परि॑ सुवा॒नो गि॑रि॒ष्ठाः प॒वित्रे॒ सोमो॑ अक्षाः । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये सोम दशापवित्र पर गिरते हैं एवं निचोड़े जाने के समय पाषाणों पर स्थित रहते हैं. हे सोम! तुम नशीली वस्तुओं में सर्वोत्तम हो. (१)
EN English Translation
These soms fall on the dashapavittra and are located on the stones at the time of being squeezed. Hey Mon! You're the best at drugs. (1)
त्वं विप्र॒स्त्वं क॒विर्मधु॒ प्र जा॒तमन्ध॑सः । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विविध प्रकार से प्रसन्न करने वाले एवं मेधावी सोम! तुम अन्न से उत्पन्न मधुर रस दो. तुम मादक पदार्थो में सर्वश्रेष्ठ हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O a wonderful and brilliant Mon, who is pleasing in various ways! You give the sweet juice produced from the grain. You are the best in drugs. (2)
तव॒ विश्वे॑ स॒जोष॑सो दे॒वासः॑ पी॒तिमा॑शत । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! सभी देव समान रूप से प्रसन्न होकर तुम्हें प्राप्त करते हैं. तुम नशीली वस्तुओं में सबसे उत्तम हो. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! All gods receive you equally pleased. You're the best at drugs. (3)
आ यो विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ वसू॑नि॒ हस्त॑योर्द॒धे । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो सोम सभी वरण योग्य धनों को स्तोताओं के हाथों में देते हैं, वे सभी नशीली वस्तुओं में उत्तम हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The mons who give all the selectable wealth into the hands of the stotas are the best of all the drugs. (4)
य इ॒मे रोद॑सी म॒ही सं मा॒तरे॑व॒ दोह॑ते । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस प्रकार एक बालक दो माताओं का दूध पीता है, उसी प्रकार सोम द्यावा-पृथिवी दोनों को दुहते हैं. सोम सभी मादक पदार्थों में शरेष्ठ हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Just as a child drinks the milk of two mothers, so Som milks both The Divas and The Earth. Mon is a shashta in all drugs. (5)
परि॒ यो रोद॑सी उ॒भे स॒द्यो वाजे॑भि॒रर्ष॑ति । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोम शीघ्र ही अन्नों द्वारा द्यावा-पृथिवी को ढक देते हैं. सोम सभी नशीले पदार्थो के धारक हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The som soon covers the dyava-prithvi with grains. Mon is the holder of all drugs. (6)
स शु॒ष्मी क॒लशे॒ष्वा पु॑ना॒नो अ॑चिक्रदत् । मदे॑षु सर्व॒धा अ॑सि ॥ (७)

ये बली सोम शोधित होने के समय कलश के नीचे शब्द करते हैं. (७)

These bali som words under the kalash at the time of being refined. (7)
