Kanda 6 • Sukta 60
अ॒यमा या॑त्यर्य॒मा पु॒रस्ता॒द्विषि॑तस्तुपः । अ॒स्या इ॒च्छन्न॒ग्रुवै॒ पति॑मु॒त जा॒याम॒जान॑ये ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिन की किरणें विशेष रूप से उजली हैं, वह सूर्य पूर्व दिशा में उग रहे हैं. वह इस पति रहित कन्या को पति और स्त्रीहीन पुरुष को पत्नी प्रदान करने की इच्छा से उदय हो रहे हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Those whose rays are particularly bright, the sun is rising in the east direction. He is rising with a desire to provide a husband to this husbandless girl and a wife to a womanless man. (1)
अश्र॑मदि॒यम॑र्यमन्न॒न्यासां॒ सम॑नं य॒ती । अ॒ङ्गो न्वर्यमन्न॒स्या अ॒न्याः सम॑न॒माय॑ति ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्यमा देव! अन्य पतिव्रता नारियों ने पतियों को पाने के उपायों के रूप में शांति पाने के लिए जिन कर्मो को किया था, उन्हें पति की अभिलाषा करने वाली यह कन्या कर चुकी है तथा पति को प्राप्त न करने के कारण दुःखी है. अन्य स्त्रियां इस पतिकामा की शांति के उपाय कर रही हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Aryama Dev! The rituals that other pativrata women had done to get peace as a way to get husbands, this girl who desires her husband has done and is sad due to not getting her husband. Other women are taking measures for the peace of this husband. (2)
धा॒ता दा॑धार पृथि॒वीं धा॒ता द्यामु॒त सूर्य॑म् । धा॒तास्या अ॒ग्रुवै॒ पतिं॒ दधा॑तु प्रतिका॒म्यम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
संपूर्ण जगत् के धारणकर्ता विधाता ने इस पृथ्वी को धारण किया है. उसी ने द्युलोक को भी धारण किया है. धाता ही इस पति की कामना करने वाली कन्या को पति दें, क्योंकि वह जगत् का नियंत्रण करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The creator of the whole world has possessed this earth. He has also worn the Dulok. Give a husband to the girl who wishes for this husband, because he controls the world. (3)
