अ॒ग्निरिन्द्रो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा वा॒युः पू॒षा सर॑स्वती स॒जोष॑सः । आ॒दि॒त्या विष्णु॑र्म॒रुतः॒ स्व॑र्बृ॒हत्सोमो॑ रु॒द्रो अदि॑ति॒र्ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑ ॥ (१)

अग्नि, इंद्र, मित्र, अर्यमा, वायु, पूषा, सरस्वती, आदित्यगण, विष्णु, मरुद्गण, स्वर्ग, विशाल स्वर्ग, सोम, रुद्र, अदिति और ब्रह्मणस्पति सब मिलकर अपनी महिमा से अंतरिक्ष को पूर्ण करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Agni, Indra, Mitra, Aryama, Vayu, Pusha, Saraswati, Adityagana, Vishnu, Marudgana, Heaven, Vast Heaven, Som, Rudra, Aditi and Brahmanaspati all together complete the space with their glory. (1)
इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी वृ॑त्र॒हत्ये॑षु॒ सत्प॑ती मि॒थो हि॑न्वा॒ना त॒न्वा॒३॒॑ समो॑कसा । अ॒न्तरि॑क्षं॒ मह्या प॑प्रु॒रोज॑सा॒ सोमो॑ घृत॒श्रीर्म॑हि॒मान॑मी॒रय॑न् ॥ (२)

सज्जनों के पालक, युद्ध में एकत्र होकर शरीरबल से शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले एवं महान् आकाश को अपने तेज से पूर्ण करने वाले इंद्र अग्नि के बल को घृतमिश्रित सोमरस से बढ़ाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The guardians of the gentlemen, gather in the battle and destroy the enemies with body force and complete the great sky with their brightness, indra increases the force of agni with the abrasive somras. (2)
तेषां॒ हि म॒ह्ना म॑ह॒ताम॑न॒र्वणां॒ स्तोमा॒ँ इय॑र्म्यृत॒ज्ञा ऋ॑ता॒वृधा॑म् । ये अ॑प्स॒वम॑र्ण॒वं चि॒त्ररा॑धस॒स्ते नो॑ रासन्तां म॒हये॑ सुमि॒त्र्याः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यज्ञ का ज्ञाता मैं अपने महत्त्व से महान् शत्रुओं द्वारा अपराजेय एवं यज्ञ की वृद्धि करने वाले देवों की स्तुति करता हूं. विचित्र धन से युक्त वे देव मेघों से जल बरसाते हैं. शोभन मैत्री वाले वे देव हमें धन देकर मानवों में श्रेष्ठ बनावें. (३)
EN English Translation
I admire the gods who are unbeatable by the great enemies and the ones who have increased the yajna by their importance. Those gods with strange wealth rain water from the clouds. May those gods with a strong friendship make us the best of human beings by giving us money. (3)
स्व॑र्णरम॒न्तरि॑क्षाणि रोच॒ना द्यावा॒भूमी॑ पृथि॒वीं स्क॑म्भु॒रोज॑सा । पृ॒क्षा इ॑व म॒हय॑न्तः सुरा॒तयो॑ दे॒वाः स्त॑वन्ते॒ मनु॑षाय सू॒रयः॑ ॥ (४)

