प्र सोमा॑सः स्वा॒ध्य१॒ः॑ पव॑मानासो अक्रमुः । र॒यिं कृ॑ण्वन्ति॒ चेत॑नम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शोभनकर्म वाले एवं निचुड़ते हुए सोम हमें प्रसिद्ध करने वाला धन देते हुए कलश की ओर जा रहे हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The doy and the relaxing Mon is going towards the kalash giving us the money that will make us famous. (1)
दि॒वस्पृ॑थि॒व्या अधि॒ भवे॑न्दो द्युम्न॒वर्ध॑नः । भवा॒ वाजा॑नां॒ पतिः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अन्नों के स्वामी सोम! तुम झुलोक और धरती संबंधी दीप्तिशाली धन को बढ़ाने वाले बनो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Som, lord of the annas! Be the ones who increase the glorious wealth of the jhuloka and the earth. (2)
तुभ्यं॒ वाता॑ अभि॒प्रिय॒स्तुभ्य॑मर्षन्ति॒ सिन्ध॑वः । सोम॒ वर्ध॑न्ति ते॒ महः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! वायु तुम्हें तृप्ति देने वाले हैं एवं नदियां तुम्हारे लिए ही बहती हैं. ये दोनों तुम्हारी महिमा बढ़ावें. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! The wind is going to satisfy you and the rivers flow for you. May these two enhance your glory. (3)
आ प्या॑यस्व॒ समे॑तु ते वि॒श्वतः॑ सोम॒ वृष्ण्य॑म् । भवा॒ वाज॑स्य संग॒थे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम वायु और जल की सहायता से बढ़ो. अभिलाषापूरक बल तुम्हें चारों ओर से प्राप्त हो. तुम अन्न प्राप्त कराने वाले बनो. (४)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You grow with the help of air and water. May you receive the force of desire from all around. You become the one who receives food. (4)
तुभ्यं॒ गावो॑ घृ॒तं पयो॒ बभ्रो॑ दुदु॒ह्रे अक्षि॑तम् । वर्षि॑ष्ठे॒ अधि॒ सान॑वि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पीले रंग के सोम! गाएं तुम्हारे लिए क्षीण न होने वाला दूध-दही देती हैं. तुम बढ़े एवं ऊंचे स्थान पर बैठो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon of yellow! Singing gives you unstainable milk-curd. You grow up and sit on a high place. (5)
स्वा॒यु॒धस्य॑ ते स॒तो भुव॑नस्य पते व॒यम् । इन्दो॑ सखि॒त्वमु॑श्मसि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन आयुधों वाले एवं लोक के स्वामी सोम! हम तुम्हारी मित्रता चाहते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
O Shobhan armaments and lord of the people, Mon! We want your friendship. (6)
