प्र वो॑ दे॒वाया॒ग्नये॒ बर्हि॑ष्ठमर्चास्मै । गम॑द्दे॒वेभि॒रा स नो॒ यजि॑ष्ठो ब॒र्हिरा स॑दत् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे होताओ! अग्नि देव को लक्ष्य करके यथेष्ट मात्रा में स्तुति करो. यज्ञकर्तताओं में श्रेष्ठ अग्ने देवों के साथ हमारे समीप आवें एवं कुश पर बैठे. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey, it was! Aim at the God of Fire and praise him in sufficient measure. The best of the yajnakartas sat with the Agne Devas near us and on the Kusha. (1)
ऋ॒तावा॒ यस्य॒ रोद॑सी॒ दक्षं॒ सच॑न्त ऊ॒तयः॑ । ह॒विष्म॑न्त॒स्तमी॑ळते॒ तं स॑नि॒ष्यन्तोऽव॑से ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
द्यावापृथ्वी जिस अग्नि के वश में हैं, देव उसके बल की सेवा करते हैं. वह सत्यकर्म वाला है. (२)
EN English Translation
The god serves the force of the agni with which the devapatrithvi is in control of. He is a true-doer. (2)
स य॒न्ता विप्र॑ एषां॒ स य॒ज्ञाना॒मथा॒ हि षः । अ॒ग्निं तं वो॑ दुवस्यत॒ दाता॒ यो वनि॑ता म॒घम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! मेधावी अग्नि यजमानों, यज्ञों एवं सोम के नियामक, कर्मफल एवं महान् धन के दाता हैं. तुम उन्हीं अग्नि की सेवा करो. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! The meritorious agni hosts are the regulators of yagnas and somas, the givers of karmaphal and great wealth. You serve those agnis. (3)
स नः॒ शर्मा॑णि वी॒तये॒ऽग्निर्य॑च्छतु॒ शंत॑मा । यतो॑ नः प्रु॒ष्णव॒द्वसु॑ दि॒वि क्षि॒तिभ्यो॑ अ॒प्स्वा ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे अग्नि हम हव्यदाताओं के लिए सुखकारक घर प्रदान करें. अग्नि के पास से धरती, आकाश और स्वर्ग का उत्तम धन हमारे पास आवे. (४)
EN English Translation
They agni we provide soothing houses for the havyadatas. Let the earth, the heavens, and the fine wealth of heaven come to us from the agni. (4)
दी॒दि॒वांस॒मपू॑र्व्यं॒ वस्वी॑भिरस्य धी॒तिभिः॑ । ऋक्वा॑णो अ॒ग्निमि॑न्धते॒ होता॑रं वि॒श्पतिं॑ वि॒शाम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तुति करते हुए होता आदि दीप्तिमान्, प्रतिक्षण नवीन, देवों को बुलाने वाले तथा प्रजाओं के परम पालक अग्नि को उत्तम स्तुतियों द्वारा प्रज्वलित करते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
The adi Deeptiman, the pratikshan navin, the one who calls the gods and the supreme guardian of the people, ignites the agni with the best of praises. (5)
उ॒त नो॒ ब्रह्म॑न्नविष उ॒क्थेषु॑ देव॒हूत॑मः । शं नः॑ शोचा म॒रुद्वृ॒धोऽग्ने॑ सहस्र॒सात॑मः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! स्तुति करते समय हम यज्ञकर्त्ताओं की रक्षा करो. हे देवों को बुलाने वालों में शरेष्ठ! मंत्र बोलते समय हमारी रक्षा करो. हे मरुतों द्वारा बधित एवं हजारों धनों के दाता अग्नि! हमारा सुख बढ़ाओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O agni! While praising, we protect the yajnakartas. O you are among those who call the gods! Protect us while speaking mantras. O agni, bound by the maruts and the giver of thousands of riches! Increase our happiness. (6)
नू नो॑ रास्व स॒हस्र॑वत्तो॒कव॑त्पुष्टि॒मद्वसु॑ । द्यु॒मद॑ग्ने सु॒वीर्यं॒ वर्षि॑ष्ठ॒मनु॑पक्षितम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हमें पुत्र-पौत्र युक्त, पोषण करने वाला, दीप्तिमान् एवं शोभनशक्ति युक्त हजारों प्रकार का क्षयरहित धन दो. (७)
EN English Translation
O agni! Give us thousands of kinds of non-decaying wealth with sons and grandsons, nourishing, with a lot of glory and abilities. (7)
