स सु॒तः पी॒तये॒ वृषा॒ सोमः॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति । वि॒घ्नन्रक्षां॑सि देव॒युः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र के पीने के लिए निचोड़े गए, अभिलाषापूरक, राक्षसों का नाश करने वाले एवं देवाभिलाषी सोम भेड़ के बालों द्वारा बने दशापवित्र से छनकर द्रोणकलश में जाते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Indra's squeezed for drinking, the wish-fulfilling, the destroyer of demons and devabhilashi Som, filters from the dashapavitra made by sheep's hair and goes to Dronakalsh. (1)
स प॒वित्रे॑ विचक्ष॒णो हरि॑रर्षति धर्ण॒सिः । अ॒भि योनिं॒ कनि॑क्रदत् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सबके द्रष्टा, हरे रंग वाले एवं सबको धारण करने वाले वे सोम पहले दशापवित्र पर जाते हैं. बाद में शब्द करते हुए द्रोणकलश में गिरते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The seers of all, those who are green and wearing all, they go to Dashapavitra first. Later, the words fall into the dronakalash. (2)
स वा॒जी रो॑च॒ना दि॒वः पव॑मानो॒ वि धा॑वति । र॒क्षो॒हा वार॑म॒व्यय॑म् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे वेगशाली, स्वर्ग को प्रकाशित करने वाले, राक्षसों के हंता एवं निचुड़ते हुए सोम भेड़ के बालों से बने दशापवित्र को पार करके जाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
They cross the dashapavitra made of the hair of the som sheep, the swift, the illuminator of heaven, the destroyers of demons and the lingering mon sheep. (3)
स त्रि॒तस्याधि॒ सान॑वि॒ पव॑मानो अरोचयत् । जा॒मिभिः॒ सूर्यं॑ स॒ह ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वह सोम त्रित ऋषि के समुन्नत यज्ञ में निचुड़कर अपने बढ़े हुए तेजों के साथ सूर्य को प्रकाशित करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
He illuminates the sun with his increased brightness by lying in the Samunat yajna of sage Soma Tritiya. (4)
स वृ॑त्र॒हा वृषा॑ सु॒तो व॑रिवो॒विददा॑भ्यः । सोमो॒ वाज॑मिवासरत् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे वृत्रनाशक, अभिलाषापूरक, निचुड़े हुए, यज्ञकर्ता को धन देने वाले एवं अन्यों द्वारा अपराजेय सोम इस तरह कलश में जाते हैं, जैसे युद्ध में कोई घोड़ा चलता है. (५)
EN English Translation
They go to the kalash like a horse walking in a war, like a horse walking in a war, he goes to the kalash as if he goes to the kalash, who is undeserving of money to the sacrificor, the one who gives money to the yajnakarta and others. (5)
स दे॒वः क॒विने॑षि॒तो॒३॒॑ऽभि द्रोणा॑नि धावति । इन्दु॒रिन्द्रा॑य मं॒हना॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे दीप्तिशाली, भीगे हुए, अध्वर्यु के द्वारा प्रेरित एवं महान् सोम अध्वर्यु की प्रेरणा से इंद्र के निमित्त द्रोणकलश में जाते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
They go to Dronakalash for indra's sake with the help of the radiant, drenched, inspired by adhwaryu and inspired by the great soma adhwaryu. (6)
