ऐतु॑ दे॒वस्त्रा॑यमाणः॒ कुष्ठो॑ हि॒मव॑त॒स्परि॑ । त॒क्मानं॒ सर्वं॑ नाशय॒ सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
कूठ नाम की विशेष ओषधि द्युलोक में उत्पन्न हुई है. यह हमारी रक्षा करती हुई हिमवान पर्वत से आए. वह सभी क्लेशकारी रोगों का नाश करे तथा सभी राक्षसियों को नष्ट करे. (१)
EN English Translation
A special medicine named Kooth has originated in Dulok. It came from Mount Himwan protecting us. May he destroy all the painful diseases and destroy all the demons. (1)
त्रीणि॑ ते कुष्ठ॒ नामा॑नि नद्यमा॒रो न॒द्यारि॑षः । नद्या॒यं पुरु॑सो रिषत् । यस्मै॑ परि॒ब्रवी॑मि त्वा सा॒यंप्रा॑त॒रथो॒ दिवा॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुष्ठ! तुम्हारे तीन नाम नद्यमार, नद्यारिष और नद्य हैं. तुम्हारा नाम लेने के अभाव में यह पुरुष हिंसित हुआ है. मैं रोग से दुःखी पुरुष के लिए तुम्हारा नाम मंत्र के रूप में बता रहा हूं. वह सायंकाल, प्रातः और दिन में तुम्हारे नाम का उच्चारण करे. (२)
EN English Translation
O leprosy! Your three names are Nadyamaar, Nadyarish and Nadya. This man has been rinsed for not taking your name. I am telling your name as a mantra for a man suffering from disease. He should pronounce your name in the evening, morning and day. (2)
जी॑व॒ला नाम॑ ते मा॒ता जी॑व॒न्तो नाम॑ ते पि॒ता । नद्या॒यं पुरु॑षो रिषत् । यस्मै॑ परि॒ब्रवी॑मि त्वा सा॒यंप्रा॑त॒रथो॒ दिवा॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुष्ठ नाम की ओषधि! जीवला तेरी माता है और जीवंत तेरे पिता हैं. तुम्हारा नाम न लेने के कारण इस पुरुष की हिंसा हुई है. मैं रोग से दुःखी पुरुष को तुम्हारा नाम मंत्र के रूप में प्रातः, सायं और दिन में उच्चारण हेतु बताता हूं. (३)
EN English Translation
O medicine called leprosy! Jeevla is your mother and Jeeva is your father. This man has been subjected to violence for not taking your name. I tell the man suffering from the disease your name as a mantra for pronunciation in the morning, evening and day. (3)
उ॑त्त॒मो अ॒स्योष॑धीनामन॒ड्वाञ्जग॑तामिव व्या॒घ्रः श्वप॑दामिव । नद्या॒यं पुरु॑षो रिषत् । यस्मै॑ परि॒ब्रवी॑मि त्वा सा॒यंप्रा॑त॒रथो॑ दिवा ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुष्ठ ओषधि! जिस प्रकार गति करने वाला बैल श्रेष्ठ है उसी प्रकार ओषधियों में तुम श्रेष्ठ हो. जंगली पशुओं में बाघ जिस प्रकार श्रेष्ठ है. उसी प्रकार तुम ओषधियों में श्रेष्ठ हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O leprosy medicine! Just as a moving bull is superior, so you are superior in medicines. The way tiger is superior among wild animals. In the same way, you are superior in medicines. (4)
त्रिः शाम्बु॑भ्यो॒ अङ्गि॑रेभ्य॒स्त्रिरा॑दि॒त्येभ्य॒स्परि॑ । त्रिर्जा॒तो वि॒श्वदे॑वेभ्यः । स कुष्ठो॑ वि॒श्वभे॑षजः सा॒कं सोमे॑न तिष्ठति । त॒क्मानं॒ सर्वं॑ नाशय॒ सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुष्ठ ओषधि! तुम अंगिरा गोत्रीय ऋषियों की संतान शांबु नाम के ऋषियों से तीन बार उत्पन्न हुए, आदित्यो से तीन बार उत्पन्न तथा विश्वे देवों से तीन बार उत्पन्न कहे जाते हो. सभी रोगों की ओषधि कुष्ठ सोम के साथ स्थित होती हैं. तुम सभी रोगों तथा सभी राक्षसियों का नाश करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O leprosy medicine! You are said to have been born three times to sages named Shambu, the children of Angira gotriya rishis, three times to Adityas and three times to vishwe devas. The medicine of all diseases is located with leprosy soma. You destroy all diseases and all demons. (5)
