वि॒हि होत्रा॒ अवी॑ता॒ विपो॒ न रायो॑ अ॒र्यः । वाय॒वा च॒न्द्रेण॒ रथे॑न या॒हि सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम शत्रुओं को भयकंपित करने वाले राजाओं के समान दूसरों द्वारा बिना पिया हुआ सोम सबसे पहले पिओ एवं स्तुतिकर्ता को धनसंपन्न करो. हे वायु! तुम सोमरस पीने के लिए प्रसन्रतादायक रथ द्वारा आओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O air! You drink the som without being drunk by others like kings who frighten the enemies, first of all and give riches to the praiseor. O air! You come by the refreshing chariot to drink the somras. (1)
नि॒र्यु॒वा॒णो अश॑स्तीर्नि॒युत्वा॒ँ इन्द्र॑सारथिः । वाय॒वा च॒न्द्रेण॒ रथे॑न या॒हि सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम सभी प्रशंसाओं से युक्त, घोड़ों के स्वामी एवं इंद्र के सहायक बनकर अपने अन्नदाता रथ द्वारा सोम पीने हेतु आओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O air! You, with all the praises, come to drink the som through your annadata rath, as the lord of the horses and the helper of Indra. (2)
अनु॑ कृ॒ष्णे वसु॑धिती ये॒माते॑ वि॒श्वपे॑शसा । वाय॒वा च॒न्द्रेण॒ रथे॑न या॒हि सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! काले रंग वाले, धनों को धारण करने वाले एवं विश्वयुक्त धरती-आकाश तुम्हारे पीछे चलते हैं. तुम आनंददायक रथ द्वारा सोम पीने हेतु आओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O air! The black-colored, the riches, and the world-rich earth and the sky follow you. You come to drink som by the pleasurable chariot. (3)
वह॑न्तु त्वा मनो॒युजो॑ यु॒क्तासो॑ नव॒तिर्नव॑ । वाय॒वा च॒न्द्रेण॒ रथे॑न या॒हि सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! मन के समान तीव्र गति वाले एवं एक-दूसरे से मिलकर चलने वाले निन्यानवे घोड़े तुम्हें लाते हैं. हे वायु! तुम अपने आनंदप्रद रथ द्वारा सोम पीने के लिए आओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O air! Ninety-nine horses with the same speed as the mind and walking with each other bring you. O air! You come to drink mon by your blissful chariot. (4)
वायो॑ श॒तं हरी॑णां यु॒वस्व॒ पोष्या॑णाम् । उ॒त वा॑ ते सह॒स्रिणो॒ रथ॒ आ या॑तु॒ पाज॑सा ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम सौ स्वस्थ अश्वों को अपने रथ में जोड़ो अथवा हजार को. उनसे युक्त तुम्हारा रथ शीघ्रता से आवे. (५)
EN English Translation
O air! You add a hundred healthy horses to your chariot or a thousand. Let your chariot with them come quickly. (5)
