अभू॑दि॒दं व॒युन॒मो षु भू॑षता॒ रथो॒ वृष॑ण्वा॒न्मद॑ता मनीषिणः । धि॒यं॒जि॒न्वा धिष्ण्या॑ वि॒श्पला॑वसू दि॒वो नपा॑ता सु॒कृते॒ शुचि॑व्रता ॥ (१)

हे मेधावी ऋत्विजो! मेरे मन में यह ज्ञान उत्पन्न हुआ है कि अश्विनीकुमारों का कामवर्षी रथ आ गया है. उनके सामने जाकर उन्हें स्तुति से प्रसन्न करो. वे मुझ पुण्यवान् को कर्मबुद्धि देने वाले, स्तुतियोग्य, विश्पला का कल्याण करने वाले, आदित्य के नाती एवं पवित्रकर्म करने वाले हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O bright ritvijo! The knowledge has arisen in my mind that the kamarshi rath of the Ashwinikumars has arrived. Go in front of them and please them with praise. They are the ones who give me the wisdom of virtue, praiseworthy, do good to the world, the grandson of Aditya and do holy deeds. (1)
इन्द्र॑तमा॒ हि धिष्ण्या॑ म॒रुत्त॑मा द॒स्रा दंसि॑ष्ठा र॒थ्या॑ र॒थीत॑मा । पू॒र्णं रथं॑ वहेथे॒ मध्व॒ आचि॑तं॒ तेन॑ दा॒श्वांस॒मुप॑ याथो अश्विना ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम निश्चय ही उत्तम स्वामी, स्तुति के योग्य, मरुतों में श्रेष्ठ, शत्रुनाशक, कर्म करने में अतिशय कुशल, रथ के स्वामी एवं रक्षा करने वालों में श्रेष्ठ हो. तुम मधु से भरे हुए रथ को सभी जगह ले जाते हो. तुम उसी रथ पर बैठकर यज्ञ में आओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Surely you are the best masters, worthy of praise, the best of the maruts, the enemies, the most skilled in doing deeds, the masters of the chariots and the best of those who protect. You take the chariot full of honey all over the place. You sit on the same chariot and come to the yagna. (2)
किमत्र॑ दस्रा कृणुथः॒ किमा॑साथे॒ जनो॒ यः कश्चि॒दह॑विर्मही॒यते॑ । अति॑ क्रमिष्टं जु॒रतं॑ प॒णेरसुं॒ ज्योति॒र्विप्रा॑य कृणुतं वच॒स्यवे॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम यहां क्या कर रहे हो? तुम इस मनुष्य के समीप क्यों ठहरे हो? यदि व्यक्ति यज्ञरहित होकर भी लोगों में आदर पा रहा हो तो उसे हराओ. उस पणि के प्राणों का नाश करो. मैं मेधावी तुम्हारी स्तुति कर रहा हूं. मुझे प्रकाश दो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! What are you doing here? Why are you near this man? If a person is getting respect among the people even without being a yagna, defeat him. Destroy the souls of that cow. I am praising you brilliantly. Give me the light. (3)
ज॒म्भय॑तम॒भितो॒ राय॑तः॒ शुनो॑ ह॒तं मृधो॑ वि॒दथु॒स्तान्य॑श्विना । वाचं॑वाचं जरि॒तू र॒त्निनीं॑ कृतमु॒भा शंसं॑ नासत्यावतं॒ मम॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्विनीकुमारो! उनको मार डालो जो कुत्ते के समान बुरी तरह भौंकते हुए हमें मारने आते हैं अथवा हमसे युद्ध करना चाहते हैं. जो तुम्हारी स्तुति करता है, उसकी प्रत्येक बात को सफल करो. हे नासत्यो! मेरी स्तुति की रक्षा करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Ashwinikumaro! Kill those who come to kill us with a bad barking like a dog or want to fight us. Make every word of him who praises you a success. O nastyo! Protect my praise. (4)
यु॒वमे॒तं च॑क्रथुः॒ सिन्धु॑षु प्ल॒वमा॑त्म॒न्वन्तं॑ प॒क्षिणं॑ तौ॒ग्र्याय॒ कम् । येन॑ देव॒त्रा मन॑सा निरू॒हथुः॑ सुपप्त॒नी पे॑तथुः॒ क्षोद॑सो म॒हः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुमने तुग्र राजा के पुत्र के लिए सागर में तैरने वाली, दृढ़ एवं डांड़ों वाली नाव बनाई थी. सब देवों में तुम्हीं ने कृपा करके उसे सागर से निकाला एवं तुमने सहसा आकर विशाल सागर से उसका उद्धार किया था. (५)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! You built a boat for the son of the King Tugrah to swim in the sea, firm and stalk. Among all the gods, you kindly brought him out of the sea, and you came and saved him from the vast ocean. (5)
अव॑विद्धं तौ॒ग्र्यम॒प्स्व१॒॑न्तर॑नारम्भ॒णे तम॑सि॒ प्रवि॑द्धम् । चत॑स्रो॒ नावो॒ जठ॑लस्य॒ जुष्टा॒ उद॒श्विभ्या॑मिषि॒ताः पा॑रयन्ति ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
तुग्र का पुत्र भुज्यु शत्रु द्वारा नीचे को मुंह करके पानी में गिराया गया था, इसलिए अंधकार में बहुत दुःखी था. सागर में उसे चार नावें मिलीं जो अश्विनीकुमारों ने भेजी थीं. (६)
EN English Translation
Bhujyu, the son of Tugra, was dropped into the water by the enemy, so he was very sad in the darkness. In sagar, he found four boats which were sent by the Ashwinikumars. (6)
कः स्वि॑द्वृ॒क्षो निष्ठि॑तो॒ मध्ये॒ अर्ण॑सो॒ यं तौ॒ग्र्यो ना॑धि॒तः प॒र्यष॑स्वजत् । प॒र्णा मृ॒गस्य॑ प॒तरो॑रिवा॒रभ॒ उद॑श्विना ऊहथुः॒ श्रोम॑ताय॒ कम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
याचना करते हुए तुग्रपुत्र ने जल के मध्य एवं वृक्ष निर्मित जिस निश्चल रथ का सहारा लिया था. वह क्या था? जिस प्रकार गिरते हुए बलि पशु को सींग आदि से पकड़कर उठाते हैं, उसी प्रकार भुज्यु की रक्षा करके तुमने बहुत यश पाया. (७)
EN English Translation
While pleading, The Son of The Tugrah had resorted to the insatiable chariot that was built in the middle of the water and the tree. What was that? Just as the falling sacrifices lift the animal by holding it with horns, etc., you have achieved great success by protecting Bhujayu. (7)
तद्वां॑ नरा नासत्या॒वनु॑ ष्या॒द्यद्वां॒ माना॑स उ॒चथ॒मवो॑चन् । अ॒स्माद॒द्य सद॑सः सो॒म्यादा वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेता अश्विनीकुमारो! तुम अपने भक्तों द्वारा किए गए स्तुति वचनों को स्वीकार करो. बुम आज हमारे द्वारा किए जाते हुए सोम मार्ग के स्तोत्र को स्वीकार करो, जिससे हम अन्न, बल और दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त करें. (८)
EN English Translation
O leader Ashwinikumaro! You accept the praises made by your devotees. Bum, accept the hymns of the Som way we do today, so that we may gain food, strength and long life. (8)