उन्हीं देवों ने अपनी शक्ति से सबके नेता सूर्य, आकाश में स्थित तेजस्वी नक्षत्रों, द्युलोक एवं धरती को स्थित किया है. दरिद्रों को धन दान करने के समान स्तोताओं को धन से सम्मानित करने वाले देव मानवों को श्रेष्ठ बनाते हैं. हम यज्ञां में ऐसे देवों की स्तुति करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The same gods have established by their power the leader of all the sun, the bright constellations in the sky, the dyulloka and the earth. The gods who honor the hymns with wealth like donating money to the poor make the best of human beings. We praise such gods in the yagnas. (4)
मि॒त्राय॑ शिक्ष॒ वरु॑णाय दा॒शुषे॒ या स॒म्राजा॒ मन॑सा॒ न प्र॒युच्छ॑तः । ययो॒र्धाम॒ धर्म॑णा॒ रोच॑ते बृ॒हद्ययो॑रु॒भे रोद॑सी॒ नाध॑सी॒ वृतौ॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तोताओं को धन देने वाले मित्र और वरुण को हव्य दो. भली प्रकार सुशोभित ये दोनों मन से कभी असावधान नहीं होते. इनका शरीर अपने तेज से प्रकाशित होता है. विस्तृत द्यावा-पृथिवी याचना करती हुई इनके समीप उपस्थित होती है. (५)
EN English Translation
Give hello to the friend who gives money to the psalms and to Varun. Well-groomed, these two are never mindless. Their body is illuminated by its own brightness. The broad earth is present near them, begging. (5)
या गौर्व॑र्त॒निं प॒र्येति॑ निष्कृ॒तं पयो॒ दुहा॑ना व्रत॒नीर॑वा॒रतः॑ । सा प्र॑ब्रुवा॒णा वरु॑णाय दा॒शुषे॑ दे॒वेभ्यो॑ दाशद्ध॒विषा॑ वि॒वस्व॑ते ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मेरी जो दुधारू व यज्ञसंपादिका गाय बिना प्रार्थना के यज्ञ में आती है, वह वरुण को हव्य देने वाले तथा अन्न द्वारा अन्य देवों की सेवा करने वाले मेरी रक्षा करें. मैं उस गाय की स्तुति करता हूं. (६)
EN English Translation
Let the milch and sacrificial cow that comes to the yagna without prayer protect me from those who give a vow to Varuna and serve other gods through food. I praise that cow. (6)
दि॒वक्ष॑सो अग्निजि॒ह्वा ऋ॑ता॒वृध॑ ऋ॒तस्य॒ योनिं॑ विमृ॒शन्त॑ आसते । द्यां स्क॑भि॒त्व्य१॒॑प आ च॑क्रु॒रोज॑सा य॒ज्ञं ज॑नि॒त्वी त॒न्वी॒३॒॑ नि मा॑मृजुः ॥ (७)

