पव॑स्व देव॒वीरति॑ प॒वित्रं॑ सोम॒ रंह्या॑ । इन्द्र॑मिन्दो॒ वृषा वि॑श ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम देवाभिलाषी बनकर वेग से निचुड़ो तथा पवित्र बनो. हे अभिलाषापूरक सोम! तुम इंद्र में प्रवेश करो. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You must become a godly person, walk away swiftly and become holy. He is a wishy Mon! You enter Indra. (1)
आ व॑च्यस्व॒ महि॒ प्सरो॒ वृषे॑न्दो द्यु॒म्नव॑त्तमः । आ योनिं॑ धर्ण॒सिः स॑दः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे महान्! अभिलाषापूरक, अतिशय यशस्वी तथा सबको धारण करने वाले सोम! तुम जल के रूप में हमारे पास आओ एवं अपने स्थान पर बैठो. (२)
EN English Translation
Oh great! Wishful, very successful and possessive of all! Come to us as water and sit in your place. (2)
अधु॑क्षत प्रि॒यं मधु॒ धारा॑ सु॒तस्य॑ वे॒धसः॑ । अ॒पो व॑सिष्ट सु॒क्रतुः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
निचोड़े हुए एवं अभिलाषापूरक सोमरस की प्रिय उंगलियां मधु को दुहती हैं. शोभनकर्म वाले सोम जल को ढकते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The beloved fingers of the squeezed and desireful Somras milk madhu. The somas with shobhankarma cover the water. (3)
म॒हान्तं॑ त्वा म॒हीरन्वापो॑ अर्षन्ति॒ सिन्ध॑वः । यद्गोभि॑र्वासयि॒ष्यसे॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे महान् सोम! यज्ञ में जिस समय तुम्हें गोदुग्ध की धाराएं ढकती हैं, उस समय बहने वाले महान् जल तुम्हारी ओर आते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O great Mon! In the yajna, at the time when the streams of godgadh cover you, the great water that flows comes towards you. (4)
स॒मु॒द्रो अ॒प्सु मा॑मृजे विष्ट॒म्भो ध॒रुणो॑ दि॒वः । सोमः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अस्म॒युः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
रसक्षरण करने वाले एवं स्वर्ग के धारणकर्तता सोम संसार को धारण करते हुए हमें चाहते हैं एवं जल में शुद्ध होते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
The raspanakaras and the possessors of heaven, soma, holding the world, wants us and is cleansed in water. (5)
अचि॑क्रद॒द्वृषा॒ हरि॑र्म॒हान्मि॒त्रो न द॑र्श॒तः । सं सूर्ये॑ण रोचते ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
कामवर्षक हरितवर्ण, महान् एवं मित्र के समान दर्शनीय सोम क्रंदन करते एवं सूर्य के समान चमकते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The workmen perform the spectacular som snoring like greenish, great and friend and shine like the sun. (6)
गिर॑स्त इन्द॒ ओज॑सा मर्मृ॒ज्यन्ते॑ अप॒स्युवः॑ । याभि॒र्मदा॑य॒ शुम्भ॑से ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! यज्ञकर्म की इच्छा संबंधी वे ही स्तुतियां तुम्हारे बल द्वारा शुद्ध होती हैं, जिन स्तुतियों द्वारा तुम प्रमत्त बनने के लिए सुशोभित होते हो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! The same praises of the will of yajnakarma are purified by your force, by the praises by which you are adorned to become a pramatta. (7)
तं त्वा॒ मदा॑य॒ घृष्व॑य उ लोककृ॒त्नुमी॑महे । तव॒ प्रश॑स्तयो म॒हीः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम्हारी प्रशंसाएं महान् हैं. तुमने शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाले यजमानों के लिए उत्तम लोगों की रचना की है. हम पद पाने के लिए तुम्हारी याचना करते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! Your compliments are great. You have created the best people for hosts who defeat enemies. We beg of you to get the post. (8)
अ॒स्मभ्य॑मिन्दविन्द्र॒युर्मध्वः॑ पवस्व॒ धार॑या । प॒र्जन्यो॑ वृष्टि॒माँ इ॑व ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र की अभिलाषा करने वाले सोम! तुम वर्षा करने वाले मेघ के समान हमारे सामने मादक अमृत की धाराओं के समान गिरो. (९)
EN English Translation
O Som who desires Indra! You fall before us like a raining cloud like streams of intoxicating nectar. (9)
गो॒षा इ॑न्दो नृ॒षा अ॑स्यश्व॒सा वा॑ज॒सा उ॒त । आ॒त्मा य॒ज्ञस्य॑ पू॒र्व्यः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यज्ञ की प्राचीन आत्मा सोम! तुम गाएं, संतान, घोड़े एवं अन्न देने वाले हो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O the ancient soul of yajna Mon! You sing, you are the children, the horse and the giver of food. (10)
