान, यशस्वी व हितैषी हैं. आप दानशील मनुष्यों के पास पहुंचते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are as bright as the sun. You are rich, powerful, successful and friendly. You reach out to charitable human beings. (7)
नव यो नवतिं पुरो बिभेद बाह्वोजसा । अहिं च वृत्रहावधीत् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अपनी भुजाओं के ओज से दुश्मनों के निन्यानवे ठिकाने नष्ट करने वाले हैं. आप वृत्रासुर के नाशक हैं. आप हमें मनपसंद वैभव प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to destroy ninety-nine hideouts of enemies with the help of your arms. You are the destroyer of Vritrasura. Please give us the splendour of your choice. (8)
स न इन्द्रः शिवः सखाश्वावद्गोमद्यवमत् । उरुधारेव दोहते ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप हमारा कल्याण कीजिए. गाएं हमारी मित्र हैं. वे हमारे लिए जैसे अगणित धाराओं से दूध बरसाती हैं, वैसे ही आप भी हमारे लिए धन बरसाइए. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You do us welfare. Cows are our friends. Just as they rain milk for us from countless streams, you also shower money for us. (9)
