विश्वेभिरग्ने अग्निभिरिमं यज्ञमिदं वचः । चनो घाः सहसा यहो ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप समस्त अग्नियों के साथ यज्ञ में पधारिए. आप इस यज्ञ में हमारे वचन सुनिए. आप हमें अन्न प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! You come to the yajna with all the agnis. You listen to our words in this yajna. Please provide us food. (1)
यच्चिद्धि शश्वा तना देवन्देवं यजामहे । त्वे इद्धूयते हविः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम इंद्र, वरुण और अन्य देवताओं को हवि दे कर भजन करते हैं. वह सब आप तक पहुंचता है. (२)
EN English Translation
O agni! We worship Indra, Varuna and other gods. That's all it reaches you. (2)
प्रियो नो अस्तु विश्पतिर्होता मन्द्रो वरेण्यः । प्रियाः स्वग्नयो वयम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अग्नि हमें प्रिय हैं. वे विश्वपति, होता और वरेण्य हैं. उन्हें हम सब प्रिय हों. (३)
EN English Translation
Agni is dear to us. They are Vishwapati, Hota and Varenya. May we all be dear to them. (3)
इन्द्रं वो विश्वतस्परि हवामहे जनेभ्यः । अस्माकमस्तु केवलः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! इंद्र सभी लोकों से ऊपर हैं. लोगों के कल्याण के लिए हम उन का आह्वान करते हैं. आप की कृपा से हम सब का कल्याण हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O hosts! Indra is above all worlds. We call upon them for the welfare of the people. May it be the welfare of all of us by your grace. (4)
स नो वृषन्नमुं चरुँ सत्रादावन्नपा वृधि । अस्मभ्यमप्रतिष्कुतः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारे द्वारा समर्पित हवि ग्रहण कीजिए. हमारी इच्छाओं को खाली न लौटाएं. आप जल्दी से जल्दी फल देने वाले हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Accept the dedicated havi by us. Don't let our desires go blank. You are going to bear fruit as soon as possible. (5)
बृषा यूथेव वँसगः कृष्टीरियर्त्योजसा । ईशानो अप्रतिष्कुतः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप बलवान हैं. आप उसी तरह उपासकों की इच्छा पूरी करने जाते हैं, जैसे गायों के झुंड में बैल जाता है. आप ईश्वर हैं. आप हमारे विरोधी नहीं हो सकते. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are strong. You go to fulfill the wishes of worshippers in the same way as a bull goes in a herd of cows. You are God. You can't be our opponent. (6)
त्वं नश्चित्र ऊत्या वसो राधाँसि चोदय । अस्य रायस्त्वमग्ने रथीरसि विदा गाधं तुचे तु नः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप हमें संरक्षण दीजिए. आप जो धन अपने रथ से ले जाते हैं, वह हमें दीजिए. आप विलक्षण हैं. हमारी पीढ़ियां भी यशस्वी हों. (७)
EN English Translation
O agni! You give us protection. Give us the money you take away from your chariot. You are fantastic. May our generations also be successful. (7)
पर्षि तोकं तनयं पर्तृभिष्ट्वमदब्धैरप्रयुत्वभिः । अग्ने हेडाँसि दैव्या युयोधि नोऽदेवानि हराँसि च ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! आप सहयोगी व स्वतंत्र हैं. आप अपने रक्षा साधनों से हमारी व पीढ़ियों की रक्षा कीजिए. आप प्राकृतिक प्रकोपों और दुष्ट प्रवृत्तियों से हमें बचाइए. (८)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are cooperative and independent. You protect us and generations with your protective means. You save us from natural outbreaks and evil tendencies. (8)
किमित्ते विष्णो परिचक्षि नाम प्र यद्ववक्षे शिपिविष्टो अस्मि । मा वर्पो अस्मदप गूह एतद्यदन्यरूपः समिथे बभूथ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विष्णु! आप सर्वत्र व्याप्त हैं. आप अपना यह विराट् और व्यापक स्वरूप हम से छिपा कर (गुप्त) न रखिए. आप कितने ही रूप क्यों न धारण कर लें फिर भी आप हमारी रक्षा अवश्य करते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O Vishnu! You are everywhere. Don't hide this vast and comprehensive form of yours from us. No matter how many forms you wear, you definitely protect us. (9)
प्र तत्ते अद्य शिपिविष्ट हव्यमर्यः शँसामि वयुनानि विद्वान् । तं त्वा गृणामि तवसमतव्यान्क्षयन्तमस्य रजसः पराके ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विष्णु! आप रश्मिवान व आदरणीय हैं. मैं व विद्वान् भी आप की प्रशंसा करते हैं. हम आप के विष्णुलोक से दूर हैं, फिर भी हम अपने लोक से आप की वैसे ही प्रशंसा करते हैं, जैसे कोई छोटा भाई करता है. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Vishnu! You are rashmivan and respected. I and scholars also praise you. We are far from your Vishnulok, yet we praise you from our lok just like a younger brother does. (10)
वषट् ते विष्णवास आ कृणोमि तन्मे जुषस्व शिपिविष्ट हव्यम् । वर्धन्तु त्वा सुष्टुतयो गिरि मे यूयं पात स्वस्तभिः सदा नः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विष्णु! वषट्कार से हम आप को आमंत्रित करते हैं. आप रश्मिवान हैं. आप हमारी हवि को स्वीकारिए. हमारी अच्छी स्तुतियां आप की बढ़ोतरी करें. आप मंगलकारी आशीर्वादों से हमारा कल्याण करने की कृपा कीजिए. (११)
EN English Translation
O Vishnu! We invite you from all sides. You are Rashmivan. You accept our desire. May our good praises enhance yours. Please do us well-being with your auspicious blessings. (11)
