इन्द्रो॑ दधी॒चो अ॒स्थभि॑र्वृ॒त्राण्यप्र॑तिष्कुतः । ज॒घान॑ नव॒तीर्नव॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र कभी भी युद्ध से पीछे नहीं हटते हैं. उन्होंने ही वृत्र असुर के निन्यानवे वृत्रों राक्षसो का विनाश किया था. (१)
EN English Translation
Indra never backs out of war. It was he who destroyed ninety-nine Vritra rakshasas of Vritra Asura. (1)
इ॒च्छनश्व॑स्य॒ यच्छिरः॒ पर्व॑ते॒ष्वप॑श्रितम् । तद्वि॑दच्छर्य॒णाव॑ति ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पर्वतों में छिपे हुए अपने घोड़े का सिर प्राप्त करने के इच्छुक इंद्र ने शर्यणावत में प्राप्त किया था, तब उस का वज्र बना कर उन्होंने असुरों का वध किया था. (२)
EN English Translation
Indra, who wanted to get the head of his horse hidden in the mountains, had received it in Sharyanavat, then he killed the asuras by making a thunderbolt of it. (2)
अत्राह॒ गोर॑मन्वत॒ नाम॒ त्वष्टु॑रपी॒च्यम् । इ॒त्था च॒न्द्रम॑सो गृ॒हे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
चंद्र मंडल एक ग्रह है. उस में सूर्य रूपी इंद्र ही अपनी एक किरण में विराजते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The lunar system is a planet. In that, Indra, the form of the sun, sits in one of his rays. (3)
