तम॑मृक्षन्त वा॒जिन॑मु॒पस्थे॒ अदि॑ते॒रधि॑ । विप्रा॑सो॒ अण्व्या॑ धि॒या ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मेधावी अध्वर्यु आदि वेगशाली सोम को धरती की गोद में अपनी उंगलियों और स्तुतियों द्वारा मसलते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The meritorious adhwaryu adis the fast-moving som with his fingers and eulogies in the lap of the earth. (1)
तं गावो॑ अ॒भ्य॑नूषत स॒हस्र॑धार॒मक्षि॑तम् । इन्दुं॑ ध॒र्तार॒मा दि॒वः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तुतियां अनेक धाराओं वाले, क्षीणतारहित, दीप्तिशाली एवं स्वर्ग को धारण करने वाले सोम की स्तुति करती हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The praises, praise the many-streamed, the one who can not be emasculated, the radiant and the heaven assuming Som. (2)
तं वे॒धां मे॒धया॑ह्य॒न्पव॑मान॒मधि॒ द्यवि॑ । ध॒र्ण॒सिं भूरि॑धायसम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
लोग सबको धारण करने वाले, अनेक कर्मों के कर्ता, विधाता एवं पवित्र होते हुए सोम को स्वर्ग की ओर भेजते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
People send Mon to heaven, wearing all, the doer of many deeds, being vidhata and sanctified. (3)
तम॑ह्यन्भु॒रिजो॑र्धि॒या सं॒वसा॑नं वि॒वस्व॑तः । पतिं॑ वा॒चो अदा॑भ्यम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सेवा करने वाले ऋत्विज् पात्र में रहने वाले, स्तुतियों के स्वामी एवं अहिंसनीय सोम को दोनों हाथों की उंगलियों के द्वारा आगे बढ़ाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
Those who live in the service-doer Ritviz patra, the master of praises and the non-violent monstrosity, move forward with the fingers of both hands. (4)
तं साना॒वधि॑ जा॒मयो॒ हरिं॑ हिन्व॒न्त्यद्रि॑भिः । ह॒र्य॒तं भूरि॑चक्षसम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
उंगलियां हरे रंग वाले, सुंदर एवं बहुतों को देखने वाले सोम को ऊंचे स्थान की ओर प्रेरित करती हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
The fingers inspire the green-colored, beautiful and many-looking Mon towards a higher place. (5)
तं त्वा॑ हिन्वन्ति वे॒धसः॒ पव॑मान गिरा॒वृध॑म् । इन्द॒विन्द्रा॑य मत्स॒रम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुतियों द्वारा बढ़ते हुए, दीप्तिशाली, नशीले एवं निचुड़ते हुए सोम! ऋत्विजा तुम्हें इंद्र के पास जाने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Mon, growing up by praises, glorious, intoxicating and dull! Ritwija inspires you to go to Indra. (6)
