ऋ॒ष॒भं मा॑ समा॒नानां॑ स॒पत्ना॑नां विषास॒हिम् । ह॒न्तारं॒ शत्रू॑णां कृधि वि॒राजं॒ गोप॑तिं॒ गवा॑म् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! मुझे समान व्यक्तियों का प्रमुख, शत्रुओं का पराजयकर्ता, विरोधियों का नाशक एवं गायों का स्वामी तथा विशेषरूप से सुशोभित बनाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Make me the chief of equal persons, the defeater of enemies, the destroyer of opponents and the lord of cows and especially beautify. (1)
अ॒हम॑स्मि सपत्न॒हेन्द्र॑ इ॒वारि॑ष्टो॒ अक्ष॑तः । अ॒धः स॒पत्ना॑ मे प॒दोरि॒मे सर्वे॑ अ॒भिष्ठि॑ताः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं शत्रुओं को नष्ट करने वाला हूं एवं इंद्र के समान अपराजित तथा अहिंसित हूं. ये सभी शत्रु मेरे चरणों में पड़े हुए हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
I am going to destroy enemies and i am as undefeated and non-violent as Indra. All these enemies are at my feet. (2)
अत्रै॒व वोऽपि॑ नह्याम्यु॒भे आर्त्नी॑ इव॒ ज्यया॑ । वाच॑स्पते॒ नि षे॑धे॒मान्यथा॒ मदध॑रं॒ वदा॑न् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शन्रुओ! जिस प्रकार धनुष के दोनों सिरे डोरी से बांधे जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार मैं तुम्हें पाशों से बांधता हूं. हे वाचस्पति! इन्हें मना कर दो कि मेरी बात के बीच में न बोलें. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Shanruo! Just as both ends of the bow are tied with strings, so I bind you with loops. This is the reader! Forbid them not to speak in the middle of my words. (3)
अ॒भि॒भूर॒हमाग॑मं वि॒श्वक॑र्मेण॒ धाम्ना॑ । आ व॑श्चि॒त्तमा वो॑ व्र॒तमा वो॒ऽहं समि॑तिं ददे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं इस समस्त कार्य करने वाले अपने तेज से शत्रुओं को पराजित करने आया हूं. हे शत्रुओ! मैं तुम्हारे मन, कार्य एवं संगठन को छीनता हूं. (४)
EN English Translation
I have come to defeat the enemies with my own swiftness who do all this work. O enemies! I take away your mind, work and organization. (4)
यो॒ग॒क्षे॒मं व॑ आ॒दाया॒हं भू॑यासमुत्त॒म आ वो॑ मू॒र्धान॑मक्रमीम् । अ॒ध॒स्प॒दान्म॒ उद्व॑दत म॒ण्डूका॑ इवोद॒कान्म॒ण्डूका॑ उद॒कादि॑व ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुओ! मैं तुम्हारा योगक्षेम छीनकर तुम्हारी अपेक्षा उत्तम हुआ हूं. मैं तुम्हारे सिर पर चढ़ गया हूं. जिस प्रकार मेंढक पानी में बोलते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम मेरे पैरों के नीचे चीत्कार करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O enemies! I have become better than you by taking away your yogaksham. I've climbed on your head. Just as the frogs speak in the water, so do you scream under my feet. (5)
