असृ॑ग्रन्दे॒ववी॑त॒येऽत्या॑सः॒ कृत्व्या॑ इव । क्षर॑न्तः पर्वता॒वृधः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पर्वतों पर उत्पन्न एवं रस टपकाते हुए सोम यज्ञ में उसी प्रकार तैयार किए जाते हैं, जिस प्रकार कार्यकुशल घोड़ा सजाया जाता है. (१)
EN English Translation
Mons produced on the mountains and dripping juices are prepared in the yajna in the same way as the efficient horse is decorated. (1)
परि॑ष्कृतास॒ इन्द॑वो॒ योषे॑व॒ पित्र्या॑वती । वा॒युं सोमा॑ असृक्षत ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जैसे पिता वाली कन्या अलंकृत होकर वर के पास जाती है, उसी प्रकार निचोड़े जाते हुए सोम वायु को प्राप्त होते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
Just as the daughter of the father goes to the groom ornately, so the soma, being squeezed, is attained to the air. (2)
ए॒ते सोमा॑स॒ इन्द॑वः॒ प्रय॑स्वन्तश्च॒मू सु॒ताः । इन्द्रं॑ वर्धन्ति॒ कर्म॑भिः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दीप्तिशाली, अन्न से युक्त, निचोड़ने के पात्रों में रखे हुए एवं इस यज्ञ में वर्तमान सोम अपने कर्मो से इंद्र को प्रसन्न करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The bright, full of food, placed in the squeezing vessels and in this yajna the present Soma pleases Indra with his deeds. (3)
आ धा॑वता सुहस्त्यः शु॒क्रा गृ॑भ्णीत म॒न्थिना॑ । गोभिः॑ श्रीणीत मत्स॒रम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन हाथों वाले ऋत्विजो! दौड़कर आओ, मथानी से सफेद रंग वाले सोम को ग्रहण करो एवं नशा करने वाले सोम को गाय के दूध, दही आदि से मिलाओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O Ritwijo with shobhan hands! Come running, take the white colored som from the mathani and mix the intoxicating mon with cow's milk, curd, etc. (4)
स प॑वस्व धनंजय प्रय॒न्ता राध॑सो म॒हः । अ॒स्मभ्यं॑ सोम गातु॒वित् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुओं के धनों को जीतने वाले, अभीष्ट मार्ग को प्राप्त कराने वाले एवं हमारे लिए महान् धन के दाता सोम! तुम टपको. (५)
EN English Translation
O You who conquers the wealth of enemies, who has attained the desired path and gives us great wealth! You tap. (5)
ए॒तं मृ॑जन्ति॒ मर्ज्यं॒ पव॑मानं॒ दश॒ क्षिपः॑ । इन्द्रा॑य मत्स॒रं मद॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दस उंगलियां मसलने योग्य, टपकते हुए एवं नशीले इस सोम को इंद्र के निमित्त पवित्र करती हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
Ten fingers are movable, dripping and intoxicating to sanctify this mon for Indra's sake. (6)