अपने तेज से आकाश को पूर्ण करने वाले, अग्निरूपी जिह्वा वाले व यज्ञ की वृद्धि करने वाले देव यज्ञ में अपना-अपना स्थान पहचान कर बैठते हैं. आकाश को धारण करके अपनी शक्ति से जल निकालते हैं एवं यज्ञ के द्रव्यों को अपने शरीर में सुशोभित करते हैं. (७)
EN English Translation
The gods who complete the sky with their brightness, the agni-like tongue, and the ones who increase the yajna, identify their place in the yajna. By holding the sky, they draw water from their power and embellish the objects of yajna in their body. (7)
प॒रि॒क्षिता॑ पि॒तरा॑ पूर्व॒जाव॑री ऋ॒तस्य॒ योना॑ क्षयतः॒ समो॑कसा । द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी वरु॑णाय॒ सव्र॑ते घृ॒तव॒त्पयो॑ महि॒षाय॑ पिन्वतः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सर्वत्र व्याप्त, सबके माता-पिता के समान, सबसे पहले उत्पन्न होने वाले एवं समान स्थान वाले द्यावा-पृथिवी यज्ञस्थल में रहते हैं. समान कर्म वाले द्यावा-पृथिवी पूज्य वरुण को बहने वाले जल से सींचते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
The first to be born, like all the parents, living in the shrine of the first to be born and in the same place. The dyava-prithvi pujyas with similar deeds irrigate Varuna with the flowing water. (8)
प॒र्जन्या॒वाता॑ वृष॒भा पु॑री॒षिणे॑न्द्रवा॒यू वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । दे॒वाँ आ॑दि॒त्याँ अदि॑तिं हवामहे॒ ये पार्थि॑वासो दि॒व्यासो॑ अ॒प्सु ये ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अभिलाषापूरक तथा जलयुक्त मेघ एवं वायु को व इंद्र, वरुण, अर्यमा, अदितिपुत्र देवों एवं देवमाता अदिति को हम बुलाते हैं. हम पृथ्वी, आकाश एवं जल में स्थित देवों को भी बुलाते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
We call the desireful and watery cloud and air and Indra, Varuna, Aryama, Aditiputra Devas and Devmata Aditi. We also call the gods in the earth, the sky and the water. (9)
त्वष्टा॑रं वा॒युमृ॑भवो॒ य ओह॑ते॒ दैव्या॒ होता॑रा उ॒षसं॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ । बृह॒स्पतिं॑ वृत्रखा॒दं सु॑मे॒धस॑मिन्द्रि॒यं सोमं॑ धन॒सा उ॑ ईमहे ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋभुओ! हम उन्हीं सोम से धन की याचना करते हैं जो तुम्हारे कल्याण के निमित्त देवों को बुलाने वाले त्वष्टा, वायु एवं उषा के पास जाते हैं, जो बृहस्पति एवं शोभन मेधा वाले इंद्र के समीप पहुंचते हैं एवं इंद्र को प्रसन्न करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
Hey, Lord! We ask for wealth from the same Mon who goes to The Taksha, Vayu and Usha, who call the gods for your welfare, who approach Indra with Jupiter and Shobhan Medha and please Indra. (10)
ब्रह्म॒ गामश्वं॑ ज॒नय॑न्त॒ ओष॑धी॒र्वन॒स्पती॑न्पृथि॒वीं पर्व॑ताँ अ॒पः । सूर्यं॑ दि॒वि रो॒हय॑न्तः सु॒दान॑व॒ आर्या॑ व्र॒ता वि॑सृ॒जन्तो॒ अधि॒ क्षमि॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवों ने अन्न, गाय, घोड़े, वृक्षों, वनस्पतियों, पृथ्वी, पर्वतों और जलों को उत्पन्न किया है एवं सूर्य को आकाश में चढ़ाया है. शोभन दान वाले देवों ने धरती पर उत्तम कार्य किए हैं. (११)
EN English Translation
The gods have produced food, cows, horses, trees, vegetation, earth, mountains and water and offered the sun to the sky. The gods with shobhan donation have done excellent work on earth. (11)
भु॒ज्युमंह॑सः पिपृथो॒ निर॑श्विना॒ श्यावं॑ पु॒त्रं व॑ध्रिम॒त्या अ॑जिन्वतम् । क॒म॒द्युवं॑ विम॒दायो॑हथुर्यु॒वं वि॑ष्णा॒प्वं१॒॑ विश्व॑का॒याव॑ सृजथः ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुमने भुज्यु को उपद्रवकारी समुद्र से बचाया, वध्रिमती को सोने के रंग वाला पुत्र दिया, विमद ऋषि को कामोद्दीपक पत्नी दी तथा विश्वक ऋषि को विष्णाप्व नामक पुत्र दिया. (१२)
EN English Translation
O aschinikumaro! You saved Bhujyu from the troubled sea, gave the bride a son with a golden colour, gave the sage Vimad an aphrodisiac wife and gave the vishwaka sage a son named Vishnapav. (12)
पावी॑रवी तन्य॒तुरेक॑पाद॒जो दि॒वो ध॒र्ता सिन्धु॒रापः॑ समु॒द्रियः॑ । विश्वे॑ दे॒वासः॑ शृणव॒न्वचां॑सि मे॒ सर॑स्वती स॒ह धी॒भिः पुरं॑ध्या ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
आयुधों वाली एवं गर्जन करने वाली मध्यम वाणी, द्युलोक को धारण करने वाले अजएकपात्, सिंधु, सागर का जल, विश्वेदेव एवं कर्मो के साथ अनेक प्रकार की बुद्धियों से युक्त सरस्वती मेरे वचनों को सुनें. (१३)
EN English Translation
Listen to my words, with a middle voice of arms and thunder, the ajaekpata that holds the doloka, the indus, the waters of the sea, the waters of the sea, the vishvadev and the saraswati with many kinds of intellects. (13)
विश्वे॑ दे॒वाः स॒ह धी॒भिः पुरं॑ध्या॒ मनो॒र्यज॑त्रा अ॒मृता॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः । रा॒ति॒षाचो॑ अभि॒षाचः॑ स्व॒र्विदः॒ स्व१॒॑र्गिरो॒ ब्रह्म॑ सू॒क्तं जु॑षेरत ॥ (१४)

कर्मो एवं ज्ञानों से युक्त, मानवीय यज्ञों में सत्कार के पात्र, मरणरहित, सत्य को जानने वाले, हव्यग्रहणकर्ता, सामने से यज्ञ में सम्मिलित होने वाले एवं सब कुछ प्राप्त करने वाले इंद्रादि देव हमारी स्तुतियों एवं अन्न को ग्रहण करें. (१४)
EN English Translation
May Indradi Dev, who is full of deeds and knowledge, the vessels of hospitality in human yagnas, the deathless, the knower of the truth, the recipient, the one who joins the yagna from the front and receives everything, may Indradi Dev receive our praises and food. (14)
दे॒वान्वसि॑ष्ठो अ॒मृता॑न्ववन्दे॒ ये विश्वा॒ भुव॑ना॒भि प्र॑त॒स्थुः । ते नो॑ रासन्तामुरुगा॒यम॒द्य यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वसिष्ठ वंश में उत्पन्न ऋषि ने मरणरहित देवों की वंदना की है. वे देव सभी लोकों में स्थित हैं. वे हमें आज अधिक यशस्कर अन्न दें. हे देवो! तुम कल्याणकारी साधनों द्वारा हमारी रक्षा करो. (१५)
EN English Translation
The sage born in the Vasishtha dynasty has worshipped the godless without death. They are located in all the realms of God. They give us more successful food today. Oh, God! You protect us by welfare means. (15)
