त्रिक॑द्रुकेषु महि॒षो यवा॑शिरं तुवि॒शुष्म॑स्तृ॒पत्सोम॑मपिब॒द्विष्णु॑ना सु॒तं य॒थाव॑शत् । स ईं॑ ममाद॒ महि॒ कर्म॒ कर्त॑वे म॒हामु॒रुं सैनं॑ सश्चद्दे॒वो दे॒वं स॒त्यमिन्द्रं॑ स॒त्य इन्दुः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे इंद्र त्रिकद्रुक नाम के सोम पात्रों में सोमरस पीते हैं और जौ आदि मिश्रण से तृप्ति प्राप्त करते हैं. इंद्र विष्णु द्वारा तैयार किए गए सोमरस पर अधिकार करते हैं, क्योंकि वह सोमरस उन्हें बल प्रदान करता है और उन में सुसंगत होता है. (१)
EN English Translation
They drink someras in som characters named Indra Trikdruk and get satisfaction from the mixture of barley etc. Indra takes over the Someras prepared by Vishnu, because that Someras gives him strength and is consistent in them. (1)
प्रो ष्व॑स्मै पुरोर॒थमिन्द्रा॑य शू॒षम॑र्चत । अ॒भीके॑ चिदु लोक॒कृत्सं॒गे स॒मत्सु॑ वृत्र॒हास्माकं॑ बोधि चोदि॒ता नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! इंद्र के बल की पूजा करो तथा इंद्र की आराधना करो. इंद्र युद्धों में शत्रुओं को मारते हैं. अन्य पुरुषों की प्रत्यंचाएं उन के धनुषों पर न चढ़ पाएं. प्रेरणा करने वाले ये इंद्र हमारी स्तुति को जान गए हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Swami! Worship the force of Indra and worship Indra. Indra kills enemies in wars. The suffixes of other men could not climb on their bows. These inspirational Indras have come to know our praise. (2)
त्वं सिन्धूँ॒रवा॑सृजोऽध॒राचो॒ अह॒न्नहि॑म् । अ॑श॒त्रुरि॑न्द्र जज्ञिषे॒ विश्वं॑ पुष्यसि॒ वार्यं॒ तं त्वा॒ परि॑ ष्वजामहे॒ नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम ने मेघ का वध कर के सरिताओं को दक्षिण दिशा की ओर बहने वाला बनाया. तुम सब वरणीय पदार्थो को पुष्ट करते तथा शत्रुओं का नाश करते हो. हम तुम्हें हृदय से लगाते हैं. अन्य पुरुषों की प्रत्यंचाएं उन के धनुषों पर न चढ़ सकें. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You killed the cloud and made the streams flow towards the south direction. You reinforce all the evil things and destroy the enemies. We hold you to the heart. The other men's suffixes could not climb on their bows. (3)
वि षु विश्वा॒ अरा॑तयो॒ऽर्यो न॑शन्त नो॒ धियः॑ । अस्ता॑सि॒ शत्र॑वे व॒धं यो न॑ इन्द्र॒ जिघां॑सति॒ या ते॑ रा॒तिर्द॒दिर्वसु॑ । नभ॑न्तामन्य॒केषां॑ ज्या॒का अधि॒ धन्व॑सु ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्वामी इंद्र! हमारे सभी शत्रुओं की बुद्धियां नष्ट हों. जो शत्रु हमारी हिंसा की कामना करते हैं, तुम उन पर मृत्यु का साधन अपना वज्र चलाओ तथा हमें धन प्रदान करो. अन्य पुरुषों की प्रत्यंचाएं उन के धनुषों पर न चढ़ पाएं. (४)
EN English Translation
O Swami Indra! May the intellects of all our enemies be destroyed. The enemies who desire our violence, you should run your thunderbolt on them as a means of death and give us wealth. Other men's wings could not climb their bows. (4)
