ए॒ते धा॑व॒न्तीन्द॑वः॒ सोमा॒ इन्द्रा॑य॒ घृष्व॑यः । म॒त्स॒रासः॑ स्व॒र्विदः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दीप्त शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाले, मस्त बनाने वाले एवं स्वर्ग प्राप्त कराने वाले सोम इंद्र के पास जाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Som, who defeats the bright enemies, who makes peace and attains heaven, goes to Indra. (1)
प्र॒वृ॒ण्वन्तो॑ अभि॒युजः॒ सुष्व॑ये वरिवो॒विदः॑ । स्व॒यं स्तो॒त्रे व॑य॒स्कृतः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
निचोड़ने की क्रिया का आश्रय लेने वाले एवं रस निचोड़ने वाले को धन प्राप्त कराने वाले सोम स्तोता को अन्न देते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Som, who takes shelter in the process of squeezing and who gets money to the juice squeezer, gives food to the stota. (2)
वृथा॒ क्रीळ॑न्त॒ इन्द॑वः स॒धस्थ॑म॒भ्येक॒मित् । सिन्धो॑रू॒र्मा व्य॑क्षरन् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अनायास क्रीड़ा करते हुए सोम एक साथ ही द्रोणकलश एवं वसतीवरी में टपकते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
While playing spontaneously, Som drips together in Dronakalash and Vasativari. (3)
ए॒ते विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ पव॑मानास आशत । हि॒ता न सप्त॑यो॒ रथे॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिस प्रकार रथ में जुड़े घोड़े रथ को मनचाहे स्थान की ओर ले जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार निचोड़े जाते हुए सोम हमें सभी प्रकार धन दें. (४)
EN English Translation
Just as the horses attached to the chariot lead the chariot to the desired place, so do the somas we get all the money while being squeezed. (4)
आस्मि॑न्पि॒शङ्ग॑मिन्दवो॒ दधा॑ता वे॒नमा॒दिशे॑ । यो अ॒स्मभ्य॒मरा॑वा ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! जो यजमान हमें चुपचाप दान करता है, उस अभिलाषा करने वाले यजमान को नाना प्रकार का धन दो. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! Give the host who donates to us quietly, give various kinds of money to the wishing host. (5)
ऋ॒भुर्न रथ्यं॒ नवं॒ दधा॑ता॒ केत॑मा॒दिशे॑ । शु॒क्राः प॑वध्व॒मर्ण॑सा ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! रथ का अधिपति जिस प्रकार रथ हांकने वाले को निर्देश देता है, उसी प्रकार तुम इस यजमान को ज्ञान दो एवं दीप्त होकर बरसो. (६)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! Just as the owner of the chariot instructs the one who drives the chariot, so do you give knowledge to this host and be radiant and rain down. (6)
ए॒त उ॒ त्ये अ॑वीवश॒न्काष्ठां॑ वा॒जिनो॑ अक्रत । स॒तः प्रासा॑विषुर्म॒तिम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये सोम यज्ञ की अभिलाषा करते हैं. अन्नयुक्त सोम ने द्रोणकलश से निकलकर यजमान के घर में अपना निवास बनाया एवं स्तोता की बुद्धि को प्रेरित किया. (७)
EN English Translation
They aspire for som yajna. Annayukta Som came out of Dronakalash and made his residence in the host's house and inspired the wisdom of the stota. (7)