अ॑श्व॒त्थो दे॑व॒सद॑नस्तृ॒तीय॑स्यामि॒तो दि॒वि । तत्रा॒मृत॑स्य॒ चक्ष॑णं॒ ततः॒ कुष्ठो॑ अजायत । स कुष्ठो॑ वि॒श्वभे॑षजः सा॒कं सोमे॑न तिष्ठति । त॒क्मानं॒ सर्वं॑ नाशय॒ सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इस भूलोक से तीसरे झुलोक अर्थात् स्वर्ग में देवों का घर पीपल का वृक्ष है. उस पीपल पर मरण रहित सोम उत्पन्न हुआ है. उस सोम से कुष्ठ ओषधि उत्पन्न हुई है. सभी रोगों की ओषधि यह कुष्ठ सोम के साथ स्थित होता है. हे कुष्ठ! तुम सभी रोगों और सभी राक्षसियों का नाश करो. (६)
EN English Translation
The third jhuloka from this land is the peepal tree, that is, the house of gods in heaven. Som without death has been born on that peepal. Leprosy medicine has been born from that Som. The medicine of all diseases, it is located with leprosy Soma. O leprosy! You destroy all diseases and all demons. (6)
हि॑र॒ण्ययी॒ नौर॑चर॒द्धिर॑ण्यबन्धना दि॒वि । तत्रा॒मृत॑स्य॒ चक्ष॑णं॒ ततः॒ कुष्ठो॑ अजायत । स कुष्ठो॑ वि॒श्वभे॑षजः सा॒कं सोमे॑न तिष्ठति । त॒क्मानं॒ सर्वं॑ नाशय॒ सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्वर्ग में सोने से बनी रस्सी से बंधी हुई सोने की नाव घूमती रहती है. वहां मरणरहित सोम की उत्पत्ति हुई है. उस सोम से कुष्ठ उत्पन्न हुआ है. सभी रोगों की ओषधि यह कुष्ठ सोम के साथ स्थित रहता है. हे कुष्ठ! तुम सभी रोगों और राक्षसियों का विनाश करो. (७)
EN English Translation
In heaven, the gold boat tied to a rope made of gold keeps moving. There is the origin of the deathless Som. Leprosy has originated from that Som. The medicine of all diseases, it is located with leprosy Som. O leprosy! You destroy all diseases and demons. (7)
यत्र॒ नाव॑प्र॒भ्रंश॑नं॒ यत्र॑ हि॒मव॑तः॒ शिरः॑ । तत्रा॒मृत॑स्य॒ चक्ष॑णं॒ ततः॒ कुष्ठो॑ अजायत । स कु॑ष्ठो वि॒श्वभे॑षजः सा॒कं सोमे॑न तिष्ठति । त॒क्मानं॒ सर्वं॑ नाशय॒ सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस स्वर्ग से उत्तम कर्म करने वालों का पतन नहीं होता तथा जहां हिमवान पर्वत शीश अर्थात् सब से ऊंचा शिखर है वहां अमृत की स्थिति है. उस अमृत से कुष्ठ उत्पन्न हुआ है. सभी रोगों की ओषधि कुष्ठ वहां स्वर्ग में सोम से संबंधित रहता है. हे कुष्ठ! सभी रोगों और राक्षसियों का विनाश करो. (८)
EN English Translation
From heaven, those who do good deeds do not fall and where there is a snow mountain head, that is, the highest peak, there is a state of nectar. Leprosy has been born from that nectar. Leprosy, the medicine of all diseases, is related to Soma in heaven there. O leprosy! Destroy all diseases and demons. (8)
यं त्वा॒ वेद॒ पूर्व॒ इक्ष्वा॑को॒ यं वा॑ त्वा कुष्ठ का॒म्यः । यं वा॒ वसो॒ यमात्स्य॒स्तेना॑सि वि॒श्वभे॑षजः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे कुष्ठ नाम की ओषधि! तुम को इक्ष्वाकु वंश के प्राचीन राजा जानते थे तथा तुझ को कामदेव का पुत्र जान गया था. तुम्हें वसु नाम का देवता जानता था. इस कारण तुम सभी रोगों की ओषधि हो, तुम्हें सभी रोगों के विनाश के रूप में जाना जाता है. (९)
EN English Translation
O medicine called leprosy! You were known to be the ancient kings of the Ikshvaku dynasty and you were considered to be the son of Cupid. You knew a god named Vasu. Because of this, you are the medicine of all diseases, you are known as the destruction of all diseases. (9)
शी॑र्षलो॒कं तृती॑यकं सद॒न्दिर्यश्च॑ हाय॒नः । त॒क्मानं॑ विश्वधावीर्याध॒राञ्चं॒ परा॑ सुव ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
तृतीय लोक अर्थात् स्वर्ग को तुम्हारा शीश कहा जाता है. वह सभी रोगों का खंडन करने वाला हो. हे सभी प्रकार की शक्तियों से युक्त कुष्ठ! तुम सभी रोगों को तथा नीचे होने वाले पतन को हम से दूर करो. (१०)
EN English Translation
The third world i.e. heaven is called your head. He is going to refute all diseases. O leprosy with all kinds of powers! Remove all the diseases and the fall down from us. (10)
