उप॑ नः सु॒तमा ग॑हि॒ सोम॑मिन्द्र॒ गवा॑शिरम् । हरि॑भ्यां॒ यस्ते॑ अस्म॒युः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारे द्वारा निचोड़े गए एवं दूध से मिले हुए सोम के समीप आओ. हरि नामक घोड़ों से युक्त तुम्हारा रथ हमारी अभिलाषा करता है. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come near the mon, squeezed by us and mixed with milk. Your chariot with horses called Hari desires us. (1)
तमि॑न्द्र॒ मद॒मा ग॑हि बर्हिः॒ष्ठां ग्राव॑भिः सु॒तम् । कु॒विन्न्व॑स्य तृ॒प्णवः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! पत्थरों द्वारा निचोड़े गए एवं कुशों पर रखे हुए सोम के समीप आओ व इसको पीकर तृप्त होओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come near the mon, squeezed by stones and placed on the cushions, and drink it and be satisfied. (2)
इन्द्र॑मि॒त्था गिरो॒ ममाच्छा॑गुरिषि॒ता इ॒तः । आ॒वृते॒ सोम॑पीतये ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र के लिए प्रेरित हमारी स्तुतिरूपी वाणी उन्हें सोमपान के लिए बुलाने हेतु इस स्थान से इंद्र के सामने जाए. (३)
EN English Translation
Our praiseworthy voice, inspired by Indra, should go in front of Indra from this place to call him to Sompan. (3)
इन्द्रं॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॒ स्तोमै॑रि॒ह ह॑वामहे । उ॒क्थेभिः॑ कु॒विदा॒गम॑त् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम स्तोत्रों और उक्थों के द्वारा इंद्र को सोमपान के लिए यज्ञ में बुलाते हैं. अनेक बार बुलाए हुए इंद्र आवें. (४)
EN English Translation
We call Indra to the yagna for the somapan through the hymns and the ukthas. Indra comes to be called several times. (4)
इन्द्र॒ सोमाः॑ सु॒ता इ॒मे तान्द॑धिष्व शतक्रतो । ज॒ठरे॑ वाजिनीवसो ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शतक्रतु इंद्र एवं अन्नरूपी धन वाले इंद्र! ये सोम निचोड़े गए हैं. इन्हें अपने उदर में धारण करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Sahartu Indra and Indra with wealth of anaroopi! These mons are squeezed. Hold them in your stomach. (5)
वि॒द्मा हि त्वा॑ धनंज॒यं वाजे॑षु दधृ॒षं क॑वे । अधा॑ ते सु॒म्नमी॑महे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे क्रांतदर्शी इंद्र! हम तुम्हें युद्धों में शत्रुओं को हराने वाला एवं धन जीतने वाला जानते हैं, इसलिए तुमसे धन मांगते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O revolutionary Indra! We know you to defeat enemies in wars and win money, so we ask you for money. (6)
इ॒ममि॑न्द्र॒ गवा॑शिरं॒ यवा॑शिरं च नः पिब । आ॒गत्या॒ वृष॑भिः सु॒तम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! यज्ञस्थल में आकर गोदुग्ध एवं जौ मिले हुए तथा पत्थरों की सहायता से निचोड़े गए सोम को पिओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come to the yajna sthal and drink the soma mixed with godhugdha and barley and squeezed with the help of stones. (7)
तुभ्येदि॑न्द्र॒ स्व ओ॒क्ये॒३॒॑ सोमं॑ चोदामि पी॒तये॑ । ए॒ष रा॑रन्तु ते हृ॒दि ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे पीने के लिए ही हम इस सोम को अपने उदर की और प्रेरित करते हैं. यह सोम तुम्हारे हृदय में रमण करे. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! It is only for your drinking that we make this mon and inspire your stomach. May this mon delight in your heart. (8)
त्वां सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ प्र॒त्नमि॑न्द्र हवामहे । कु॒शि॒कासो॑ अव॒स्यवः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पुरातन इंद्र! तुमसे रक्षा की अभिलाषा करते हुए हम कुशिकगोत्रीय ऋषि स्तुति वाक्यों द्वारा तुम्हें सोम पीने के लिए बुलाते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
O ancient Indra! Wishing to protect you, we call you to drink som by the kushikgotriya sage hymns. (9)
