इ॒मां ख॑ना॒म्योष॑धिं वी॒रुधं॒ बल॑वत्तमाम् । यया॑ स॒पत्नीं॒ बाध॑ते॒ यया॑ संवि॒न्दते॒ पति॑म् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं इस परम शक्तिशाली एवं लतारूपिणी ओषधि को खोदती हूं. इसके द्वारा सौत को कष्ट पहुंचाकर पति का प्रेम पाया जाता है. (१)
EN English Translation
I dig this extremely powerful and latarupini infusion. Through this, the love of the husband is found by causing suffering to the saut. (1)
उत्ता॑नपर्णे॒ सुभ॑गे॒ देव॑जूते॒ सह॑स्वति । स॒पत्नीं॑ मे॒ परा॑ धम॒ पतिं॑ मे॒ केव॑लं कुरु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऊपर की ओर पत्तों वाली, सौभाग्य का कारण, देवों द्वारा प्रेरित एवं पति को वश में करने वाली ओषधि! तुम मेरी सौत को दूर हटाकर मेरे पति को केवल मेरा बनाओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O the leaves on the upward side, the cause of good fortune, the medicine inspired by the gods and subdued the husband! You remove my soul and make my husband mine only mine. (2)
उत्त॑रा॒हमु॑त्तर॒ उत्त॒रेदुत्त॑राभ्यः । अथा॑ स॒पत्नी॒ या ममाध॑रा॒ साध॑राभ्यः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे उत्तम ओषधि! मैं अपने पति की प्रधान नारियों में भी प्रधान बनूं. मेरी सौत निम्न से भी निम्न स्थान प्राप्त करे. (३)
EN English Translation
O the best medicine! I should also be the head of my husband's chief ladies. Get my son-in-law lower than the following. (3)
न॒ह्य॑स्या॒ नाम॑ गृ॒भ्णामि॒ नो अ॒स्मिन्र॑मते॒ जने॑ । परा॑मे॒व प॑रा॒वतं॑ स॒पत्नीं॑ गमयामसि ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं अपनी सौत का नाम तक नहीं लेती. सौत को कोई भी पंसद नहीं करता. मैं अपनी सौत को बहुत दूर स्थान पर भेजती हूं. (४)
EN English Translation
I don't even take the name of my son. No one likes Saut. I send my son-in-law to a very far away place. (4)
अ॒हम॑स्मि॒ सह॑मा॒नाथ॒ त्वम॑सि सास॒हिः । उ॒भे सह॑स्वती भू॒त्वी स॒पत्नीं॑ मे सहावहै ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ओषधि! मैं तुम्हारी कृपा से अपनी सौत को पराजित करूंगी. इस प्रकार तुम भी पराजित करने वाली हो. हम और तुम दोनों शक्तिशालिनी बनकर सौत को शक्तिहीन करें. (५)
EN English Translation
O hermit! I will defeat my son-in-law by your grace. Thus you are also going to be defeated. Let us and you both become powerful and make Saut powerless. (5)
उप॑ तेऽधां॒ सह॑मानाम॒भि त्वा॑धां॒ सही॑यसा । मामनु॒ प्र ते॒ मनो॑ व॒त्सं गौरि॑व धावतु प॒था वारि॑व धावतु ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पति! मैंने तुम्हारे तकिए के सहारे इस शक्तिशालिनी ओषधि को तुम्हारे सिरहाने रख दिया है. जिस प्रकार गाय दौड़कर बछड़े के पास चली जाती है और पानी नीचे की ओर चलता है, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारा मन मेरे समीप आवे. (६)
EN English Translation
Oh, husband! I have put this powerful herb with the help of your pillow in your head. Just as the cow runs to the calf and the water moves downwards, so let your mind come near to me. (6)
