आ तू न॑ इन्द्र म॒द्र्य॑ग्घुवा॒नः सोम॑पीतये । हरि॑भ्यां याह्यद्रिवः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वज्रधारी इंद्र! होताओं द्वारा बुलाए हुए तुम हरि नामक घोड़ों की सहायता से सोम पीने के लिए मेरे यज्ञ में मेरे सामने जल्दी आओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O thunderbolt Indra! Come quickly before me in front of me to drink som with the help of horses called You Hari. (1)
स॒त्तो होता॑ न ऋ॒त्विय॑स्तिस्ति॒रे ब॒र्हिरा॑नु॒षक् । अयु॑ज्रन्प्रा॒तरद्र॑यः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारे यज्ञ में तुम्हें बुलाने के लिए होता ठीक समय पर बैठ चुका है. कुशों को एक-दूसरे से मिलाकर बिछाया गया है एवं प्रातःसवन में सोम निचोड़ने के लिए पत्थर एक- दूसरे से मिल गए हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Our yajna would have to call you to have sat down at the right time. The kushas have been mixed with each other and the stones have merged with each other in the morning to squeeze the som. (2)
इ॒मा ब्रह्म॑ ब्रह्मवाहः क्रि॒यन्त॒ आ ब॒र्हिः सी॑द । वी॒हि शू॑र पुरो॒ळाश॑म् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुतियों द्वारा मिलने वाले इंद्र! तुम्हारे लिए ये स्तुतियां की जा रही हैं. तुम इन कुशाओं पर भली प्रकार बैठो. हे शूर! इस पुरोडाश को खाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra of praise! These praises are being made for you. You sit well on these cushions. Oh, Shur! Eat this purodash. (3)
रा॒र॒न्धि सव॑नेषु ण ए॒षु स्तोमे॑षु वृत्रहन् । उ॒क्थेष्वि॑न्द्र गिर्वणः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुतियों द्वारा प्रशंसनीय एवं वृत्रहंता इंद्र! हमारे द्वारा बोले गए तीनों स्तोत्रों एवं उकथों में रमण करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra admired and praised by the praises! Rejoice in the three hymns and hymns we have spoken. (4)
म॒तयः॑ सोम॒पामु॒रुं रि॒हन्ति॒ शव॑स॒स्पति॑म् । इन्द्रं॑ व॒त्सं न मा॒तरः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे महान्, सोमपानकर्ता एवं शक्ति के स्वामी इंद्र! जिस प्रकार गाएं बछड़ों को चाटती हैं, उसी प्रकार हमारी स्तुतियां तुम्हें चाटती हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O great, the sompaaner and lord of power Indra! Just as cows lick calves, so our praises lick you. (5)
स म॑न्दस्वा॒ ह्यन्ध॑सो॒ राध॑से त॒न्वा॑ म॒हे । न स्तो॒तारं॑ नि॒दे क॑रः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमें अधिक धन देने के लिए सोमरस द्वारा तुम शरीरसहित प्रसन्न रहो एवं मुझ स्तोता को निंदा का विषय मत बनाओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! To give us more money, please you along with the body by somras and do not make my hymn a subject of condemnation. (6)
व॒यमि॑न्द्र त्वा॒यवो॑ ह॒विष्म॑न्तो जरामहे । उ॒त त्वम॑स्म॒युर्व॑सो ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! यज्ञ में तुम्हें बुलाने के इच्छुक हम हवि लेकर तुम्हारी स्तुति करते हैं, हे वास देने वाले इंद्र! तुम भी हवि स्वीकार करने वाले के लिए हमारी इच्छा करो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Willing to call you to the yagna, we praise you with a havi, O indra who dwells! You also wish us for the one who accepts the havi. (7)
मारे अ॒स्मद्वि मु॑मुचो॒ हरि॑प्रिया॒र्वाङ्या॑हि । इन्द्र॑ स्वधावो॒ मत्स्वे॒ह ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरि नामक घोड़ों को प्यार करने वाले इंद्र! हमसे दूरवर्ती स्थान में घोड़ों को रथ से अलग मत करो एवं हमारे पास आओ. हे सोमयुक्त इंद्र! इस यज्ञ में प्रसन्न रहो. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra who loves horses called Hari! Do not separate the horses from the chariot in a place far away from us and come to us. O Somayukta Indra! Be happy in this yajna. (8)
अ॒र्वाञ्चं॑ त्वा सु॒खे रथे॒ वह॑तामिन्द्र के॒शिना॑ । घृ॒तस्नू॑ ब॒र्हिरा॒सदे॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
लंबे बालों वाले एवं पसीने से भीगे हुए घोड़े तुम्हें सुखदायक रथ पर बैठाकर बैठने योग्य कुशों के सामने एवं हमारे पास लावें. (९)
EN English Translation
Long-haired and sweat-soaked horses bring you on a soothing chariot in front of the seating kushas and near us. (9)
